After about an hour of searching for a cheap trial PDF editor, I discovered PDF Company. I only used it to delete pages and redact and make small marks, but everything worked nicely. Quite a professionally designed editor.
And pages load quickly. By the way, avoid Cosmic, it's rubbish.
