I would give no stars if I could

I would give no stars if I could. I have been trying to find a replacement bowl for my tefal cook4me. I cannot describe to you how amazing the product is, I am on my second in 10 years.

I received a generic response after contacting customer service, from a gentleman named ‘Tom’.

Not only was it clear that my email to recall customer service was not read, their own website not checked for product availability (which is listed sold out), or their authorised resellers, who don’t not have the bowl in stock, I was directed by ‘Tom’ to search these places for ‘small parts’.

The bowl is not a small part, their website does not have it in stock, nor do any authorised resellers. Short of buying a new cook4me, which retail at close to $500, I am unable to obtain a replacement bowl.

Overarated product that’s twice the price of others

I phoned to query why the non stick plates on my Opti-grill (a year into the 2 year warranty) no longer functioned and the I have to say I was shocked at the zero empathy and defensive excuses their customer service staff showed me.
I’ll NEVER buy another product from this company

Tefal using inferior materials

This is a cautionary tale for anyone with an actifry. We have had a 2 in 1 actifry for some years so it is out of guarantee.
Last night my wife was using it to cook fish and chips, when she came to lift out the tray the handle broke. Fortunately she was holding it over a work surface so it landed on that. If however she had been taking it across the kitchen not only would we have lost our dinner, she could have been injured. She did suffer a slight burn to her arm as the tray fell towards her.
This morning, I inspected the handle only to discover that the internal plastic part was in fact crumbly.
Not good enough Tefal! This is a shoddy design, the plastic is clearly not suitable for a hot situation and the outcome could have been more serious.

So anybody who has an Actifry needs to make sure that when removing from the tray it should always be over a surface so that it does not land on you.
And Tefal, you need to change your design and use materials that are able to cope with exposure to heat.
This design is totally inadequate

Product failure.

Product failure.
Tefal have let their brand down. After purchasing a set of Tefal pans with the detachable handles, I am extremely disappointed that the handle has broken after a few months of minimal use.
When reporting this issue to the customer service you are subjected to what I can only call the Spanish Inquisition. Each question being an attempt to omit there responsibility of a faulty product and blame the consumer for misuse.
When they request you return your faulty item, they don't mention that they won't be replacing it straight away and you are left without a handle to use on their handless pan set.
Shame on you Tefal. You need to do better.
I would not recommend nor will I be purchasing anything else from Tefal.

Appalling service

Sent me a spare handle which was scratched to bits, foreign call centre, big let down. Useless and rude! Funny thing is they tell the customer NOT to be rude, perhaps they should be telling their call centre staff not to be rude! Three calls later, after two really abusive members of staff shouted at me, I got through to someone, although dreadful English, did want to help! Avoid at all costs! I now have to send back the broken handle for replacement but I want my money back instead! WILL NEVER USE THESE COWBOYS AGAIN!

Tefal Actifry Advance Quality and Postage Issues

Our Tefal Actifry Advance has a broken anti spill ring. The fryer is approx 2 years old and our 2nd product. The paddle broke on the first fryer we purchased a few years ago. The problem in both cases appears to be a lack of structural strength whilst hot. The Tefal spares site quotes the ring at £6.90 which appears very reasonable until postage of nearly £11 is applied at checkout. Amazon list the same item for £9.99 with free postage. Time to scrub Tefal from my preferred supplier of small domestic appliances.

Horrendous customer service - don’t waste your money!

Ordered a £200 Ingenio pan set, the handles after a while become faulty. As instructed, I sent them back to be told they will be sending me some new ones. I’ve now been advised they are out of stock - so now I’m stuck with pans without handles! When ringing ‘customer service’ they advised me in the meantime to buy an alternative! Absolutely APPALLING customer service. Do not waste your money.

Non existent customer service

Had an Air fryer for about 10 months started to have problems with screen. Sent item away for repair & had nothing but problems. Customer service lies to you keep getting told wrong information. Eventually after 8 hours of phone calls they agreed to replace my item as it stands it takes about 5 working days just to get the item dispatched. Then who knows how much longer to get delivered. I’ve not got the item yet but it looks like in total it will be about 5 weeks. Will not buy another product from tefal, customer service is absolutely shocking non existent. If you have any Brains don’t buy tefal products not worth the hassle or the money.

Scam you out of warranty

Absolutely terrible customer service, contacted them within warranty period, sent them photos and proof of postage before warranty ran out, they have been stalling and going back and forth on my issue for nearly 2 months and now have said it’s out of warranty and there’s nothing they can do. Shocking scam. DO NOT recommend this company, way too expensive and terrible quality stuff that doesn’t last.

Tefal' s Tefal Customer Service

I recently bought a Tefal Invention frying pan which subsequently left my hob damaged. I contacted Tefal directly and they speedily blamed customer and retailer rather than take some blame for the terrible labelling on the pan. This in my very humble opinion is not the way to conduct consumer relations policy. The outcome for me has meant I will never buy another Tefal product again and will advise any friends who may be thinking of purchasing a Tefal product that their customer care/service is severely lacking in what you would expect from a supplier of goods to customers who have the choice to choose any other manufacturer.

I love it, best of the best!

I love all my Tefal products, best machines EVER!

They have a really good customerservice. I have an Tefal Actifry machine and when it broke they took care of everything and made it. I did have a warranty so it was expected, but not every company now a days do a quick and good customerservice.
