DAVID JONKER is absolutely an excellent instructor with patience and ensures to find tune your area of weakness, I only had very few classes with him but I've been lucky to have him as my instructor and thankful to him for transforming me into confident driver on the road. I have passed my exam in first attempt in my own car and I truly enjoyed entire experience of learning.

I came to Alex with zero experience with driving and I left with the upmost confidence any driver could have. He hasn’t just taught me how to drive, but he’s also taught me life lessons and how to control certain situations that I can use in day to day life (not just driving!) I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor, I have accomplished so many new things whilst with Alex, I highly recommend The Green Cat. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me Alex, it’s definitely a bitter sweet goodbye but I hope to see you around 🚗🚗

I would highly recommend Alex and The Green Cat to anyone wanting driving lessons. From my first lesson to my last I couldn’t have asked for any better. Alex always tailored lessons to best fit my ability, allowing me to progress quickly and made me feel comfortable and safe the whole time. Alex was extremely patient and supportive throughout my time with The Green Cat which really helped me stay calm in stressful situations. Massive thank you to Alex as without him I wouldn’t have been able to pass first time.

He’s not only a great instructor who was patient and kept me calm whilst teaching me what I needed to know for my test, but he is also just an overall amazing person who was somehow able to deal with me non stop talking for 2 straight hours a week. With his help I passed my theory and test first time! A first class instructor who I would recommend to everyone as couldn’t have done it without him. 😁

Passed my driving test recently. Dave was a great instructor, taught me well. Improved lesson by lesson and didn’t take long before I was ready for my test. Starting With 0 experience Dave had me ready in under 12 weeks.

After having completed my driving test I can safely say that The Green Cat Driving School is an excellent place to learn how to drive. Throughout the entire process I always had the comfort and aid of my instructor (Alex Doyle) by my side. Even in my moments of deep anxiety of worry he was there to help guide me through it and has taught me everything needed to pass my driving test. I can't thank Alex and the Green Cat enough for helping me learn to drive. Would absolutely recommend

I just recently passed my test with the green cat driving academy and they were truly helpful I had David Yonker as my instructor they were very quick to get me a driving instructor and he has been very helpful to my driving experience he has been very patient, instructive and flexible so I would alway have a lesson each week no matter what.

Alex is an amazing driving instructor. Could not reccomend enough. Helped me pass with the first attempt. Very positive and always pushing to be your best. Thanks for all your help Alex!

Dave is such a great instructor made me feel at ease and helped alot when I felt anxious. He is patient and goes above and beyond with his support. I don’t even know where to start with regards to what an amazing driving instructor Dave is. I was told by my previous driving instructor that I would never be able to drive a manual car, well Dave made that happen and I passed first time!! The countless hours he has dedicated to learning resources for his pupils is unmatched. I personally found them so useful and spent a lot of time watching them in between lessons. He is not only a brilliant instructor but a lovely genuine person who I am glad I have had the pleasure of meeting. I would recommend Dave to anyone learning to drive, especially someone who suffers with anxiety like me, he has such a calming presence and put me at ease from day one. Thank you so much again for everything especially for believing I could do it!

I passed my driving test today. I am very grateful to my instructor Mr. D. C. Jonker for all the advice and skill he taught me. I recommend Mr Jonker. A very good instructor who can teach you how to drive and help you pass the exam.

Alex is amazing driving instructor. Perfect for anyone who is nervous to drive. His friendly and supportive attitude makes it so relaxing to be on the road. So today i passed my driving test first try. I couldn't done this without Alex. He is calm and and willing to provide solid feedback an ares of driving were i found myself struggling. He's been the best driving instructor, he got me through everything. I would 100 %recommend Alex. Thank you

I can't recommend Green Cat enough. I started my driving journey with Alex shortly before covid. I was extremely nervous at the start and I didn't feel that driving came naturally to me. Alex was endlessly patient, always coming up with new ways to explain things to me and he never let me be hard on myself when I made mistakes or was slow to "get" something. When lockdowns interrupted our lessons, he was always prepared to get me back up to speed and back to making progress when our lessons restarted. I always felt challenged in the right way - I never felt like I was stagnating but we also never went through things too quickly. He had so many tools and strategies - reviewing dashcam footage, demonstrating points on a map, physical reminders in the car and many more - to help enhance my learning and they were so helpful. Part way through my journey, I was diagnosed with ADHD and this really put my experience into perspective. I took a break from driving and switched to automatic and the difference was night and day. I practiced in my own car and then had 3 automatic lessons with Alex before my automatic test which really put me at ease - he was just as fantastic then as he was during my manual lessons. I was able to practice in my own car because of the quality of the teaching I'd received in my previous lessons. Friends and family who supervised me while I was practicing all remarked that I felt like a "natural" driver with lots of experience, which is definitely not how I felt inside! I know for certain that had Alex not been such a fantastic instructor, I would have given up driving but thanks to him, I passed the first time I took an automatic test and I'm now a happy, confident and comfortable driver! Correspondence was always prompt, he was never late for lessons and was always on hand for any questions I had between lessons. I felt like I was in the safest hands at all times and I don't hesitate to recommend Alex and Green Cat for anyone looking to learn to drive.

Had David as my instructor and he was really good and friendly. He talks you through everything in easy steps and makes you feel confident. Really glad that I got him and would definitely recommend.

Alex was the best! Very patient and understanding. I can’t say enough good things about him. I had previous driving experience in the states, but he helped so much with my confidence on the UK roads. I would recommend him to anyone who needs lessons!
