I ordered some banister end caps online but they didn't fit. Heritage Doors allowed me to return without any issue and the money was instantly refunded.

Many issues with my order.
Had problems with the payment not being accepted on the website and also an item remaining in my basket from 18 months ago. Staff seemed to be aware of the website glitches but didn't give me the impression that they were going to be rectified. Several days after the items arrived, I received another e-mail saying that they were on the way. When I called to query this, I was told that the e-mail was automatically generated, it happens on every order and the goods weren't actually being sent again. Another unnecessary glitch.

Thanks for your message. We're so sorry to hear you had problems with the checkout system for you. Please be assured I have looked into this.
I'm afraid if something is left in the basket, it must be manually removed if no longer required. If not removed from the basket the item will stay through to the checkout service. However is displayed on the confirmation of order before the payment is taken.
I have checked the transaction and it looks like the payment was declined due to different address entered than the one registered to the payment card. These checks are in place for our protection and our customer's. I'm afraid we cannot change this and is not classed as a glitch on the system.
Once orders are dispatched, they are marked as 'completed' on our system, then allow for a delivery time of 3-5 working days. It looks like on this occasion, your order was delivered well before this time and so exceptionally fast. We can only apologise for the confusion.
Please let us know if you have any further feedback or queries and we will of course take this on board and help where we can. We apologise again for any inconvenience caused.

Excellent quality for a reasonable price
Ordered a pine door, really pleased with the quality of the door. It was reasonably priced and delivery was quick (here with 1 week) I would definitely recommend and will be using The Heritage Company again
