Diminishing value, price gouging
My subscription no longer includes historical auction price information. This benefit was suddenly removed. Now a significant additional fee is requested. Also, details of my acquisitions disappear after a certain time. The entire point is to maintain a record of lots won with pictures. This is increasingly a poor value service for me.

It’s far too easy to place a legally binding bid by mistake! I didn’t even enter card details but got approved to join a live auction and as I was attempting to scroll down the page on my mobile, clicked “bid” by mistake. There was no clear indication on the button itself of the price of the bid but I absolutely can’t afford it. It’s shocking that this is so easy to do!

Amersham Auctions/The Saleroom
Amersham Auctions, bought Olympic medals 3 years ago for 580 GBP. Never received the medals, and got 20 GBP as refund. After few years waiting won auction of 80 GBP, a cap, they ask 80 GBP shipping, got expelled by The Saleroom because I don't want to pay 80 GBP shipping. I placed bids for over 10 years and gave them ten thousands of fees. Once I didn't pay and they expell me ??

I bought a bedspread from Aldriges of…
I bought a bedspread from Aldriges of Bath auction. I was told to contact their partners for the delivery service who are auction logistics and work with them. I was given a quote for £66.00, a huge amount for one bedspread which cost much less than the delivery. The week before I had purchased another bedcover to come to the same address from an auction house in Milnthorp Cumbria who are superb, after you buy from them they notice you are some miles away and add on postage which came to £14.00.
I will never buy from Aldriges of Bath, auction house ever again. I feel that The Saleroom needs to know of what is happening to the buyer who bids through their site.

Auction Revolution London Sell Fake Items
Auction Revolution Ltd London sells high end luxury watches and parts or that is what you would think. I purchased several luxury branded items to when I received them they were fakes… I contacted James from Auction Revolution who wasn’t very interested even though I sent them back to him to inspect he still hasn’t replied. I would not buy from them again and if you have check your items as they may not be the real deal….

Bought items via online platform, thinking they are set up for these transactions. It took 3 weeks to provide a quote for shipping and then when the lot eventually arrived it it was so badly packed it was many parts were loose in the box. Never again!
