I spoke to a real live customer service person!
I needed a product and ordered it.
It turned out it wasnt in stock, Portwest phoned me ( yes like a real live person actually phoned me!) And suggested a workable alternative. They took care of everything getting what i needed, when i needed it, at a price i was happy to pay. Job Done.

Lack of communication
Ordered Mon 6th March
Looked for an update on Thurs 9th as had not received a Dispatch notice. Only then I was advised they didn't have my colour. Offered refund or different colour. Opted for different colour. Again days went by without a Dispatch note. Chased up Wed 15th. Left voice messages, texts on an unanswered mobile phone. Sent emails. Nothing. Completely fed up I ctc a shop in West who did solve it and delivered was made Fri 17th March. Because of the very poor communication (IE none) doubt I'd use them again.

Caring Supplier
Portwest were unable to help me directly because they don’t sell products to individuals however, Portwest contacted their distributor who, in turn, contacted me. I have now been able to order the products I wanted.
Portwest responded to my emails so quickly and within 24 hours, I was in touch with Merlin Products.
Thank you for first class service.

The website was easy to use
The website was easy to use, and follow, I was curious about my order , so I emailed them, they responded quickly and reassured me that everything was in place .. my order arrived about 3/4 days by Kevin , who’s as pleasant as always.. I’ve ordered a jacket and happy out with all around experience, would definitely order from Portwest outlets .. highly recommended.

Overall a decent experience.
Ordering experience was a breeze. Only problem I encountered was that they forgot to dispatch my package, but with a quick email that was sorted, plus I received a lovely discount for the inconvenience! All in all, a solid experience.
