Disgusting Website
I’m absolutely FURIOUS.
I pre-ordered a vinyl back in May, expecting it to be released on July 11th. Not only did it never ship, but I had to email support FIVE times just to get a vague response saying it was delayed by a week. Fine, delays happen, but after that? Nothing. Silence.
No updates. No shipping. No replies.
Then, three weeks later, out of nowhere, they just canceled my order, without asking, without notifying me, without giving me a single chance to confirm or keep it. And now? That vinyl is completely sold out everywhere else. One chance to get it, and they blew it.
This is hands down the worst experience I’ve had with an online store. Total disrespect for customers, zero communication, and no accountability.
DO NOT use this app. Go to iMusic or literally any other site that actually knows how to treat people right. Fast, professional, and reliable, everything this disaster of a service clearly isn’t.
Shameful.

I ordered 2 records from Sound of Vinyl. One was very warped, how it ever passed quality control. Returned it but it has not been received by their warehouse. I think this store is one to avoid.

I have been emailing them for almost 2 weeks now. Although I get instant (automated) replies that they are looking into it. I have received NOTHING of substance regarding information about my order. I placed and PAID FOR my order on May 28, 2025. It was supposed to ship on June 5, 2025. I finally contacted them on June 30, 2025 and still have no information about my order.

Great Vinyl collection and reasonable.
I recently purchased 2 albums from “The Sound Of Vinyl”. From viewing to purchasing to receiving was so easy and timely. As well as that 1 of the albums was 4 times more expensive on another website.

Brand New item received opened. Unacceptable!!

I was hoping to do business with them again due to good prices however after this they lost a customer. UPDATE: 6/11/25 I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH HEATHER REGARDING THE SITUATION AND THEY DID REFUND ME TOTAL PURCHASE. FOR ME THAT IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. So they did not lose a customer if the price is right I will shop with them again.

Still waiting on 6 month old order to ship
Would not buy from here. Bought an order 6 months ago, they keep telling me "it's still awaiting some items" after them being listed as available on the site. It told me they would ship on Jan 6, 2025. It is now May 15, 2025.
They have already canceled 2 of the items on their end, with about 10 others I'm just waiting for while being out a few hundred dollars. Support gives no information about when it will be shipped, they just say it'll come when it comes.

I ordered a new vinyl from a band I just found. The album arrived in perfect condition and in two weeks, which was great considering it had to cross an ocean. I would order from The Sound of Vinyl again!

Poor & Slow Customer Support
Was only sent 2 records of my original order of 4. Contacted support and they stated it was being looked into. This was the next response for 3 weeks when I tried following up. On my last email they finally asked if I wanted a refund. I accepted the refund, but I was only refunded for half the amount of the 2 records that were missing. They said this was due to me using my reward points. The email I received for the refund showed the 2 records with their MSRP and the status of refunded.
They stated they would give me a full refund but could restore my points. This wasn’t acceptable to me since the points do have an expiration date.
The last issue that I had was while waiting for them to complete my order the one of the vinyls I ordered was sold out. By the time they offered me a refund since they could not provide a date or time frame when these would be shipped this record was sold out at other retailers.

Horrible customer service, no record and no refund after a month of trying to get answers!!!
Placed a preorder for a record, release date came and went with no shipping info. Contacted them and they said it was an order glitch so they replaced the order. A month later still nothing, no refund and no customer service…just keep sending me the same canned response. Terrible business, stay far far far away!!!!
