My nephews bought me this gift and 2 friends joined me, we were made to feel very welcome beautiful place and the hosts were amazing and lovely ladies. They were very helpful with questions asked they realy looked after us will definitely return and will recommend thank you for a beautiful experience. Xx

Truly wonderful day. This was a birthday gift and I attended with my friend. The whole day was very enjoyable and we learnt a lot about perfume making. The facilitators' were great. We had a lot of fun and came away with our personal signature scents.

Very enjoyable and well worth the price. Refills are available and doesn't cost an arm and a leg (we were worried this was the catch 😅).

I'm very happy about going through each scent and then building up my favourite smells. It's very good you walk out of the experience with your perfume, no waiting for it to be made elsewhere and delivered to you. I've put my blend on every day since! I love it and it's fantastic.

My partner lost a good portion of his sense of smell during COVID and he was able to walk away with a scent he loved too. The fact that his sense of smell is dulled didn't mean the experience was worth less.

I also developed a small perfume sensitivity over the pandemic, and I have no clue what sets it off other than it's not an ingredient is most perfumes. I did have a slight reaction to the ambergris during the experience, but it was very minor and it eased as soon as I stopped wafting the scent stick Infront of my face. So I now know that ambergris is a likely culprit now, but I would not recommend using this experience as an allergen test 😂 was just an interesting discovery I didn't expect to find.

The experience was good fun, the host was very knowledgeable and made the experience interesting. Welcomed with a glass of Prosecco which helped break the ice on our table. Loved the gift bottle of perfume. This was a present for myself and my mother and we would both recommend.

Fantastic experience, we weren’t sure what to expect but each scent was thoroughly described and the process of choosing and organising was clear. The only problem was narrowing down the scents to mix!

I bought this as a gift for my best friend and it was a fabulous experience.
The event was very well organised and the hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. We were really pleased with our perfume and will definitely be recommending this activity to others.

Lovely experience and very informative to allow us to make unique and beautiful perfume. Fabulous way to spend an afternoon with friends.

A fun few hours spent at a beautiful location relaxing, designing and personalising our own perfume. Helen was a great host and very informative, it was lots of fun and I would definitely recommend.

I attended this workshop recently and had very mixed feelings about the overall experience. On a positive note, the concept itself was really enjoyable — experimenting with different scents and learning how to pair them was fun, unique, and something I hadn’t done before.

However, the organisation and customer handling on arrival were extremely disappointing. I had purchased my tickets through Eventbrite and received barcode tickets as expected. When we arrived, Alison did not scan the tickets or check the order number. Instead, she tried to locate our names manually and told us she couldn’t find our booking.

I showed her my Eventbrite confirmation, email address, bank transaction, and multiple reminder emails, but despite this, she insisted there was no record of us. We were then asked to wait in the lobby while the session began, alongside another couple who were experiencing the same issue.

After about 15 minutes into the workshop, I was asked to forward my emails again. Another staff member kindly pointed out that there was an empty table, which clearly aligned with the four of us waiting. Eventually, we were allowed in, but having to enter late — with it being announced that there was an issue with our booking — was quite embarrassing.

Unfortunately, the disruption didn’t stop there. Throughout the workshop, Alison repeatedly came over to our table to question us further about the booking, ask for phone numbers, and request more emails. This ongoing interruption made it difficult to relax and enjoy the experience. While the other couple eventually received an apology, we did not.

Alison came across as abrupt, and I wasn’t the only one who felt this way — other attendees also commented on her manner. I understand that issues can arise, but I provided more than enough proof of purchase, and the situation could have been handled much more professionally and discreetly.

What made it worse is that this was a Christmas gift for my friend, and the whole situation left me feeling quite embarrassed. It turned what should have been a thoughtful and enjoyable experience into a stressful one from start to finish.

Overall, while the workshop itself has great potential, the poor organisation and customer service significantly impacted the experience.

Enjoyed the unique time with special people. But Jax was abrasive at times with us being early, people asking questions and with her staff, which was off putting as we were all there to enjoy and relax into the experience. But despite that we had a lovely time and rest of staff were lovely.

Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the experience. Jax our trainer ( if I may call her that) was very knowledgeable and entertaining at the same time. Her passion and excitement during the whole session not only made the whole experience enjoyable but also inspired a lot of us. Totally recommend it. 😊

I came with my friend to the fragrance design experience as she received this as a gift. It was a lovely afternoon and was really interesting to learn about the perfume industry around the world.I was given lots of help with putting different notes together and I’m really happy with my fragrance.

Enjoyed this experience so much it not something I would normally do but would definitely recommend it to others. The instructor was very knowledgeable & informative.

Received the experience as a birthday gift and wasn’t sure what to expect. The experience was really interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great fun! Great for a party or casual get together.

Advice for those attending:
1. It may say 2 hours but it can take up to 3 hours
2. The course does not really educate you on perfumes - it is more general overview. If you are looking for more detail you may want a small group setting.

I really enjoyed creating my own bespoke fragrance! The event was really well run and Amy who delivered the experience was really nice, helpful and friendly. Amy was really knowledgable about the fragrances and it was also really interesting! We had it at the Mercure Hotel with Afternoon Tea afterwards which was delicious and great fillings in the sandwiches and staff were very attentive! Overall a lovely experience that I got for my birthday and I would return and recommend to everyone!

Great venue, Mark is fabulous at leading the day. It was made easier than last time with the name etc of the scent on the tester cards. Well done
