This platform is highly competitive for freelance testers. Employees must have strong mentalities and reliability to work on this platform. The workload is flexible, but the difficulty level is high. The payout is quite intermediately but suitable for college student

Test.IO is known for its equality and fairness in terms of how almost everything about the company is run. Test IO has granted me an opportunity to take part in crowd testing on her platform irrespective of my region and country's reputation. I'm Nigerian and I must say that it's difficult to find an online job that accepts applicants from my country, but Test IO is leading by example in this field.
I will recommend test IO to anyone willing to earn on the go.
DO NOT WASTE ANY TIME WITH THIS TEST IO this company is not worth it. They send out emails like this Hello Mary Tate,
There is a new Opportunity Real Payment testing opportunity for US testers matching your profile:
Email from them... about getting a testing opportunity today that says..
Ready to participate in test with own credit/debit cards
Um I am not going to give anyone my credit card information or spend money for a test or test with my credit card to a unknown company. Just no.
These are the only type of emails I get from them. The other bug testing. You can NOT make money there so unless you want to waste time learning how to bug test if you don't already know how to or work for free just do not bother with them.

I participated in Testing Cup 2023, I found it to be a good and meaningful program.
It helps people who don't know each other bond together, work together, and improve their skills together.
It's just a pity that if there was an additional badge icon for the first-place team, that would also be a great thing!
I hope there are more competitions like this, thank you organizers and TestIO.
I would say test IO is one of the best platforms in the world. If you're looking for part-time/full-time freelancing opportunities, test IO is the one where all your search ends.

Communication with TLs is seamless, ensuring that you're always on the same page about project requirements. The detailed test instructions and feedback mechanisms help testers deliver high-quality results.
One of the standout features of test IO is the community itself. The Discord community of Testers is incredibly supportive and collaborative. chat channels provide a space for sharing knowledge, seeking advice, and building connections with like-minded individuals. BELIEVE IN TEST IO!
I've had an outstanding experience with testIO! This platform offers a fantastic opportunity for freelance testers to learn and earn. The support and resources provided are top-notch, making it an ideal choice for both beginners and experienced testers. The commitment to quality testing is evident in every project. Kudos to the team at testIO for creating such a valuable platform! Highly recommended for anyone looking to excel in software testing.
I have been a freelance QA tester for test IO for the last 7 months and overall the experience is Great ! The Team Leaders are friendly and provide great guidance. This platform is legit and I earned my first income from this platform. Overall, my 7 months at test IO have been a valuable learning experience, and I look forward to continuing my journey with this platform.
Looks like they provide a few tests a day, but it's almost impossible to get a seat in most of them. It always say "We are sorry, all seats in this test have been taken", even if I try to login as fast as I can.
Also very weird that most of the easy-to-discover bugs are submited immediately by the top testers. As if they had already known...
I have spent many days but haven't ear a penny yet. It's very diaspointing.

Only 1 bug accepted from 20 bugs. Usually they have tons of known bug list that ISNT fixed but u cant submit the same bug. PLUS most of them ONLY accepts high and critical bugs when testing only ONE feature. Sometimes the requirements are 1000 words long and so confusing (not well written enough, leaving gaps to trick you to submit a bug and be rejected). So it's so hard to find a bug worth reporting, and when you did, you get rejected for stupid reasons. I guess it's good for old testers.

Test IO has made the biggest impact in my QA testing career. It's been 1.5 years since I joined Test IO (though not the first testing platform I joined and also not the last). Comparing with other testing platforms (I have joined), Test IO so far has been:
▪ Most transparent: in terms of test invitations and implementation of their academy rules
▪ Most consistent: there's hardly any week without tests, making the earning potential steady, measurable and predictable
▪ Most intriguing: every test participation comes with a keen expectation for successful bug hunting. Prior to start of test, is a countdown suspense and during the test is an unspoken "race-to-the-finish" drive. These create a healthy competitive atmosphere among testers, not to mention the badge awarding system!
Having said these, Test IO however isn't the most perfect testing platform (matter of fact, no platform is: they all have their unique strengths and weaknesses).
Where I would really love Test IO to improve is:
● bug assessment sheet: if this sheet could be revised to cover areas where there are frequent bug disputes, it would help a lot
● bug rejection basis: if Test IO could standardize the bug rejection basis for bugs not reproducible by TLs (but reproducible by Testers), geo-location based bugs, bugs triggered under certain internet connection speeds, etc. it would help a great deal.
It's been 1.5 years with Test IO and I can say over and over again: Test IO is an excellent platform that drills you and brings the best out of you (if you're QA testing on the long-term). Succeed in Test IO and you'll shine in other testing platforms.
I say: "Thank you, thank you, thank you Test IO!". I'm looking forward to contributing more and counting greater achievements as a Tester on your platform.
Test Io is a wonderful platform & community. It is the best testing platform in the world.Testers are really welcomed, every one is a helping hand for each other and with experience testing becomes a mini hobby. Also Test io payouts are good and every one who is part of this platform is glad!
Joining test.io with zero experience was a leap of faith, but the team leaders were incredibly supportive, they nurtured my growth in manual testing, igniting a passion for software quality in me.
In just six months, test.io made me fall in love with technology and computer science. I even took up boot camp alongside testing, expanding my knowledge.
With fair pay and a welcoming tester community, they provided the perfect environment to grow and learn. This journey has been transformative, shaping my career in ways I couldn't have imagined.
If you're an aspiring tester seeking an exciting and life-changing opportunity, this is the place to be.
Poor training and poor work reviews.
Possible scam built around failing valid work (bug) submissions for nonsense reasons - possibly to avoid paying testers for their work...
The training is dire, also possibly to avoid testers meeting their random, unclear standards.
This training is mostly unstructured walls of text with (mostly) unprofessional YouTube videos.
(Some of the videos are decent enough, though)
Test reviews seem opinion based, so one reviewer may pass a section of the submission; while failing others bit.
When resubmitting, a different reviewer then fails sections which have already passed... go figure

Test IO is one of the best sites to gain experience in testing. Familiarity with the site began in December 2021. The first thing we will see is the simple design of the site and the high requirements for filing bug reports.
The first months it may seem that it is too difficult, but if you do not take the time to read the description of the test cycles, the academy (which is constantly updated), and the level of the English language (for writing bug reports), your earning level will be at a low level.
Most of your actions on this platform are well-paid - it's just great. The more effort you put in, the more you earn. This will not be a simple walk - this is the Colosseum of testing (the best will receive nice bonuses).
Is it worth a try? Yes of course. No matter how many positive or negative reviews you read, your experience will always be unique. All you need is basic testing skills (you can take free courses) and never give up after rejecting a few bug reports.
Also, after a full-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine, all testers from Ukraine received financial assistance. It's nice that the platform helps in difficult times, even if it's freelancing.
The only downside of the platform is the high competition between testers. Every day, your level of professionalism will be checked by 200+ testers (if not more). So don't give up after the first failure. Try to work for 6 months and appreciate all the advantages of the platform.
Working on this platform as a tester has been intriguing. Just like every other normal job, it has it's ups and downs which is dependent on you. Testio makes it very convenient to work from wherever you are and their payment is credible. I have been working on this platform over a year now and my experience as a QA tester as drastically improved. From their support to their Team leads, are all amazing 🤩🤩
In addition to providing an additional source of income, it is also a platform that contributes to my full-time job. I learn a lot of new details, albeit little by little, and use it in my full-time job. I am very happy to use this platform.
Of course, there are aspects that I would like to change. For example, we can only receive rewards in cash. It would be nice if payment could be made through various methods such as Amazon gift cardIt would be nice if alternative local payment solutions were produced to avoid paying taxes for places like Turkey where paying taxes is very difficult (gift cards for Turkey's local online websites etc.).
On the other hand, there are strict rules for bugs. If you do not follow these rules, it is very difficult to earn money. It would be nice if the rules could be stretched a little more.
Well I have more than a year working at testio, a company that is always helping the testers, Tls and all its community, always treated me honestly, always pay the testers and is always in constant improvement of the platform, I love working as a tester in this company.
"I've been freelancing with Test.io for about 1.5 years now, and I have to say, it's been a great experience overall. As someone without any software knowledge, the onboarding process was a bit tough for me at first. But once I completed it, I was able to access a lot of work opportunities through Test.io's platform.
What I really appreciate about Test.io is their dedication to helping their freelancers learn and grow. Even though I didn't have any prior experience in software testing, I was able to learn everything I needed to know through their academy articles. They provide a lot of valuable resources and support for their freelancers, which has been instrumental in helping me succeed in this line of work.
Overall, I'm really grateful to Test.io for the opportunities they've provided me and the support they've given me along the way. If you're looking for a reliable platform for software testing freelancing, I would definitely recommend giving Test.io a try."
Test IO, the best platform of testing website and apps. I have a good experience with the platform
