Just AWFUL. Don’t waste your time.

Just AWFUL.

Ordered a T-shirt from them and I was sent a different size to the one I’d ordered. It was difficult to contact them but they finally agreed that I return the T-shirt and they would send the correct size. They refused to pay for a return label and instead said they would refund return cost once received.

I sent it tracked - tracking showed received by they said they never got it despite it being signed for by someone at their address. I had to open a PayPal case to get their attention and after a very ping delay they actually sent me the correct T-shirt.

Fast forward 3 months and the T-shirt has been washed about three times on a 30 degrees wash. All the white design is peeling right off and it’s now unwearable after three uses.

The brand is just sad

Used to be an alternative clothing company that would closely with artists and collaborators, amazing designs on crap quality clothes that took forever to arrive.
BUT NOW
With the new management It looks like it's been taken over by the TOWIE style tattoo scene. Tracksuits and guff like that.
The Brand before had promise but now it's just sad

Fantastic service from the new owners

Fantastic service & delivery from the new owners! Ordered a full tracksuit last weekend and it arrived on Tuesday! Was very pleased by this and that they have sorted there stuff out.

There communication is so much better now via social media. I am glad The Killing Tree are back with new owners!

If you have any sense please don’t order from them!

Terrible company, never ordering from them again! After having a good experience with ordering from them I decided to purchase something else. This, however, I ordered in July/August and I have yet to receive it. Once I’d ordered it took a long while (around 6 weeks) for the email to come through to say that it had been dispatched and that was only after I sent an email to the company asking when it would be dispatched. Then after a waiting what is the normal delivery period for companies, so up to 10 working days, I then went to check the status of my delivery only to find out that the company ‘no longer existed’, as in poof it had wiped itself clean from the internet. At which point the money for the item had already been taken out of my bank from the company. So they have essentially taken my money and ran and after reading various reviews of this company it is something they do on a regular basis. If I were the person being smart reading their reviews and checking up on this website I would be smart and not buy from them. They just take your money promising to provide you with a product that they aren’t going to give you. As to my situation, if someone is reading this review from said company, I would very much like a full refund and for you to take down the photo of mine that you shared on your instagram (without my permission just fyi) immediately, I am very disappointed with the service that you have failed to provide after having a good experience with you beforehand.

Don't trust this company

Don't trust this company! Ordered free art prints and thankfully I only paid a little for postage. The items never arrived. Queries went unanswered and two months later they email me repeatedly asking for feedback on the items! Wished I'd looked at other reviews before buying anything from them. Total waste of money

A message from the Liquidators

Dear all customers,

This is Lee Morris at Marshall Peters Ltd. We are the Liquidators of The Killing Tree Clothing Limited, which is a limited company in the UK.

The Company entered Liquidation on 8th November 2018. For those of you unfamiliar with the process of liquidation - creditors (the people that are owed money by the Company, including customers who have paid for, but not received, goods) will only receive anything out of the liquidation if there are sufficient asset realisations to enable a dividend to creditors. In this case, there are no significant assets to enable a dividend to any creditors and therefore you will not get any money back out of the liquidation.

Therefore, the only means by which you may recoup your money for unfulfilled orders is by contacting Paypal/Shopify/your credit card company/your bank etc; raise a complaint that you have not received the goods for which you paid, and request a refund under their consumer guarantee scheme. Each entity deals with refunds differently, but generally there is a window of 6 months after paying for the order to obtain a refund, provided the merchant facility offers that service. Many debit cards are not protected.

I hope this is of some assistance to you and am sorry if you have not received your goods from the Company.

Kind regards

Lee Morris

Another avenue for getting your money back.

http://www. marshallpeters.co.uk

Had a brief conversation with Karl Sandor (although he has now stopped replying again) and this is apparently the company dealing with the killing tree insolvency. So another possible avenue for you all go get your money back 👍 (over a year on and still no luck with mine)

Edit: as apparently they are also not paying out; taking legal action is now the only course for anyone waiting over 6 months.
See you in court.

Terrible

I sadly paid £30 for an order online - they never delivered, emails were ignored. No refund, no update.

To add insult to injury, they made me pay £5 postage for something that hasn’t been / seems unlikely to be delivered.

Worst purchase in my life!! Don't buy from them!! They've stolen loads of money from their customers!!

I ordered the dethrays sunglasses last september. After that, I discovered all the bad reviews in facebook, by the comments on their posts. Anyway, I decided to wait a bit. Last October they sent me an email saying that my order had been sent (but after all the reviews I saw, I didn't expect good news). Now, suddenly, their website is not working and, probably, neither does their email. So, obviously I've lost £35. I don`t know what can I do because I'm not living in UK anymore, but, after all the things they've done, we should sue this company, or the owner/s. I'm going to look for information at the cosumer office here in my town in Spain. They have stolen a lot of money from people who trusted them!! We have to do something about it!!

Ordered a free print (paid for postage)…

Ordered a free print (paid for postage) 2 months ago as part of one of their promotions, emailed them a month ago to tell them it hadn't arrived and got an email to say it was being looked into within 2 days. It's been 1 month since that email and I haven't heard back. AVOID THIS PLACE! Scammers!

BE CAUTIOUS!!!

Back at the beginning of September 2018, I ordered free prints and a pin badge - items of which the killing tree clothing company were advertising as free products - all you had to pay for was the P&P and they took care of the rest. I have emailed them countless times since October 2018. I wanted to find out if my order has been posted or if it has been lost in transit - either way I need a response. I have received no response from the company whatsoever. After a little digging and google searching I am now aware that the company website is no longer live and this has now indicated to me that they have either went bankrupt or they have been a very elaborate scam merchant. I am more inclined to believe the former rather than the latter assumption. I hope that neither of these things are true or have happened. I certainly hope that the killing tree clothing company endeavour to reply to everyone soon and maybe I can change this review.

I ordered about a month ago and I've…

I ordered about a month ago and I've had no items and they have ignored my 3 emails and my messages on their Facebook page. Their website is not working at all. They've blatantly scamming people at this point. I urge people not to buy from this site and instead report them

Terrible retailer! No item and no refund

The worse online retailer I have dealt with without doubt. No communication, no updates on site. Quick to take payment then nothing, I haven't received my item and all of my communications have been ignored.. these include loads of emails, the message option on the website and facebook but nothing else. What a waste of money - I urge people to avoid!

No order received and no customer service DO NOT USE

Absolutely shocking customer service ie. none. And no order received.

I have ordered over a month ago and have sent several emails and Facebook messages to them with no reply. There is no Customer Service number to call so like most people who have given reviews on here, I feel scammed and robbed, and am wondering where my order is - and where my cash has gone to!

This is not the first time this has happened - however before I at least got an email response with the excuse that they were “busy”, and received my items (even if after 1-2 months!!!)

Not happy as I was a regular customer when they first started up.

DO NOT USE

Terrible company

Terrible company, take your money with no problem but will not answer messages or emails and will not deliver goods ordered. I'm now sat here worried, wondering if I will get my £75 back or not as the website is down and no one is answering any emails or messages on facebook or twitter.

DO NOT TRUST THEM!!

DO NOT TRUST THEM!!
back in the start of September I ordered free prints that they had advertised, I thought it would take a while - i thought fair play because they're quite a popular website... Even though I only paid for the P&P for the prints, a trust pilot review is a trust pilot review nonetheless ... Anyway I have emailed them countless times to try and get a hold of my order and nothing. A couple days ago I left a review on their page - quite rude I know that's never okay but I desperately wanted their attention. The next thing I know their website is down - I originally thought i'd been blocked from their website. But after a bit of digging on Facebook and eventually googling their company alot of individuals have had the same fault - shame as what they sold was lovely. But I'd save yourself and not trust this company !!
