THIEVES

LONG LINEUPS/POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TD RAN OUT OF USD DRAFTS

I went to this TD branch today and it was super busy with very long lineups. They had 3-4 tellers open but it still took a really long time to finally get to the headbof the line.

So I tell the CSR that I need a USD draft so she goes to get one and then she comes back and she tells me that they haven't got any drafts out front so someone has to go get some from a storage room in the back. I was really peeved about this and I told the CSR that someone in the branch should make sure that they have the proper supply of drafts out front.

I finally got my draft but I wasted so much time waiting in line and then I had to waste more time waiting while they were searching for USD drafts!

All in all, it was a very negative experience going to this branch today!

Please return old easy web design back

Please return old easy web design back. All the new ones is absolutely garbage. Design to to further confuse people. The old design before the introduction of your new nonsense was ideal. Take away this madness. Otherwise, the further you go, the more people will leave your bank.

I would rather rate my TD Canada Trust…

I would rather rate my TD Canada Trust experience with a 0.1 star, but it does not show less than one star. Oh well! I received my 2023 Income Tax refund in the form of a cheque from CRA. I deposited it online to my account, and told by their Fraud Department they had consulted with CRA itself that it was a bad cheque-Fraud! I verified it with CRA this morning. I even secured a Badge Number for the gentleman with whom I spoke for almost an hour by telephone. The long and short of my story is this, inspite of the fact that the cheque been cleared and the funds are sitting in my account, they are choosing to play with my money for another five days before they release it to me, all the while calling this action their so called policy. I will not forget to mention how consistently arrogant, self righteous and disrespectful to a client of their institution and seventy-five year old senior citizen who still has all her marbles they were…

TD representatives making same mistakes again and again.

TD representatives constantly making same errors. It takes about an hour, or more to get your call to be answered by TD rep., and then call dropped. I call again and spend another hour, or more and , if I'm lucky, live agent responds my call. TD rep. assures you that error was corrected, next billing cycle I see same error again. So I have to spend another hour/s on call waiting when call will be answered by live agent and hope that same error will be addressed properly, without f...ups. Terrible service. I've started moving my banking to another institution.

Td fraud department has to be the most…

Td fraud department has to be the most arrogant bunch of people I have ever dealt with and I say this based on multiple experiences.

They lock your atm or visa, but do not notify you until you try and use them and then well it is too late, as they cannot do anything on the phone and everything must be in branch with an absurd amount of ID. What if I am out for dinner, or in another country and need my visa or atm card, well surprise and too bad. So basically, I never know if my cards will work as the fraud department could have locked and does lock my card, quite frequently, telling me that I entered my pin multiple times incorrectly, which is all news to me, Since they let your all preauthorized payments go through you will never know that you are carrying a useless piece of plastic until it is too late. Today, they asked me to enter my pin for my atm card, my driver’s license and to text me a code on my cell phone, all to have me then pick a new pin. Safety is important, but only up to a point.

I talk to a lady and dislike how she can't give me my refund they charge $48 fee so many time. Its ridiculous how people are struggling and this is what they do. The other time the other lady handle it better. I know why the review is only 2 star now.

I honestly do NOT like TD whatsoever

I honestly do NOT like TD whatsoever; the differences between branches' policies and procedures are insane. After sooo much frustration dealing with an Estate, I pulled my company and personal funds and went to a completely different financial institution. However, having said that, I do want to recognize an excellent Associate ("Seyi") and an equally excellent and accommodating branch manager (Nidhi") at the main branch, Regina. If it wasn't for these two professional, helpful and courteous staff, TD banking would continue to rank a score of 1 in my book. Comparable in competency to Tangerine, which is actually quite insulting.

I have withdrawn money from one of…

I have withdrawn money from one of their ATM located at 7080 Warden Av. And it was $100 short. I have spoken with one of their Manager M.X asking to have my money back, he said i had to call the complaint line which i did and it was denied. I have also asked them to watch their cameras & count money from their ATM they refused. That bank stole the money i have earned working hard

TD freezes your money when you are abroad

I am a Canadian pensioner living abroad. I receive my pension in my TD bank account. TD closed my account with my huge amount of savings and pension, telling me to come back to the country if I want to get my money. I am an elderly person and cannot fly such long distances. TD doesn't care and said there is nothing else they can do. They talked to me as if I was the problem and blamed me when they were at fault. One rep. even blamed the government of Canada!! Unbelievably, they told me repeatedly to call the gov. of Canada!!! Zero accountability. I have done nothing wrong. I am a good citizen. I pay my taxes and only receive my pension in this account. They lied that they would send me a new card twice after my card expired, making me wait and destroying my plans. My pension keeps arriving in the account and I cannot use my own money! They don't care if you are abroad, they freeze your money. In one word: "You are alone. We don't care about you. Your pension has become the property of the bank!" This is a huge human rights violation and discrimination against me because I am old and abroad. When I asked them to transfer my money abroad, they refused. Saying I have to come back to the country. How is this possible when international transactions are done everyday by every bank around the world?

Customer service is a joke

Customer service is absolutely terrible for Canadian citizens outside of Canada trying to get help with td accounts. They do not give a flying F if you get locked out of your account and the agents are extremely rude and pushy.

NO TRUST . ( TD) BANK

NEGATIVE 0 if I could rate that. NO TRUST in TD
Recently I had a very bad experience and then another and then another at TD Bank . I finally walked into a credit union and spoke to a rep who also happened to be a former TD Bank Staff person ( senior level) they advised that they personally took everything OUT of TD and will never go back as the bank as severely declined. Sad to hear bc I opened my first account many many years ago- and have been a loyal customer ever since my university student days and used to receive exceptional service and feel valued as a client.
.LOYALTY used to mean something.
However over the past 7 years -
Its a complete nightmare. Poor CSR service, greedy over charges, Poor Aeroplan service where it takes days to even redeem points and reach a HUMAN to speak to regarding. Rates are increased on the fly and they do and add policy changes where and whenever they deem sometime with no notification- THE PERSON and CLIENT COMES ABSOLUTELY LAST! Go elsewhere, invest and stay away.

TD does not value customer loyalty

TD does not value customer loyalty, in fact it actively disrespects loyal customers by adding fees once you are comfortable and then hoping you do not notice.

Not sure why but I expected more given the 5-6 years of loyalty and tens of thousands of dollars invested in the bank.

If you like high fees and sneaky fee structures, go no further.

Needless to say this is the straw that broke the camel’s back.

As well as the $30/month to let them gain interest on your funds… disgusting.

Poor IT platform, customers unfriendly menu..

I am a TD client for 17 years and I have strong feeling that the quality of IT work is getting dramatically down... Almost every time when I try to make e-transfer from my computer and login to TD, I receive "Sorry, we have technical difficulties, try again later"...
Main/Menu page looks SO poor and customer-unfriendly, bleach green color...Who is responsible for IT support - India students? Shame!

I've been with this bank for a long time on the first I bought government check in ATM I am very sick I have brain injury and heart problem I supposed to get my medicine the bank hold half of my money it is government check I am suffering I'm struggling literally I can survive I am on disability it is really not fair they said oh you can get it on the 7th they know everybody's struggling it is only $60 and it is a government check

This branch has lied!!

This branch has lied, not on one occasion but multiple occasions.
The branch manager Anton, is something else, the fact that I have been a client here for MANY years (20 plus years) and carry all of my business banking, personal banking and some investments with TD, and to be treated with SUCH lack of respect, dignity and integrity is very very unfortunate.
I have strings of emails with all of the evidence of the lies told to me via email by the branch manager and my business advisor.

They are 100% Unable to tell me who is bouncing checks on my business account, then issue me names of clients that are not even involved IN bouncing checks, they then tell me they have NO way to track down bounced checks, and that I need to approach each client to see if it was them! Absolutely bad bad business. I had to escalate it further to the customer service dept, which also took days to obtain what was needed.

Needless to say, I will be moving all of my finances out of this bank in the coming months, While it is a LOT of work to get moved to another bank, it will be worth it, seeing how this management and branch has treated me as a client was absolutely TERRIBLE.

The reviews from other highend business owners are nothing but the truth, very upsetting that this is the new standard of customer care,

If anyone does want all evidence of this review - I am more then happy to provide it to anyone at the branch.

Way to go TD, you finally pushed me to the brink to get to the point to leave all together...

TD bank that has No Trust

TD has completely dumb customer service who don't care of the Client's needs and just keep ignoring the requests. Recently moved overseas and changed the phone number, then was unable to access TD Easy Web due to multifactor authenticator not recognizing my new phone. Called TD Customer support multiple times and the only answer they were given is that I need to go back to Canada and visit the branch. This is just ridiculous considering that travel from Europe will cost me few thousand dollars plus time in order just to change the phone number in a branch. Really disgusting attitude considering that I lost access to my accounts being abroad. Once back, will sure close all my accounts with those scammers and transfer my money elsewhere. Worst banking experience so far!

Great experience. Called in due to some card problems. The attendant was helpful, professional and personal. Had a great time talking AND felt like everything was fixed. Thanks TD Canada Trust!
