We were a group of 4 Fathers and 4 Sons. We started planning the trip 18 months ago. From the time we arrived until we departed, things could not have gone more smoothly.
Transportation services were excellent. We were greeted at the airport upon our arrival and taken to and from the golf courses each day. The drivers were experienced, professional and on time.
The stay at the Old Course Hotel was first rate. The staff was always available and helpful. The facility is wonderful and the rooms were very comfortable. Our package included a big Scottish breakfast each morning. That got our day off to a great start.
What can you say about the golf courses? We were playing on courses we had dreamed about for years. There's a reason they are rated as some of the best courses in the world. The golf courses are the reason you come to St. Andrews. The caddies we each had made the rounds even more enjoyable. They delivered exceptional experiences and life long memories for Fathers and Sons.
After each round, we had lunch at the club house at each course. This was a great time to sit down as a group and recap our rounds while we had enjoyed a great meal and a few beverages.
After some free time in the afternoon, where we could shop, visit historical spots and find a pub or two, we would head to dinner.
We ate at some fine restaurants, but our favorite location was right on The Old Course. The Jigger Inn is a special, iconic piece of history.
To a man, expectations were high and this trip exceeded them.

Ian was there every step of the way ensuring we all had unforgettable memories. The hotel was first class as was the golf courses we played.

The Experience Golf was absolutely amazing, they exceeded all of our expectations and made our “bucket list” St. Andrew’s golf trip the most memorable experience we could have hoped for! All of their people are true professionals, extremely friendly, super accommodating and always going above and beyond. Our group of 8 guys can’t wait to do it again - and will definitely book through The Experience Golf again. Thank you for providing an experience of a lifetime!

Ian and his team were fabulous, great organization, listening to every requests, available 24/7, I would definitely do it again with those guys !

The Experience Golf trip was a great opportunity to play St. Andrews' best golf courses including the Old Course. The Experience Golf team was fantastic! From the transfers from the airport, the hotel accommodations, and the golf arrangements were all top notch. The Experience Golf was absolutely a fantastic experience.

The Experience of Experience Golf's Father Son Tournament was as good, perhaps better, this third time. The staff, to a person were there for the golfers. Whether driving a van, managing logistics, hosting events casual and formal, in every case, the team did the upmost to create an unmatched unforgettable experience. They succeeded.

My son and I relished every minute and are ready to come back again. There is simply nothing to compare. Several people go to multiple father son events. They put the Experience at the top. This is the only one we've been to. When you're at the pinnacle, there is no point to try second best.

The communication before and during the trip was wonderful and meant the trip itself was as great as it was
Staying in one hotel was a plus
Playing the courses Crail, Carn(asty)oustie, Kingsbarns, Jubilee and The Old gave us the full experience of Scottish golf (except for the weather which was only nasty at Carnasty)
Highly recommend The Experience and to finish in kilts and having bagpipes play was the icing on the cake for a homecoming Scotsman now residing in the US

The punctual organization of each and every part of the trip was exceptional ,and all members of the staff were amazing .
The experience of playing at these four courses in Scotland was a treat in itself.
We made some great new friends who I am sure we will be seeing more of in the future.

Hi, Myself and my 30 year old son have returned from the 2025 Father & Son Tournament. We first entered this tournament in 2013 and it gets better every year. The golf course's of course are truly iconic and the fun and enjoyment is superb. 'The Experience' staff are totally professional and relaxed in their running of the event. I cannot recommend this event enough and it is so special to spend this precious time with your son.
