All was good apart from not being contacted to say my glasses were ready; I had to phone them after hearing nothing for over 4 weeks, only to be told that my glasses were ready for collection. They ha... See more

Great staff professional to the highest standard
I came in with my mother to boots Boston , she is unable to speak English , she had an eye test at at specsavers , but wanted to find frames she really liked, we explained this , a lady who on meeting seemed lovely but seemed to lose interested as we where taking a while , she mentioned her upcoming wedding and we enjoyed that chat , then on sitting down looked at the time and ,, seemed to want to rush after we mentioned being on benifits , my mother could see the ladies disinterest, and felt upset , we got the glasses , spent more than wanted , the small brunette lady , made our experience at boots Boston terrible
Lichfield boots opticians were amazing, very helpful and a great laugh. They treated the kids amazingly. Mand and Joe massive shout out to two people who actaully take pride in their work and making people smile.
On my recent visit to Boots opticians in Christchurch I was welcomed in a very friendly manner almost like being a family member. The staff were excellent at reducing any fears that I may have had and I was certainly put at total ease very quickly.i was then introduced to Namrata Narsi the lady that would carry out my eye test, wow what a professional lady each step was fully explained to me in a way that I fully understood, The care and way I was treated was absolutely fantastic, If any person reading this review is due an eye test then you will not do any better than visiting this branch and in particular Namrata then believe me you will not find anyone better anywhere. A really brilliant experience was had by me.
Boots Hanley opticians
Great service today from initial tests when we arrived, through to Catherine who helped me pick my glasses.
Excellent service would recommend to all
Avoid Lancaster Boots Opticians, they don’t tell you when eye tests or contact lense checks are due and then withhold contact lenses that have been paid for. Totally incompetent and inefficient
korran humphreys was really good would really recommendation the service was good would go back again Manchester boots
Visited Boots Opticians in Ely to look at getting some prescription sunglasses.
Nina was extremely friendly, helpful and polite. She was knowledgeable about the products and gave me great advice on the style of glasses that suited me.
Great customer service 👏
Staff were helpful and efficient. Everything was explained clearly and I felt confident in their hands.
I visited my local Boots opticians in Strood Kent last week to have an eye test. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They explained things in great detail and advised accordingly. Thanks to, Dawn, Claire, Nathan, Judith and of course Alan "The Slayer" Slater for all their help.
I was on a recent trip to London and during my stay one of the lenses of my Specsavers glasses fell out. I found that I wasn’t far from a branch of Boots (107 Longacre) who had an Optician section. I spoke to a very polite and helpful young Optician called Anna and explained my situation. She had no hesitation and told me to take a seat and took my glasses. Within a minute she returned with my glasses intact. A life saver!! I asked how much I was due to pay but she told me no payment was necessary. So a BIG THANK YOU to Anna, who helped to make my trip a memorable one.
My wife simply went to boots opticians New Milton Hants for an eye test not realising the high pressure sales force was waiting to thrust the card machine in her face at any opportunity.
She has had lens replacement surgery and has very good vision, but was thinking about a pair of off the shelf reading glasses. This is quite common with single focus lens replacements.
The staff were determined to push varifocals and kept asking other members of the team to back each other up and increase the pressure.
She does not want or need varifocals but the pressure was relentless.
My wife is 75 has hearing difficulties and was almost frog marched into handing her card over for the purchase of varifocals she neither wants or needed at a cost of £646.59p
When she came home she was in shock and very upset
We rang to cancel the sale but the staff refused our demand stating they were being manufactured 1 hour after ordering.
You have to wait 2 weeks for the glasses to be made but they said they started the process 1 hour after the purchase.
Boots opticians seem to have degenerated into some wide boy outfit that we don't recognise.
They took advantage of an old lady and seemingly ripped her off. They ignored their duty of care and coerced her into using her card and will not return the £646.59p
The experience was like buying a second hand car from Arthur Daley.
Definitely should have gone to specsavers. Will never buy anything from Boots or use my disadvantage card in their stores.
Appalling treating of their customers in our experience
Very good service.
Friendly professional, and knowledgable staff
Outstanding staff: Zain, Hassan, and Chris
Waited a long time to be seen for my eye test. Was overcharged by a member of staff for my glasses. Luckily i asked for the invoice and checked it and saw my discount had not been applied and asked for a refund of the discount amount.
Whenever I am at Boots opticians Southside Wandsworth, Ankit is very helpful and offers excellent customer service. He is also extremely knowledgeable of the product offerings.
I booked my son in for an eye test as a second opinion after having been to Specsavers for years. Specsavers were insisting he get glasses but I didn’t think he needed them. He had the usual scans and nothing came up when we went to boots they noticed an anomaly and he was referred to a specialist and is now under the care of Moorfields oncology unit for a tumour that boots picked up but Specsavers didn’t.
I was greeted straight away by Ellie. My sight test was quick and efficient with minimal waiting. Ellie performed all the checks and was friendly and chatty throughout. The optometrist Chiquita was also friendly. I felt that I left knowing what all my options were. I was short of time to choose some glasses that day but I will definitely be returning. I would definitely recommend Boots at Rushden Lakes to friends and family.
