Spent over $2,000 at the end of last…
Spent over $2,000 at the end of last month. one of the three orders I placed says shipped, but the shipping number says label has been created but not yet shipped. Have reached out more than 8 times with limited responses and they never actually answer my question about the status of my order. Reached out using the UMG link they linked in this page as well as many emails to the email listed on the website. Gonna give them another few days before I contact my CC company and ask for a reverse on the charges. Very disappointed.

Two weeks, no shipping, no response.
I jumped on the after Christmas sale because it was 50% off, site-wide. Two weeks later nothing has shipped and no response from their customer service. I'm having serious doubts about this purchase. At this point, I can not recommend the company.

Great gift for vinyl collector
I got this album as a 50th birthday gift for my son, who is a vinyl collector, still has many of my 50 year old albums, and shares my love of the Beatles. I've always had satisfying buying results with The Sound of Vinyl and the album was delivered safely to the US and in the expected excellent condition. Once again, a great experience with this seller.

Never again..
Order is way past quoted ship date with no updates. Shipping carrier has been “waiting for package” for a week. Half my order is now also on “back order” after being told by the website that they had many in stock. No help from customer service. Prices were good, but now I see why. Shop local.

Rip Off! Items never sent and Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I placed 3 orders and only one was shipped and I get no response from their customer service after several attempts. It has been 13 days since it was supposed to be shipped! Now I have to report it as fraud with my credit card because I cant get anyone to respond. Never again!!!!!!

Couldn’t even tell what company is delivering
Didn’t receive package as it got lost, tracking is incorrect and they even had the wrong company as final delivery (I had contact with this company as well) also they kept postponing the date I would have my package arrive before. Ordered a limit edition and will never see item

Delay and lack of communication
Ordered an album on December 10.
As of yesterday, December 20, my order had not been shipped according to order tracking.
I had no communication from the company regarding my order at all.
I reached out, as I had been anticipating my order being a Christmas Present.
Customer service did respond quickly, but told me that the item was “now out of stock and we will refund your purchase”
No prior email notifications that the item was out of stock to allow me to make alternate arrangements prior to Christmas.
Disappointing to have no updates and I as the customer had to reach out myself only to find I couldn’t get the product.

I wish negative stars were allowed. I do not recommend purchasing from this company.
I am giving The Sound of Vinyl this score because it has been over two weeks, (I ordered the item on November 30, 2024) and my purchase has yet to even be shipped. Mind you, I ordered an item from another INTERNATIONAL company based outside the United States, and I have already received that item. This is both the first and LAST time I purchase from this company. I am very disappointed by this experience.

International Review - surprise fees
I ordered from Sound of Vinyl with delivery to the Netherlands, paying for my order, delivery, and VAT at checkout.
A few days later I received an email from DHL that I owed an additional 32 euros (about 25% on top of my order).
Customer service told me they could not know what the fee would be and that I was responsible (which seems hard to believe).
I would strongly advise against ordering internationally from this website as you might receive a fairly substantial cost you were not expecting.
