The DVDs work (because they are Verbatim) and I can't tell if the cable is genuine or not because Apple don't put little logos on theirs any more but, more importantly, my iPhone can't tell either.

Good experience, fast delivery and courteous support
I ordered a couple of items (USB cable and watch batteries) from the cable place via Rakuten and the order was shipped very quickly. I did have a slight query over the items as a different brand battery was sent out. Both were of comparable quality/brand name and the cable place responded very quickly to my email and offered 10% off my order. So I can't really fault the support and shopping experience.
I would definitely use the Cableplace again in the future and would reccomend them too.
