pursued by debt collectors for a car parking charge WHILE I WAS USING THEIR FACILITIES
Went to Texaco garage St Katherine's docks, used the facilities to clean my car and then shopped in the shop. All in all i was there for around 20 mins, using the facilities the entire time. Months later i was sent threatening letters from a debt collection agency for a car parking charge incurred whilst actually paying to use their facilities. Find this practice pretty disgraceful. They will not countenance an appeal. I believee this was simply incompetence on their part, as if a deliberate mistake would amount to a fradulent scam and i am sure this not the case
Thieving Company Texaco - avoid like the plague
Filled up my car at a Texaco garage two days ago, decided at the same time to buy 20 cigarettes. They are charging £15 for a pack!!! I get the same brand at most supermarkets for £11.83, and even corner shops near me charge £12.10.
Avoid this petrol station and shop elsewhere. An absolute con. Hopefully thousands of people will see this review and decide to take their business elsewhere. Competition is all about beating other shops prices….a concept lost on Texaco! Please if you read this, heed my advice and shop elsewhere.
Parking Scam, Avoid Parking here!!
Scam asking me to pay 100 for parking 1 minute.
Coffee tastes like soap.
Decided to treat myself for a Costa coffee on one of this stations in Bristol. The machine didn’t fill the cup fully, and the coffee tasted like soap. The cashier informed me that they don’t offer refunds or exchanges, mentioning that the ‘coffee in a cup looks fine’ to them. Very disappointed. I think Costa should reconsider working with Texaco, they are lovering the brand value for a customer.
Texaco service station killay Swansea
Went in to texaco service station killay swansea to buy some mince pies today (boxing day). They were marked as £1.99. The assistant scanned them and said £3.99 (the price didn't show on the till)... totally taking advantage. Don't buy from this rip off shop.
I was sold counterfeit tobacco at yhe…
I was sold counterfeit tobacco at the Texeco Station in Walkden, Manchester M28. Was accused by the owner of making it up although I paid by debit card! reported them to Texeco, Imperial tobacco are also aware and Trading Standards have requested the Tobacco serial numbers which Imperial have already confirmed has a fake barcode.
Texaco petrol station
Texaco petrol station, Rochdale Road, Blackley, Manchester. VERY DODGY employees, personally saw staff members hide when police pulled up to get petrol. Sell by dates on many many products conveniently have parts scratched away. Zero manners or customer service and a camera looking down on the card machine. AVOID. CLOSE DOWN!!
Texaco garage Cockfosters…
I live walking distance from the Texaco garage in Cockfosters. It would be very convenient for me to get fuel, shop and drop of parcels there but I now chose to go anywhere else because of the consistently unpleasant, abrasive attitude of both the man and woman staff there. I have tried starting every interaction with 'good morning or afternoon' and today tried my best to understand his attitude, but I now give up and will avoid going there. So unnecessary for them to be so unpleasant :(
Texaco are scammers!!!
Texaco are scammers!!!
I had £100 worth of points on the card and they took them off me and refuse to give them back.. I will never fuel up with them again.
Waste of time!!
Waste of time!!! Card doesn't work advertise to use app spent a ridiculous amount for the machine to not work AGAIN...Back to tesco I go...their loyalty card at least works!!!

Went to the Stafford Texaco along the A518 with a star rewards £5 paper voucher redeemable at any Texaco garage, not at this one,the muppet behind the counter point blank refused to accept it,re training urgently required will never buy fuel here again

The petrol station shop Whalley road…
The petrol station shop Whalley road clitheroe is a lovely clean well stocked and was a pleasure to browse and shop
Very dodgy!!
Used the petrol station to fill up £78 worth of diesel on Thursday, checked my bank statement today to see they have charged me twice!!!!
Went back to the garage, to be told that they would only authorise one transaction and that it wouldn't have gone through twice but yet its right infront of me on my bank! Told me to contact my bank. Tried to call Texaco customer service to constantly be going to a voicemail and being asked to leave a message as all representatives are busy. Will be taking this further and also never using Texaco again!!
Texaco A449 wallheath just greedy & immoral
Went to texaco wallheath on A449 but noticed the prices are way higher than anywear in the area so just put a small.ammount and filled up elswhere, I'd rather give the fiver I saved to charity than somebody who's manipulating the situation to line their own pockets. When I said to the cashier who I can only describe as Harry brown Potter! Why is your fuel price so high there's no need to rip people off he just laughed in my face and said "more money than sense round here"
The star reward system is a joke
The prices are unreasonably high. And the Texaco star rewards system is a complete joke (read 'scam' if you would). The star card needs to be swiped after the payment has gone through - only most of the time the card or the app on the phone won't swipe or register. Even when I collected enough points for a measly £5 voucher - it never arrived. So, after using the star reward card for purchasing £1000+ worth of fuel, I have had not a single penny worth of benefit.
I have started getting my fuel elsewhere now, even though it means I have to go a longer distance for that.
very incompetent staff as most doesn't…
very incompetent staff as most doesn't ask for rewards, the time u tell them they said its already been charge and they cant re do anymore, and some they say the reader doesnt work. What i think is majority of them they are not train or know how to operate the till…please train ur staff and tell them to Do Not Forget The Reward card…
Avoid if you can!
Avoid if you can - I scanned a bar code for their app at a Texaco petrol station and was taken to a site where I apparently subscribed to a company that charges £1.50 for notifications and received 3 to tell me that! Bang £4.50 in a morning. Luckily I saw the messages and cancelled as soon as I could. Texaco must accept responsibilty for allowing these sites to use its bar codse as an entry point to scam people! Shameful that a company its size will allow this!
