Love the concept and the clothes. I don't have a consistently good in-store experience. Some people who work there are snooty and seem like they can't be bothered. I've also had the opposite experienc... See more

Lots of variation in products

Lots of variation in products, some a good, others are very bad. Sizing is inconsistent and proportions can be very off sometimes, making it hard to understand for what body some pieces were made.

The unique choices and quality are the draw however items are pricey.

Staff was nice and helpful. Very efficient.

Reformation needs to offer hangers. We spent A LOT of money and to come home with every item wrinkled out of a bag was super frustrating. The staff even steamed a complicated pleated shirt for me then it was tossed in a bag. All of our items have to now be taken to the cleaners to be pressed because of their delicate nature.

Love Reformation!

I am very pleased with the clothing I’ve purchased from Reformation. I did just order a pair of shoes that I haven’t tried yet as I am out of town. The ordering process is seamless and the return process is easy. I like the quality of the clothing and the price range is wonderful.

Sustainable Timeless Design

As someone who values craftsmanship and timeless design over fast fashion, Reformation has become one of the few brands I return to consistently. Their commitment to reducing their environmental impact is what first drew me in, and it’s something I continue to admire.

While some pieces are undeniably an investment, my experience has been that they deliver lasting value. The quality of their fabrics, from linen and silk to lace, has remained consistently excellent over the years, and their garments are beautifully constructed. Their silhouettes feel modern yet classic, making them pieces I reach for season after season rather than just for a single trend.

Another aspect I appreciate is the consistency of the fit. In my experience, sizing is generally true to size, and the tailoring is flattering without feeling overdesigned.

Although Reformation is often associated with a younger customer, I believe many of their collections have a timeless sophistication that appeals just as much to women in their 40s and beyond. It’s refreshing to find a brand that combines thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and a genuine commitment to sustainability.

For me, Reformation is less about buying more clothes and more about investing in pieces that will remain relevant and beautiful for years to come.

Quality has gone down recently

Very much liked the clothes (I own 12 Gavin dresses from the early days and they’ve lasted all this time!) but in recent years (possibly after the PE acquisition) the standard of the clothes and shoes have gone down. I purchased polka dot navy slingback heels recently, for example, and the clasp was on backwards and then snapped off completely after just one use. Every now and then you get a very nicely designed piece or two-piece set but the rest are kind of middling these days.

Waiting for refund

I ordered a Prescott dress in April. A few weeks later, three more of the same item arrived. I returned the three dresses by FedEx to the Reformation store in Philadelphia ( nearest to me). They confirmed that the dresses arrived and said I’d get a refund in 10 days. I’m still waiting for the refund. Please help.
