TeamGee H20T Defective on Arrival & Customer Service Pressuring Me to Repair it Myself

After I received my H20T, I charged it all day for roughly 16 hours. The battery appears to be defective. It is fully charged, but not powering on. Even when I keep it plugged in to the charger, it will not turn on. There is a very faint beep only when pressing the power button on the board, but no light. The remote will connect very briefly and show very low battery on the skateboard, then it disconnects after a few seconds. The remote is fully charged. I continued charging the board for 48 consecutive hours and the board still will not power on. It appears that the H20T battery is dead. It is similar to what is seen in other H20T problem videos on YouTube.

I contacted customer service immediately, roughly 16 hours after receiving the board. I requested that it be swapped with a replacement board, as your website states was an option for defective boards. Rather than providing what I asked, the customer service team tried to talk me into keeping the board and doing my own replacement of the battery and grip tape. Each time I expressed that I am not comfortable doing that, and they asked 2 more times, for a total of 3 times. This has made me unsure as to whether TeamGee would even honor the 90-day warranty, since they seem very insistent on trying to convince me to repair the defective board on my own. Even after I replied twice that I was not willing to attempt my own repair of the defective board, they kept pushing me and asked me a 3rd time to do it. Now I am considering requesting a full refund instead of replacing the board with a new one.

teamgee is on it! customer service is refreshingly fast and super helpful!

The teamgee customer service is great, I ordered a battery for my h20 mini not knowing which battery was needed for my board because there's 2 different connection and battery types. Teamgee promptly got back with me explaining that to me I sent pics and you guys sent it right away. Teamgee cost service responds is shockingly fast and very helpful. You guys are on it! Thank you Devin Harmon.

I ordered from them in November it’s not January and still do not have the product atrocious service all around atrocious I will never even consider purchasing from this company ever again.

I’ll leave it at. You guys gotta get your selfs together badly your service was down right pathetic.

Great

It came at the right time no delay. Great specially for commuting in college campus. If you are short like me (5ft) don’t feel the need to stick to small or regular boards the H5 is really fun and if carrying it isn’t an issue I just get it from one end and let the other roll(if that makes sense).

Wrong, wrong and wrong again…

I was sent the wrong replacement remote control for my H20 Mini. Then I was told to order another different remote which also didn’t work. So then I’m told that I need ANOTHER one, that they’re sorry, and I was given a promo code for 50% off. Then when I went to order it the promo code didn’t work and I ended up paying full price. It still hasn’t came yet, so I don’t know if it will work. But I despise this company.
