My experience began on 23/06/2026, when I saw an online advertisement for a tattoo removal promotion and decided to book a consultation at this clinic.
On the day of the consultation, I was initially well received and had the assessment done. However, from the beginning there was strong pressure to purchase multiple-session packages (3, or 6 months), even though I clearly stated that I only wanted a single session to try the service first, as I might be moving out of Dublin and did not want to commit financially to a long-term treatment.
When it came time to schedule the tattoo removal session, I was informed that the full amount had to be paid in advance (over €200), which I find to be a very rigid and inflexible policy, as there is no option for a deposit or partial payment. I was also informed that there are no refunds in case of cancellation, and that missing an appointment would result in a €100 fee. In other words, the client bears all financial risk.
The major issue occurred on the day of the procedure (24/06/2026). I arrived on time after a 20-minute walk, having rearranged my schedule and cancelled other commitments. After waiting for almost 20 minutes at the clinic, I was informed that there was no room available to carry out the procedure and that I would need to come back another day.
This is extremely frustrating: how can an appointment be confirmed, fully paid in advance, and yet there is no available treatment room at the scheduled time?
Initially, I asked when the treatment room would be available for my 12:30 appointment and was told it would supposedly be free around 1:15 pm. I offered to wait, and this was briefly checked. I also made it clear that if the treatment could not be done, I would request a refund.
However, I was later informed that the procedure still could not take place, even though I had been told the room would become available. This makes the situation unclear to me, as I do not understand why the treatment could not proceed after waiting.
At no point during this situation was there any clear communication regarding a refund. Only when I became more assertive about the situation did this issue start to be addressed.
When I went back to reception, the situation continued to be poorly handled. A younger receptionist kept repeating confusing explanations. Later, a manager named Michelle stepped in and attempted to calm the situation, asking to speak in a separate room. She apologised and tried to de-escalate things. A serious failure in organisation and logistics. No form of compensation was offered at any point, such as a treatment, or any other gesture to acknowledge the stress and inconvenience caused.
In the end, my cash payment was not refunded immediately, and I was told I would need to wait to be contacted later for the refund.
The result was wasted time, stress, and a highly frustrating experience where the service I paid for was not delivered.
What is most concerning is that the clinic’s policy:
* If the client cancels, they lose the payment for that session.
* If the client does not show up and has not paid in advance, they are charged €100.
* However, if the clinic fails and cancels the appointment, the client simply loses their time and has to deal with the stress of getting their money back.
This creates a very clear imbalance where all risk is placed on the customer.
My final impression is one of severe organisational failure and lack of respect for clients’ time. I did not feel confident continuing any aesthetic treatment there, considering that even a simple scheduled session could not be properly managed.
I do not recommend this clinic for aesthetic procedures that require responsibility, precision, and trust.
Additional note:
I also have evidence showing that there appeared to be many treatment rooms available at the time.This leads me to believe that the issue may not have been the rooms but possibly the absence of a staff, or another internal issue that they tried to hide. (They pay google reviews. Mine was deleted 3 times!!)

Shocking. Poorly run. Let you turn up to appointments they have cancelled and failed to tell you then charge you for your treatment when you try to cancel due to illness. Stay away from at all costs. Complaints procedure is an endurance test to get there and you talk to people who fail to acknowledge any wrong doing.

I have been a customer for a long time
I have been a customer for a long time, having booked multiple batches of laser sessions. Have booked Broadgate, Liverpool Street a few times to then be told a day or two before appointment is cancelled due to renovation works. Confused why I am able to book appointments if they know the particular store is closed?
Due to all of this confusion and back and forth with appointments, I missed my recent appointment after trekking to a new/ different salon by 30 mins. The receptionist at the Angel store on the weekend was really rude and unhelpful. The appointment would have been 10 minutes. I was considering more appointments other than laser with therepie but don't feel like they truly value their customers- very happy to keep the money on batch booking but not to keep their custom

Customer support are not helpful at all. They respond on here claiming they will review the case but the response is still the same as all the previous advisors - no empathy for clients. Avoid booking with this clinic they do not care unless there’s money involved.
