⚠️ SCAM — Do not use this service
I paid for a VPS (Aluminium[AM]) that was never set up properly. When I asked for a refund, they refused to return my money unless I completed a "KYC verification" — which included sending a selfie holding my passport and a handwritten note with the word "THE" on it. This was never mentioned in their terms at the time of payment.
This is not a standard KYC procedure used by any legitimate financial institution. It is a data collection scheme designed to obtain personal identity documents under the guise of a refund process.
I have filed a chargeback with my bank and reported this to the relevant authorities. All correspondence has been saved.
Avoid this company.

I strongly advise avoiding the.hosting, especially if you plan to use their servers for personal VPNs.
I purchased a server in Moldova, which worked for two weeks before the IP was completely blacklisted. Hoping to fix the issue, I bought a new server in Albania. The IP for the Albanian server was completely dead (blocked) from the very first minute. This means they are actively selling IPs that are already blacklisted and unusable out of the box.
When I contacted their technical support with solid proof (server logs, speedtests showing the server had internet but no inbound connection), their response was an absolute joke. They literally told me to "try connecting to your server via VPN". Why would I use a third-party VPN to connect to my own VPN node? It shows a complete lack of technical understanding.
I didn’t even ask for a refund to my credit card. I simply asked for a one-time IP replacement or to cancel the dead servers and credit my internal account balance so I could buy a different location that actually works. The "sales department" flat-out refused, blamed my local ISP, and kept my money for a service I couldn't use for a single second.
They do not care about customer retention or providing a working service. They sell defective IPs, refuse to fix them, and hide behind their "no refund" policy. Save your money and go to a provider that actually respects its customers.

I purchased a VPS server, and after the payment the activation process got stuck.
After contacting the support they said that there was no free resources and offered to wait. I requested a refund and they refused, stating I needed to go to identity verification first. So they can charge your card without identity verification, but cannot refund, go figure. Looks like a scam to me, I'll request a chargeback from my bank.
I'm stating it again specifically to The.hosting - if you can charge my card without KYC, you can refund without KYC too (i have multiple businesses and I know how that works). So do not lie to me and to other customers.
You employ a scam tactics by charging and refusing to refund, that's plain and simple. You are not a financial institution to KYC your customets. Nobody in their sane mind will share their ID with you, and that's exactly your plan to extort money.

I deposited 25 EUR into this service and bought servers, only to find out that their IP subnets are "dirty" and blacklisted everywhere. Nothing works. The support team is completely unhelpful, giving nothing but excuses instead of fixing the issue.
After a long struggle, they finally "replaced" two servers, but only one of them actually activated. I specifically took a server in Moldova, but it’s just as useless as the others—blocked everywhere.
To top it off, they refuse to provide any kind of refund because I paid with cryptocurrency, which is basically their way of stealing your money. I have essentially gifted them 25 EUR for absolutely nothing in return.
Be very careful and check the reputation of this service before you buy. Don’t make the same mistake I did. This company is a scam.
YOU ASK SUPPORT TICKET, ITS 884130
BTW I ORDER ARMENIAN SERVER A WEEK AGO ITS STILL "ACTIVATION IN PROGRESS" BUT U CHARGE MONEY... BUT IDC BECAURCE EVEN IF I GET THE SERVER ITS STILL DONT WORK... AND YOU DONT CARE
upd
i wait for a server for 12 days and i ask to cancel my order but u decide to charge my money and give me the server which i dont need. ticket id 886986
i warn every one to be very careful don't send much money there. do a test.

Stay Away from this scam..
I have been a loyal client of The.hosting for two years, but my recent experience has been a nightmare. Out of nowhere, they suspended my VPS—which hosts live production systems—for a random KYC check.
Even after I successfully completed the KYC and verified my identity, they refused to reactivate my server. Instead, a staff member (John Constantine) told me my account was "permanently blocked" without any valid justification.
When I pressed for a reason, they pointed to a compromised WordPress site on the server (a security issue I had already acknowledged and offered to fix). Instead of following standard industry protocols—like giving me temporary access to clean the site or backup my data—they chose to shut down my entire infrastructure and hold my data hostage.
The support is slow, unprofessional, and shows a complete lack of understanding for "Production" environments. They are currently ignoring my requests for data export, effectively killing my business operations.
Avoid this provider if you care about your data and business continuity. They will shut you down without notice and block your access even after you prove your identity.

I’ve been using THE.Hosting for a short time and my experience has been mixed. The setup process was simple and the pricing seems reasonable.
The service works fine most of the time, but I did notice some instability on a few occasions. Support responded when I contacted them, although it wasn’t always immediate.
Overall, it’s okay for basic use.
Used it for almost a month, tried argentum first, and it was worth it? solid bandwidth, perfomance and really responsive support.
Mostly used for wireguard based vpn for gaming, never had a problem with it.
I dont know why this services rating is so low, i really love it.

Avoid. They take crypto payments for 'In Stock' servers that are actually out of stock, then refuse to refund when they can't deliver.

"Scam! They sell VPS in locations they don't have in stock (Armenia). When you pay with crypto, they refuse to refund your money to your wallet, locking it on their internal balance and forcing you to use services you don't need. Order # Ferrum[AM] #4990136. Support simply quotes their rules to steal money."

Scam. They don't accept european phone numbers, their verification form just doesn't accept them, support says "just use another number". Ticket #879969.

I passed KYC using biometrics, I confirmed my email and mobile phone several times because they asked for it, I bought a VPS, 18 hours have passed, but they still haven’t activated it.
"At the moment, the demand for equipment has increased significantly. We don't have time to add equipment in proportion to the growing demand.
You can wait for the service to be issued or choose another location."
He dont have time, he cant add 1VCPU and 1GB RAM
You're such hypocrites. Like you can't check if you have a user from AM named Harutyun with this problem? My order 4947761, It's been 4 days and I still haven't received what I paid for.

I used this hosting service for a few months until they required KYC. The KYC process didn’t work (I tried to upload a photo of my ID, but their app marked it as “Unrecognized”), so I ended up losing access to my VDS. Support kept saying that “everything works fine.”
I’ve used many cloud providers, and none of them required uploading an ID like this. It wouldn’t surprise me if this hosting provider used the submitted scans for fraudulent purposes.
I strongly do not recommend this hosting service.

I purchased two VPS servers from this provider. Both instances were repeatedly unstable and became unreachable multiple times per day.
The servers were disconnecting from the network and becoming unavailable for several minutes at a time. I verified the issue by deploying an identical setup with another hosting provider using the same internet connection — the alternative VPS works perfectly stable. This confirms the issue was not related to my ISP or regional restrictions.
Despite this, the provider refused to issue a refund, stating that they “cannot influence country restrictions,” even though the problem was clearly specific to their infrastructure.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this provider due to instability and lack of customer-oriented resolution.

I’ve been using THE.Hosting for about three months now to host a few KVM VPS instances for a personal project and a small game server. Overall, the technical performance is impressive for the price point
Signed up as an affiliate, drove sales that paid for my servers, earnings not added to my account for 2 months. When I questioned them, they added ONE DAY on my servers, said the issue will be resolved, issue wasn't resolved, all my servers suspended. The.Hosting which is actually PQHosting, a Russian owned business that got a bad reputation changed their name to The.Hosting and are still as shockingly bad as always!
To The.Hosting's reply "As of May 29, 2025, PQ.Hosting rebranded and transitioned all assets, infrastructure, and services to THE.Hosting"
You deleted my account, invoices, order numbers etc.

Company is not that bad. You get what you pay for.
I strongly advise against using this hosting service. One day, without any warning, they completely shut down power to my server, leaving it fully inaccessible. They provided no explanation, no details about what happened, and not even an estimated time for when the service might be restored.
Their support only says vague things like “please wait,” but gives no real information. This is completely unacceptable for any hosting provider, especially if you rely on your server for business.
If you need a reliable hosting service — this is definitely not the one! Extremely poor experience!

Reply from THE.Hosting
I used it for 1 year and 6 months, it was great. But after changing to the.hosting they are terrible. Even their servers are slower.
PQ.Hosting were beasts! the.hosting are terrible. They suspend, they don't even refund the funds.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM, NEVER AGAIN!

Reply from THE.Hosting
Extremely slow upload speeds on a VPS server. During normal working hours the upload speed of their VPS servers can be as low as 2Mbps and averaging around 5Mbps. Their support was helpful (reason for 2 stars) and stated that there is an issue but there is no ETA for a fix. They know there is a problem with their infrastructure but are still selling it. They don't want to provide a refund either.
They will close you on a false accusation
Later they might ask ... also, their email notifications do not work ...
