Just double check you've understood pricing from the call back, as the company charge for an hour minimum. Their script ought to be clearer and should quote price for one hour plus vat - as that's their minimum then explain price per half hour after that.

The plumber, Ashley returned to complete the job, he started the day before having had to order new parts to replace some piping and a cistern. He was courteous and informative, showing me what he had done. He tidied up after himself .

Wouldn't touch with a ten foot barge pole

The very experienced plumber knew exactly what to do in fixing an old copper pipe system covered with tape over the years to stop leaks.
The company advertised as Local Plumbers and that’s exactly what we got, (as congestion charge from outside London can be expensive).
Excellent service replacing only parts that were necessary. Would highly recommend giving them a call when you want the job done properly.

Plumber came to unseize the stopcock. He explained everything simply and easily and completed the job quickly. Would definitely recommend

Great service fast and efficient came out same day on a weekend can’t fault the service but kicking myself because if I had the knowledge I could of done the job myself for less than £10 but ended up paying £200 for a job that took less than 20 minutes guess it’s a hard lesson learnt was a struggle because we in the middle of doing our first house out and it’s hard enough paying for that with this mistake on top just wish it wasn’t so expensive but can’t fault the service thanks.

I called this company to investigate and fix a hammering noise that occurs when using the bathroom taps. The plumber spent nearly six hours at my property and charged close to £1,000 including VAT.

Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved. Despite the lengthy visit and multiple interventions — including making holes in tiled areas and flooring — the hammering noise remained unchanged. The plumber then advised that he would need to return the following day, which would have involved additional cost, without any clear explanation or guarantee that the problem would be fixed.

This was very disappointing given the time spent, the disruption caused, and the overall expense. I understand that some plumbing issues can be complex, but I would have expected either progress toward a solution or clearer communication about likely outcomes and costs.

I’m sharing this feedback so others can make an informed decision when choosing a plumber.
