Scammers! I thought this was the legit website, though they charge double. You should only book your test through GOV.UK website. It should be around £23. This con website is now 'thetheorytest.uk'... See more

They'll show dates but after the payment, they'll give you same date that is already available on official DVLA site for double the price. If you ask for refund they'll deduct £20 "processing fee". Totally misleading and fraudulent.
Fraudulant reviews by thetheorytest and Trustpilot failure to stop fraudulant reviews
The 'excellent' review of thetheorytest and the 'great' review on Trustpilot both come from the company directors of GEXT Ltd.
thetheorytest is the trading name of GEXT Ltd (see terms and conditions article 2.1).
If you look at the Companies House listing of GEXT Ltd you will see that Basar Sharour who owns 75%+ of the shares of GEXT - I can't post a link, so see Companies House website - GEXT - persons with significant control - wrote one of the reviews. The other review signed off by 'Suz' is probably the director of GETX, Suzanne Hussan, same companies house website/officers.
I flagged these fraudulent reviews to Trustpilot two weeks ago and provided them with all the necessary evidence and followed up with two e mails to the compliance department. It is a great shame that Trustpilot ('we have a zero-tolerance policy towards fraud. Our customised, automated detection software works around the clock with our large compliance team to safeguard our platform') has failed to remove the fraudulent reviews of thetheorytest or reply to my flags or e mails. I have added reviews of Trustpilot on Trustpilot.
It seems thetheorytest is complicit in giving false reviews and trustpilot is very far from meeting their zero-tolerance policy towards fraud
Purposely misleading buyer beware & dont use
It is true to say that the pitfalls are in the terms and conditions, however, they are not made clear at the right point, if you want to read them they are available via a link. It is also true that you need to tick the ‘I agree to terms & conditions’ box before the payment is made and this is where everyone fails. It is basically dishonest to sell an unlimited number of tests knowing that it is very unlikely that a majority of customers are able to meet the criteria to qualify for any further tests as you are not eligible if you fail the Hazard Perception section of the test, which is the part that most people fail as the actual DVLA test is flawed too. In addition, another small print point is that in order to qualify you are also required to complete a number of practice online tests before your appointment. In short a waste of money. Just pay DVLA direct as unlimited test is a misnomer.
BEWARE THEY ARE CROOKS WITH TERRIBLE…
BEWARE! I AGREE THEY ARE CROOKS WITH TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! TO COMPLAIN YOU HAVE TO LOG A CALL BY EMAIL ! YOU CANNOT CALL THEM AND THEY CLOSE YOUR COMPLAINT WITHOUT RESOLUTION!
My daughter aged 17 booked her test through this company and they charge £45 where you can book direct with DVLA for £23, what a rip off, their website gives you no information whatsoever! You are paying for practice material which you can get free on the internet
Beware scam!
Beware scam!
Do not alow a retest unless you pass 10 of their tests online prior to doing your first test and this is on their t&c nicley hidden.
But even though this is on their t&c they will allow you to book your first test with out completeing thier 10 therefore breaching their t&c’s.
Dirty practice! Nice little scam company you have there.
Reported to Action Fraud
My son booked his test through them. Total scammers!
I’ve reported them to Trading Standards and Action Fraud.
I found they are registered as Gext Limited, based in Manchester (a residential address) - easy to find on companies house website.
Absolute scam
Absolute scam, paid for unlimited theory tests, but they do not tell you that you can not re-book if you pass the multiple choice part of the test but not the hazard perception part.

My daughter booked the test having googled it, but you can't get a refund. Third-party sites like this should be banned. How can you expect a 17 year old to know the difference between this and the official government sites!
Will be reporting to Google, MSE, and Government.
DO NOT USE.
Disgraceful
Paid for unlimited attempts, failed first attempt and went to rebook the theory and there has been no reply to my request. RIP off, they deserve to have a court case opened against them.
Absolute scam
Absolute scam, should be illegal for what they did. Free retest did not apply for failing perception.
Do not use...
Do not use its double the total scam
