Was treated like a criminal at Texaco Norwood Rd

Was treated like a criminal at Texaco Norwood Rd London SE27 today. Popped in to buy unleaded on my way to drop my child at a piano lesson. A scruffy paper note on the pump said 'pay first' so I went to the cashier. The cashier asked how much I wanted to spend and to see my bank card. Then he said I couldn't pay there and had to use some 'blue' (I think, he was vague) paying point 'other side of pump'. Couldn't find this. Asked another customer where he had paid. He said the cashier had let him use the pump and he thought I could. When I tried I was called to the till over the loud speaker. When I got there and asked why the man in front of me in the queue had been allowed to pay normally and not me, the cashier just shouted 'You can't pay here mam' repeatedly. By this time I was running late for dropping my child to the piano lesson so had to leave with no fuel. Filled up at a Tescos station later, where I was given the option to pay at the till or at the pump and paid without issue or being yelled at. Will never go back to Texacos Norwood Road.

Disgusting customer service. Shouldn't be the case in the UK in 2024

I've tried to wash my car at Texaco petrol station in Sale Moor, Northendon Road, Sale Moor, Manchester, M33 2FE.
The payment machine there takes £2 payments yo give you 2 minutes to use car wash, and then you need to tap your card again. First it worked ok, but after I've spent £4 it stopped taking payment, showing text 'Cash only'. However it's not supposed to take cash. I went to the station shop to ask for assistance, but the assistant only said that it works, declining my words, 'because it worked for the previous customer'. I've tried to explain that it isn't the case and asked the assistant to look at it themselves. But the only answer I've received was 'it works, try again', just denying my words. I've tried 20 times and left the station with half-dirty car covered with car shampoo.. and just spend £4 for nothing.

We washed our car at the Texaco in…

We washed our car at the Texaco in Hendon. The machine that was there was a payment system but it required a code. I went to the guy who was there and asked him to give me the code. He told me "no" that I had to pay again and he went through it 3 times. When I got it at the bank I went to complain and he told me that he wasn't going to give me anything back. After arguing with him and asking for a complaint form or speaking to his boss, he only gave me one payment of 8.99 and told me that the other one would have to be done online. His treatment was the worst, we will not be going back.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Really rude staff at Alderley Edge. They swore at me and accused me of messing up their card machine after I tried to pay by phone tap which failed.

Meal Deal Scam

Walked into the Texaco Petrol Station - The Highway E1W in London

Meal deal clearly states £4 for a drink, crisp and sandwich yet when I got to the counter the guy charged me £4.50 and said the price has gone up I told the guy the price says £4 which is misleading. These guys be putting up the prices whenever they like.

WARNING don't fill up at Lee service station Sidcup Road

I filled up at the Texaco Lee Services on Sidcup Road Lee SE12 I put in £7.27 enough to get me home and when I got back in my car after paying my gauge didn't move. I went back in to tell them I was told to drive it'll be fine. I did but I went back because it didn't change and my gauge had never done that. He refused to give me a refund practically called me a liar and treated me in such a disgusting way. I went to the tesco a few meters away and filled up there without any issues so it's not my car and the guy is still refusing to refund me. I have proof and everything. DON'T USE SIDCUP ROAD LEE SERVICE STATION

The petrol pump registered a sale but my petrol gauge says different

Today I made a purchase from the texaco petrol station on crownhill road Plymouth. It was for £10 at pump number 7. When I drove away I noticed that my fuel gauge had not moved from its previous position and the range display was reading the same as before too. I actually noticed at the time that when I was trying to register the pump from £9.99-£10 it took an absolute age. I went back to the station and explained that I probably knew they wouldn’t do anything but explained everything and I wrote all my contact details down as I was promised a call from the manager. It never happened😡I have a 71 plate Toyota RAV4 and have never had any issues like this before, I know it’s not my car. Something is going on but the worst thing for me is the lack of customer service. I will get my fuel elsewhere in the future

Walkden Lime Service Station Sharp Practices

Texaco Walkden, Manchester.
I spent many months purchasing fuel from this forecourt and on each occasion was given vouchers for their car wash, such that given my mileage and frequency of visits, I secured a great many however, today when once again visiting and spending in excess of £80 I was advised the vouchers were no longer accepted. There was nothing on the voucher to suggest a end coupon date, nor was I ever advised when remitting £1000's of pounds for fuel. To make it worse, the cashier mocked me, believing it funny that I'd give my patronage to them only to find such loyalty, although slightly stimulated by car wash vouchers, all for nothing. I will be taking this up with the CAB as well as Texaco who support this franchise. Steer clear (no pun intended), there are two more fuel stations within 1 mile and another in Worsley.

The East Sheen Texaco rude staff

The East Sheen Texaco has extremely rude and indifferent staff. They give all Texacos a bad name. Their air pumping machine does not last long enough to do all of your tyres, let alone the spare in the boot. If you ask for another token they will laugh in your face

please say hello!!

I Last time went to Texaco petrol station 166 Oldbury Road, I normally fill my car from there when I am in a rush, as everyone knows after 10 pm ask us to pay first, I went inside and I paid, after I tried to fill it up. but unfortunately, that didn't happen, and I got back inside Tom refused to start the pomp and gave me back the money. and said to me I don't like the way you spoke to me, the mysterious part of this story I don't even speak to him I just left the money on the counter and went to fill it up. of course, I could say hello to him and ask about family then please him to start the pomp. I act like this if the person inside does ask me the pump number I wouldn't tell. I think the customers deserve better service as long in the night time you treat them as thefts.

Rude and mean team.

Rude and mean team.
Do visit them if you fancy treated like a garbage.
I visited 3 times to this particular branch on 3 different days and times and face the same problem all 3 times.
I gave them my Texaco loyalty card which they swipe and claimed points have been awarded when receipt clearly mention POINTS NOT AWARDED.
So either they don't know how to do it or they don't want points to be awarded.
But whatever the reason is they still claim first that points are awarded and upon showing points not awarded, will become rude and mean and tell you off by telling you that this is not their problem and contact customer services.
Is it possible that this particular Texaco have issue with points all the time?
Or all the team is un aware how to award the points?
Or there is another motive not to award points to anyone?
Whatever the reason is the team is for sure need to be trained and taught to treat customers well.
