Scammers! I thought this was the legit website, though they charge double. You should only book your test through GOV.UK website. It should be around £23.

This con website is now 'thetheorytest.uk' as the .co.uk site these reviews refere to is no longer there. Avoid 'thetheorytest.uk' or any other site that isn't the official gov.uk site.

Booked for my daughter as had the option to resist if failed, which she did went to rebook and it said not possible as she hadn't completed the 12 practice tests on their website, this is NOT MADE CLEAR APPARENTLY IT IS IN THE T&Cs...she had been using a different app...what a con DO NOT USE THEM...TRIED TO CONTACT THEM WITHOUT SUCCESS NOT NICE FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT WORKING TO HAVE TO FIND EXTRA MONEY 🤬

I wish I had found before I booked. I booked for my husband, he failed and when I went to rebook, no way to get in touch. It's been a month and I now have had to book through DVLA.
Will be trying to get money back as this is illegal

Didn’t take me long to realise I’d been scammed. I so wish I’d checked reviews first. Trying hard to get my money back but can’t do anything until after 15 days when I can lodge a visa complaint. Fingers crossed

If I could give this no stars I would.
Charged over double for the booking of the test and then when I turned up for the test the centre was shut as it doesn't even open on the day I was booked for. Had to phone the Theory test gov number to be told my test had been booked for the following day !!! and I had not been notified. Took a day off work and had to travel a far distance for it. cant even get into contact with them as they are unreachable.

This company needs to be stopped, charging twice the theory test fee for no benefit

A little digging on the internet - Suzanne Hassan / Shahrour, director of GEXT Ltd under whom thetheorytest is registered, could be a solicitor for a large Law firm in Manchester (linkedin etc). If that were the case it would explain the success in fleecing people. Pretty shady.

How people still get away with frauding people these days I just don't know how,,.sick sad people.

Robbing young people out of £45!? Disgusted this website is still able to operate.

I booked these as a friend did but luckily her son past first time, my daughter failed so I went back to rebook. I was told that because she didn’t use there theory app and didn’t pass it 11 times that I can’t rebook. It looks as thou they have it set up to give different reasons as to why you can’t book a resit. Total scam and I’m so angry I fell for it.
Keep clear.

Booked for Monday 3pm, they changed it to Tuesday 1pm without conferring with me. As I am unavailable on this date and unable to change (as it's within the three days notice period) I am now stuck as I have paid £45 when it is only £23 on the official website and I didn't realise this until I had to go into the test center as they have no contact details either.

No replies when trying to get through and no details for the company they booked with either which is extremely helpful...

why didn't j read these reviews before sending £45 quid to these scummy b******s. It's cost 23 pound for theory and they take 45 off you and then still don't give you what u ask. I told them I work from 7.30 to 5pm Mon to Thursday and they book me in for Thursday at 3pm :/. Hope this review stops these people. And Google are just as crap ya type in theory test and they are 1st one on the list. Scammers at top of search list unbeliveable

As everyone states it is not unlimited retests. It is a complete scam. I have reported them for unfair description of service offered. I wish I had read the reviews before buying from here. Hopefully my review will save someone else from being scammed.

DON NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE! I attended my theory test and was 2 marks away from passing on the hazard perception section. I paid £45 to gain 3 retests in case i failed. Now I’ve gone back to rebook it they won’t give me the free retest as it was in the tiny t&c’s that you only get it if you pass the hazard perception?????? So annoyed I’ve been scammed! Please nobody use this site it’s pathetic

A lot of people has been robbed...they will charged you almost double the price from the DVLA and when you're trying to cancel the appointment and sent a multiple email they will blocked and locked which means it cannot be replied to by e-mail...

Absolute joke of a website. I have no idea why it is the first thing that pops up on the google search engine. Complete scam, surely with all these bad reviews something will be done about it. Asked for a date in July got one in August, poorly managed website that is a complete scam, do not use this to book your theory test. Charging £45 when the test should be £23, you also do not get free retests they make you put your credit card details in again, resulting in more money.
