I regret to say that our experience…

I regret to say that our experience with this seamstress was deeply disappointing. The alteration she performed on my daughter's dress was completely botched. The seam where the bodice meets the skirt was left with unsightly rolls, making the dress look amateurish at best.

My daughter had to visit several times to address these issues a week before the wedding, yet the seamstress consistently made her feel like a burden. She managed to make my daughter feel incredibly self-conscious about her body[Bride is size 10], even reducing her to tears during one visit. The seamstress's behavior was shockingly unprofessional; she actually slapped my daughter's hands away when she tried to point out the issues, and yelled at her for simply moving to see what was being pointed out.

Blaming my daughter's undergarments for the dress's poor fit was absurd and disrespectful. She even snapped my daughter's knickers, which is completely unacceptable. Rather than taking responsibility for her mistakes, she repeatedly dismissed suggestions to fix the issues, all while making inappropriate comments about my daughter's body.

Even when my daughter accidentally pricked herself with a pin, causing a small bleed, the seamstress callously insisted it wasn't bleeding and later blamed a spot on the dress on this nonexistent blood. Her behavior culminated in asking if my daughter was neurodivergent, a question completely out of line.

The other owner's lack of intervention was equally disappointing. Despite the seamstress's clear mistreatment of my daughter, the owner did nothing to rectify the situation or offer any comfort. This lack of accountability is even more egregious considering it's apparently not the first time such issues have been raised in reviews.

Overall, our experience with this seamstress and the establishment was nothing short of a nightmare. They failed to make my daughter feel special during what should have been an exciting time, instead subjecting her to rudeness, insensitivity, and body shaming. This place deserves every bit of its poor reviews and more.
