Not a Single Interview
The Mom Project is nothing more than a portal to waste time. Busy parents aren't looking to spend countless hours tailoring cover letters and resumes to murky companies that may not even be real. We need flexibility and connections, not false leads and denials. The mission is nothing at all what is being offered in real life.

I hired an office administrator who bailed a month after she started. I have been harassed to pay the $4k invoice by TMP that was a projection of the office admins first year salary. Astronomical fees and terrible customer service.
Don't Waste Your Time As a Job Seeker
I believe this site is just a data mining site. They still have job opportunities on the site that show as open and the contract dates are Oct 2024 to Feb. 2025. I am writing this review in the month of February 2025. I have a background as a director and have applied for many positions. My issue is no response. Nothing to say the company went in another direction or found an applicant. There are too many other sites to waste your time on this one.
Bad worker; waste of money
I hired someone through mom project as an assistant. It was pricey given that I had to pay a percentage of her compensation up front. She was a contractor who supposedly had experience and didn’t need much training. However, she did not know very much and was never available to learn and train during actual work hours. Her actual work was very sloppy. The Mom Project sold her as someone she wasn’t. I ended up just posting the job on a job board and got someone far better without having to pay any recruiting fees.
DATA breach of social security numbers
Mom Project has recently asked all members to supply their social security numbers. Shortly after they had a data breach and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to rectify the situation and help the people who's identities had issues. They offered no services help remedy the damage they caused. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE people who do not care about their members
NEVER AGAIN MOM PROJECT
I hired a bookkeeper contractor in December 2023. First 2 meetings were good, after that they ghosted me. After following up with my account manager, I received then a 2-page report with a few lines on each.
When I complained about the absence of work and terminated the contract, wanting my money back (210$ for nothing), the MomProject denied the reimbursement because I supposedly approved the hours.
Good intentions didn't transform into quality and I do not recommend to use the Mom Project for contract work. A complete loss of time and money.
Hope
Been on here for 1 week. I am highly educated and have an excellent employment history and experience, skills, etc. I'm hoping this is a legit place to get hired, but if I don't receive even 1 acknowledgement from any of the 20 applications I have been qualified for within a reasonable amount of time, I'm going to have to move on. There are a lot of reviews here from employers saying how wonderful the platform is, but who are they hiring?
Great overall ! :-)
Had several technology and platform issues in the beginning, but things smoothed out, and we were very pleased with our website developer, and overall satisfied, although it was a more expensive than we expected.

I initially had an issue with the billing from a contractor I hired through the Mom's Project. But immediately my MP representative, Leslie, took care of it. My experience has been great and the talent has been equally phenomenal. I'm very impressed!
I would work with TMP again.
I think the level of professionalism and communication from The Mom Project staff was great. All questions I had were answered completely and thoroughly.
When posting the position, I was very overwhelmed with the response (100+ applicants in just a couple of days). I wish there was a way for The Mom Project to help filter some of those applicants out for me. As a small business, sifting through all of those apps was quite time consuming.

I enjoyed the process TMP made it easy to find the right candidate for the position. And we'd definitely use and recommend TMP for our future staffing needs.
So many great candidates on on platform
We like the qualified candidates who are generally interested in helping out a firm, and learning more about various industries.
Well organized
Well organized, supportive platform, all the "nuts and bolts" are in place and have been thought of. Also, I'm thrilled with the VA I've hired through the Mom Project as she is professional and capable.
Seamless experience
Seamless experience from posting role, to interviewing candidates, to payment and process. All professionally managed by The Mom Project team. Great platform for sourcing flexible talent.
Impressive candidates
I was impressed with the number of resumes and the quality of candidates.
I worked with Mom Project
I worked with Mom Project. I could not be more happy. It was worth every penny. I will be using them again in the future.

Excellent Experience Hiring Through The Mom Project (Again)
Amanda's immediate response to my initial job posting, help with revising that into an attention getting ad and her help with scheduling interviews and responding to candidates was invaluable. Also, the candidates who responded were mostly spot on and remarkably qualified. TMP has been and will continue to be my go-to hiring resource.

Great administrative response and talent is very good.
