This is the worst company ever
This is the worst company ever. There are many lawsuits against this company because they are a scam. The “manager” got my phone call and promised me that his wife died a few years ago, he felt bad I had a stroke and ensured me my move wouldn’t cost more than 2k total, including packing, shipping, unloading and materials. The day of the move after they collected $900, another company shows up. I’m already gone out of state, then I cannot get ahold of this company, but the other company says all of that was a lie we need more money but only another 1900 total for it all. I agree but am now hesitant. I agree to write a check, but said I will not agree to cash it until they arrive with my stuff. Weeks go by, they cannot tell me where my stuff is let alone when I’ll get it. Then out of the blue they call me and say we won’t deliever your stuff until you pay us another 2k. Meanwhile they cashed my check and used another banks back of check to deposit my check. This time they want cash or cashier check. They show up, stuff damaged, stole 3500 between both companies now but says they will not unload it without the 2k cashier check in their hand. I had no choice but pay them because all my stuff was right there in a truck outside my house after weeks of never knowing I would see my stuff. I filed a complaint with my bank, both attorney generals, yelp and many people reached out saying the same thing happened to them. They are all a scam and have many reviews of doing this same thing to every single costumer. DO NOT USE this company. One day they will go down for doing this to so many people because many of them hired lawyers to get their money back for scamming them out of thousands of dollars.
BEWARE...BAIT AND SWITCH
BEWARE...BAIT AND SWITCH!
I have no idea how they have a 5-star rating.
1. 3 Brothers did not do the move, they contracted with another moving company - they did not disclose that information. During the reservation, they told me that "their employees" were drug tested and background checks completed. However, their employees did not show up for the move.
2. We did a comprehensive video walk-through when booking of all the items that would be moved and the price was set, to include items in a storage unit. However, when the "movers" arrived they told me that I had too much and that I would have to pay an additional $2,200 on the spot.
3. On the day of pick-up, the movers were scheduled to arrive between 8 am and 10 am - but did not arrive until 12:30 pm and never contacted us that they would be late. This caused a huge amount of stress; I had two friends with me so we could clean the apartment after the move so we sat for five hours waiting on the movers. On the day of delivery, they set the time frame for delivery between 7 am and 9 am but did not arrive until after 10:30 am.
4. The movers refused to pack the dresser mirrors or TV without additional cost - all packing was covered in the contract. We removed the mirrors from the dressers and packed them ourselves - but I didn't get money back for that. We put the TV in my car, they were contracted to move it, but I did not get reimbursed for that.
Run.
Choose anyone else. I was contacted by Joseph G. He’s an excellent salesperson, truly the shadiest in the business! He told me that the company had a truck in my state and they would not be brokering out my particular move, he told me my contract was binding and the price would not be exceeded, that the movers would be bringing only my shipment, would be coming straight to my state and would take 3-5 business days to arrive. When I addressed the numerous terrible reviews, he brushed them under the rug, blaming customer negligence. That should have been the ultimate red flag, but with a binding contract (he put in the price, amount of items to be moved, included that the movers were not to have access to my belongings during transit, and the estimated arrival date) I figured I was relatively safe. Day of the move, a group of random guys in an unmarked truck arrived, and up charged me by $1000. I told Joe we would have between 20-30 large boxes, he let me know he could not choose the size and write that we had 40 boxes just in case, and I was up charged regardless. When I called the customer service department to try and cancel, the person that answered just laughed, told me the was no way I would get my $1000 deposit back, and hung up on me. The movers elected to repackage some of our items, after complimenting how thorough we were in packing our belongings, coincidentally these were the only things broken. They then left without explaining when the move would arrive or any other details, despite my asking. I called the movers for an update after 10 days, and was told my belongings were sitting in a storage unit, while they waited on a truck. After this call, the movers blocked my number so I had no one to get in touch with. My belongings showed up after three weeks, the driver came in an eighteen wheel semi truck, and threatened to charge up another $1000 because he couldn’t turn around his semi truck. We were forced to Zelle multiple different companies including 1st Start Movers, Dependable Moving, and Adam’s moving and Storage. They only had one mover there to help (who was wonderful, our best interaction throughout the experience), and when he finished doing everything by himself, the driver came upstairs to complain about his tip (after sitting in the truck watching the mover break his back by himself). Both of our tv’s were broken, everything in the box the movers packaged is destroyed, several high value items are missing, and because the movers operated under four different “sister companies” no one will return my calls or my money. Do yourself a favor, rent a u-haul and do it yourself, or search for a local moving company. Do not hire these Florida based scammers.

Do not use
Do not use. Scam. As others have said, I received a quote (based on cubic feet, which apparently is illegal), and paid a deposit by e-check which was described as refundable in 72 hours. They did not mention they are a broker. I then received a bill of lading with fine print indicating they would subcontract the job to a mover with horrible reviews under state investigation. I notified in writing I wanted to cancel within the 72 hours and got a message they would “send the refund to accounting!” Never responded to another message. Stole my deposit. Hope this avoids someone else experiencing the same fraud.
I was given a very attractive price for…
I was given a very attractive price for a move and the gentleman I spoke to was friendly and appeared to give me a good deal. The red flag came when I was asked to give them a $2000 deposit, and digitally sign an e-check. At the time, I was in a narrow window to get a moving company hired. So I signed, but then got nervous, did a bit more research and found out that they are a broker, not a moving company. Plus, serendipitously, got a call from our realtor saying an issue had arisen with the sale of our home and we would need to put things on hold for awhile. So I called right back and spoke with Nick, I think. He called into question the fact that i was lying about the house sale not going through and that because of the reviews I had read, that was the reason I cancelled. He was snarky and rude. I said I just wanted to cancel and he assured me the e-check I just signed would not be cashed. I called my bank to alert them to the issue and to stop payment on the check. All was well for two weeks, then I got an email from Sarah in the same company saying I needed to sign the bill of lading, and I responded that we had put our move on hold, and would no longer need their services. Yesterday I checked my back account, and the e-check has indeed been signed and cashed. So am working with my bank, who will report them, as I will do too, with BBB and the Florida state attorney general's office. STAY AWAY FROM 3 BROTHERS! Scammers, liars, cheats.
Update: The reply from 3brothers is yet another LIE! There has been NO refund to my bank account from them as of this date December 23, 2023. 😡 MY bank kindly refunded money to my account based on 3brothers fraudulent activity, but nothing from 3brothers to rectify their unscrupulous and dishonest methods. My review stands. There needs to be a refund from 3Brothers to my account so I can refund the bank. 3Brothers still has $2000 that doesn’t belong to them😡

When I asked 3 brothers for refund they said they already spent my down payment, All I want is my last payment of $1912.02 as of yet I have not received any of my money back. BEWARE OF THIS MOVING COMPANY
BEWARE OF THIS MOVING COMPANY! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!
When we first contacted 3 Brothers Moving & Storage and arranged a preliminary move date, we expressed our concern that the sale of our home had not been finalized and that we needed flexibility if we needed to cancel. Nicholis Moretti, who claimed to be the “man in charge” (who we have come to find out is a mere representative) assured us that this would not be an issue and that we could move the date or cancel without penalty. To further give us comfort, we conferenced in my husband (a lawyer) on the call where Nick said the same. Nick even went on to say that although the cancellation says X, he was in charge, and we could cancel anytime if need be. After we were both convinced that there was no risk in cancellation and that Nick was the man in charge, we offered to provide a credit card number for the deposit. Nick said that they don't take credit cards because in the past, they had been frauded by people who had completed a move, didn't pay, and cancelled their credit cards. Because of that, Nick asked us for payment directly from our checking account. Innocently, we thought that their business was reputable, that Nick was able to keep his word, and that they wouldn't attempt to STEAL our money.
Unfortunately, for no fault of ours, our buyer pulled out of our deal, and we immediately contacted Nick to cancel our move. He instructed me to contact customer service via text and passed me off. What happened to being “the man in charge” who would take care of us? After numerous emails, Sarah in customer service denied our refund and another associate told me that not only we would not receive a refund, we also could not use it for any future moves. They basically STOLE $1,300 from us.
We have tried to call numerous times without returned calls, have been hung up on by several minions who answered the calls, and have sent a demand letter insisting that we are refunded.
After doing further research on Yelp of 3 Brothers Moving & Storage, it is evident that they are serial abusers of their customers and have STOLEN money from many. Check out these quotes:
“PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS. THEY ALL ARE THE SAME FOR A REASON. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE! I DON’T KNOW HOW THIS COMPANY HASN’T BEEN SHUTDOWN.”
“FRAUD ALERT! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, ONCE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, YOU CAN’T GET AHOLD OF ANYONE.”
“BEWARE! FRAUD ALERT! IT’S A SCAM! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.”
In addition, they have received 18 complaints to the Better Business Bureau in 2023 (and they only have opened for business since 2021.
We will be taking legal action, as well as reporting their FRAUDULATE behavior to the following organizations: Google, Yelp, Facebook, Better Business Bureau, Winter Park Maitland Observer, WKMG, Move.org, Mymovingreviews, Trustpilot, etc. and are informing local realtors to communicate to their clients to stay away from these frauds. Please know that you have been warned. STAY AWAY!

Would do again
Both movers, to and from were amazing, quick, careful, and walked me through the process. Additionally, Mr. Anthony was an amazing help, he also walked me through each step, answered his phone for any questions I might’ve had regardless of the time, and continuously updated me throughout the whole process!
I DO NOT recommend using 3 Brothers…
I DO NOT recommend using 3 Brothers Moving & Storage. It's a bait and switch team. First, I specifically asked at the outset were they acting as a broker and would ultimately farm out the project to another mover. They said they made their own moves and the property would arrive in 7 days. Those ultimately turned out to be lies. They got an extravagant service fee and then had some other mover do the job, something which I would have never paid them for, and now the new mover says furniture arrival in up to 21 days. Furthermore, 3 Brothers did not even return phone calls and an email in response to my inquiries the day before the new mover showed up. They also totally underestimated my ultimate charges, and the Mover they had contact me, Brooklyn Moving, Inc., did not contact me until the morning of the actual move, and reviews show
Brooklyn Moving has a terrible history of stolen customer items in transit according to reviews. They came up with hidden or excessive fees, and this nightmare will have its outcome by the end of November it seems. I stand behind this assessment.
Possibly more to come here once, if ever, my furniture arrives. DO NOT USE 3 BROTHERS and I stand behind this!
Thank you!

THEIR A SCAM
THEIR A SCAM. Scott called speaking like they’re moving our stuff, and turns out they are a broker.
They sent another trash moving company, that made made it look like they filled the whole truck. The people that moved our items were not professional movers, they were 2 random guys, they didn’t bring our couch in, broke some
Items because they kept dropping them, broke light fixtures in house, stole a gold chain. DO NOT USE THEM, im going on every review I can, I even ordered post cards to mail out in Texas to not use these people. They deserve to go out of business.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
This is a broker company, not a moving company. They do no due diligence on the companies they broker you out to and will not take responsibility for any issues you have with the carrier. My move was from TX to SC. I don't have enough space to write all the issues I had with this move so this is only a summary!
• Upon my search for movers, I received a call from Scott, who was misleading to say the least. The notion that he would be a part of the process from the time of booking until items are delivered is the furthest thing from the truth. Once my initial deposit was received, I spoke with him only once (t3 days prior to my move), despite phone calls and emails sent. I am not sure why they ask you for a pickup date and delivery date when the company they broker you out to will remind you that they have 21 days from the date of pick-up to deliver your items.
• I would also suggest obtaining a copy of every document signed at the time signed. If it is not saved, the link will no longer be available once items are picked up.
• I am very interested in speaking to those who received 5-star service to confirm if those persons have verified services. If you go to mymovingreviews.com site, they have a disclosure that states non-genuine reviews for this business was originated from the same IP address or computer.
Be sure to understand and read the contract in detail.
Do not plan your moving details based upon when the driver is supposed to pick up and deliver because it will not be accurate. Both pickup and delivery was late and did not arrive on the scheduled day. It took me 3 weeks of frustration after delivery to get reimbursed for a tv that was initially lost then damaged. 3 Brothers will argue that they are just the broker, but this is not how they sell the service to you. The customer service manager is unprofessional and will try to argue some points but won't recognize the fact that the salesman Scott misled me and did not return my calls or emails. I have never dealt with such a business and would not recommend them to move a doghouse!

Imagine a place where liars and thieves meet to plan what the next scams will be like. Well, this is a simple morning in this company. If you value your money and mental health, stay away from this rat's nest.
After reading their response to my post I need to edit so here goes: Imagine a place where liars (I said the correct number of items) and thieves (Two bags didn't arrive and they blame others instead of trying to resolve) meet to plan what the next scams will be like. Well, this is a simple morning in this company. If you value your money and mental health, stay away from this rat's nest.

SCAM!!!!!!
SCAM! Do not use! Held my stuff hostage unless I paid more money, did not provide me actual movers so me and the truck driver had to unload my stuff. Left half my things in the hallway when they picked it up and were about to drive off and didn't tell me they didn't finish loading. Management was rude and beyond unhelpful. WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! LUKE THOMAS and JOE in particular were the worst. They lied, refused to answer phone calls, completly ghosted after contract was signed. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, YOU WILL REGRET!!!

If you want to pay triple then hire this group
They said they would be able to load my home- they said they would charge under uhaul pods; same space. Charged me over 3k… on pickup charged extra and left over half my home (costing me 4k to get the rest). Knowing I had disabilities they manipulated- I mentioned this many times the numbers didn’t seem to match- gave them a 10x10x10 average they gave me about 450 cubic feet . When I tried to have this corrected they just wanted to add more and more. Refused to listen to their tapes, refused to fix the situation. Their management is beyond abusive (to the point my ex got quite upset / and seriously he has never been a man to stick up for me so that says something. They said they handled the whole move / NO THEY DONT! I even questioned this when I was told they were as scan but it was too late for me! Sent a whole different moving company (that I did not call directly and hire myself for a reason). I was told “pay them and use it or lose the 1300 dollar deposit) - this is 3 months of my paychecks as I’m disabled… can’t afford to lose it. On pickup I was charged more; and on drop off now (it’s the day before and I’m getting calls asking for 509 more now- it’s Saturday and the bank I have is out of state how can I get that now? They don’t take cash or debit / only wire and l/or cashiers checks- not a wire on delivery either so only a cashiers check ) That company has charged about 1/4 more on top if what I was quoted!! and I STILL DON’T EVEN HAVE MY STUFF!!
Extremely unprofessional staff. Refuse to let you talk to the management. Refuse to correct the issues. Just refuse to follow though with their words and promises…
I will tell everyone I care about to NOT use these people - they are basically a “ legal “ scam artist.
So, I guess if you wanna pay triple hire them - but that’s about it - crappy service, crappy everything -
Maybe eventually I’ll get my belongings - once I find another 600 dollars or so and unload it myself -
if you have had the same experience you should report to the BBB so they stop lying, manipulating and hurting people -

HORRIFIC Service and Manipulation - Must Read
When I say this was the worst customer service and moving experience of my life, I mean that in every capacity. I recently moved from Minnesota to NYC and did not have a lot of notice. I had called around to several moving companies to see if anyone would be able to move me on short notice. When I spoke with Kevin at 3 Brothers Moving, he assured me over and over that they would successfully move me by the necessary date. About two weeks later, the day before my belongings were to be delivered to my new address, I called 3 Brothers to double check that everything was in order to be delivered the next day. The man I spoke with told me that not only would it not be delivered the next day, it had not even left Minnesota and they had 30 days to deliver it at a window of their convenience. I was lied to and manipulated over the phone so that they could get a sale. When I spoke with customer service and explained the promises Kevin had made me, they acted as though I was crazy and making it up. Once my things were finally delivered weeks later, the man who moved my things to my new apartment broke my $1100 dining table. It is understandable that things break in a move. He told me I could file a claim with the company to get a replacement. They also lost my $200 desk chair. So that day, I filed a claim to replace both the dining table and the chair. Having over $1300 in product loss and damage, not including the cost for moving, was disappointing but I assumed there would be a resolution. The claim took over a month to come back to me and 3 Brothers decided to offer me an insulting $75 compensation. I lost over a thousand dollars in items because of their negligence and I could not even replace one item lost with what they were willing to give me. It felt as though this was their finale to spit in my face after months of horrific service and manipulation.

Do not move with this company!
This company will quote you one price and then charge you another price! I basically had to pay an additional $1700 or they would not deliver my furniture. My furniture was not delivered until three weeks later although I was told it would be delivered on a specific date. My furniture was damaged and they never even assembled my bed. This was the worst moving experience ever for me. Do not move with this company!
