Great Gift, Real People

The lap top bags have made perfect gifts for our daughters when they graduated college. It was helpful for them to look professional by losing their college backpacks and carry an impressive leather laptop bag into their new workplace. Their customer support has real people that are very friendly and ready to help.

Broke in a month, didn’t quite look as advertised but that’s honestly fair because of how leather is

So it definitely didn’t look as advertised, it was extremely delayed getting here, and while walking down the street, one of the buckles broke! Then, as I was googling a cobbler or other skilled local who could help fix my bag which I loved so dearly, the second buckle broke! Not caught on anything, just flat broke off. The staples which connect the loop to the buckles just bent out of place. They both broke in the exact same way. Honestly, I’d love a replacement or a fix, because as painful as this experience was, the bag was beautiful, and I could tell the intent was to make something of value, it just didn’t work out because of(I think) one poor design decision. I respect the artistry, and while my review on the website wasn’t as kindly worded, the fact of the matter still stands, it broke almost immediately, less than a month of use (it was only gifted to me when I visited for christmas, which occurred around new years, and I only got around to transferring my stuff over two or three weeks after).
By the way, I know this review is late, I’m a busy person, so I didn’t think to leave one until recently. Thanks for your time.

As communicated to you over email multiple emails, we have agreed to replace your bag. This even though it has already been 4 months since the delivery date. This is outside our usual policies. We provided the return instructions on April 30, but we have not heard from you since.

Regarding the delayed delivery, please be aware that the purchase was made during the peak of the Christmas season where some packages were delayed due to high volume. We can see that your order was delivered within 10 days from the order date.

We would appreciate it if you could get back to us via email so that we can proceed with the replacement.

Stellar and Thoughtful Customer Service

I had a small issue with the bag that I ordered and when I inquired about a repair or replacement, Liz provided stellar customer service. Given the complexity of the issue, she provided thoughtful, genuine concern, provided accurate timelines and explanations of next steps, and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I particularly appreciated that she didn't promise the world right away and asked for details about the issue. Along with such a positive experience, It made me feel like the company cares deeply about their customers and craftsmanship, while also being a good steward of their resources. My experience made me incredibly glad that I made my purchase and I am happy to tell others about my great experience.

Perfect gift and quality bag

I purchased this gift for my brother and he absolutely loves it. I initially ordered a different bag and because he wanted something different I had to cancel the first order. Customer service successfully assisted my cancellation and I was able to order the one that he liked and now loves. Thank you!

The Real Leather Company shows what real customer service is all about. I had a small issue with a new duffel bag sending them pictures. They responded within 24 hours and took care of the issue immediately.
I recommend them highly not only for their customer service, but for the quality of their products!

Thought I was getting a real leather…

Thought I was getting a real leather bag, and got a chemical smelling bag labeled “made in China” without any indication of authenticity included. The insert provided for care has a bunch of misspellings. I ordered from an Ontario company (or so I thought) to avoid dropshippers, but apparently got scammed. Would never have paid this much if I knew it was going to arrive like this. I own a real leather bag and the smell is completely different.

The post office lost the bag I ordered

The post office lost the bag I ordered. Danelle from customer service was patient with me. Considering how angry and frustrated I was, she was a trooper in helping me resolve the situation. After a month of trying to find the bag with no resolution, the Real Leather Company replaced the lost bag. This is the second time I have ordered the bag as a gift for my son, and he loves it.

My daughter received The Western…

My daughter received The Western backpack for a graduation present. She only used it for this past Fall semester and in her 1st week back for Spring semester one of the rivets securing the strap broke and her backpack is unusable. I contacted the company and they said "We profusely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and wish to assure you that we will make this right," only to be told after submitting the requested photos that it was "out of the 30 day warranty period and there is nothing they can do." They said I should take it to a local shop to get it fixed. No one pays $280 for a backpack and expects it to break like that! Shoddy construction and they tout on the website and I quote "We never compromise on quality. We use the best materials and pay attention to every detail to make sure our backpacks for men are top-notch. From the stitching to the zippers, every part is made with care for durability and long-lasting use."
What a load of crap! Horrible customer service!!
I will never purchase from this company again and would warn against anyone else purchasing from them also unless you want the burden of fixing soon after purchase.

Very Happy Customer...

I just happened to find The Real Leather Company online looking for a well made leather backpack. After doing some research, I took the plunge. I couldn't be more satisfied. The bag is better than I could have imagined. It's well made. The classic leather look is exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend using The Real Leather Company.

I love the look at the bag however

I love the look at the bag however, the customer service that supports this company is absolutely horrible. They’re very slow to respond when they did give me a response because I have a broken buckle. They said that I was out of warranty when I’ve only use the bag once on a trip to Europe and I have two broken buckles that they said I could buy for $15 each but yet still have not heard back from anybody buyer. Beware cool product horrible service I would stay away.
