Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 51 reviews, reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the app for its ease of use, clear interface, and user-friendly design, making it simple to contribute to environmental efforts daily. Many appreciate the concept of planting trees by watching short ads, finding it a rewarding and impactful way to make a difference. However, some people were dissatisfied with recent changes to the app, particularly the shift from sustainable product ads to generic gaming advertisements. These users feel that the new ads detract from the app's original purpose and ethical focus, making the experience less enjoyable and, for some, leading to uninstallation.

Love it

Love it. No complaints whatsoever. I've been on the app for a couple of months. Love the brands they choose to advertise, the simplicity of the app, the streaks, the information they provide. It's a great app that I recommend to my friends and family.

On that note if I was going to give any feedback to improve more, it would be to provide a 101 to some of the terms they use for the absolute newbs like me, and to inform in a simplistic way of the consequences. Theyre already doing that, but I mean for the person who doesn't understand why they should care for the environment.

Treeapp is amazing allowing everyone to…

I love it. Every morning plant a tree with a coffee. Treeapp is amazing allowing everyone to plant trees whether by funding or by simply viewing environmentally friendly adverts. Addictive, highly informative and a trusted way to help our planet and the communities linked to the new forests being planted

Simply amazing

Honestly I can't praise this app enough, finding a passive and free way to help improve our planets eco systems is one of the most positive things I think I have ever experienced my only regret is that I don't have any land to donate so so I can help more. Please keep innovating and doing what your doing. Mad respect!

Love trees and love this app!

Love trees and love this app! It’s a great easy way to ‘do my little bit’ for our planet. All I have to do is watch a daily eco-friendly ad then plant a tree all over the world. There are also great discounts for the items advertised if you want to buy them. I have a couple of times. There are some great products out there! It’s genius!

Amazing app!

Great app not only because it helps a good cause BUT the ads are interactable AND relevant to our shared passion of helping the environment. Very visual app and easy to understand

I think everyone should use it

Treeapp is so easy that it makes doing something good (planting trees) a no-brainer. I do it everyday and it makes me feel amazing! And the information provided on the reforestation projects makes it trustworthy. I think everyone should use it.

A Perfect App

This app is one of the few that I use every single day. I have done for almost a year now. It takes a matter of seconds to use my attention to find something worth while. Leaves you feeling much more wholesome than most of the attention theft we are subject to on social media. Also offers a function to help offset your own carbon footprint. 10/10 would recommend.

A beautifully designed app

A beautifully designed app, with beautiful meaning. If you use your phone a lot, you may as well use this. I watch a sustainable living solution related advert, in exchange funding generated from the advert goes straight into natural conservation. I receive coupons and a calculation of how much carbon neutralising has been given in the process. It takes no time at all, that it helps keep your carbon footprint down is reason enough to use it every day in my opinion 👍

Inspirational

Unfortunately, because I'm on a tight budget, on several occasions I have gone to cancel my direct debit...But I just can't bring myself do it; the projects they are helping towards are sincerely inspirational and it is heartwarming to see photos of various tree projects clearly making a tangible difference to the various people who work in these tree nurseries. I feel humbled to know the £5 pound monthly donation I am giving is clearly having an impact. I have contributed to the planting of 128 trees largely in Madagascar and I will next focus on 🇪🇹 🇪🇹. I am putting my money where my mouth is.

Poor quality adverts but a great response from Treeapp

The advertising policy has changed and the adverts now being pushed through the app do not seem as trustworthy as the ones previously pushed out.

I contacted Treeapp directly, who were very quick and thorough in their response. They have also asked for more feedback around the specific adverts that are causing problems, so they can improve this aspect of the app.

For example, this evening one advert was for £750 free cash for following the advertisers instructions. No chance that is legitimate. The advert did not allow me to exit, even after waiting, and my only option was to restart the app and try again.

After 3 attempts I got a different advert - this time asking me to click to download free software to “clean” my phone. The advert was poorly written and unprofessional in presentation.

If you experience any unwanted or concerning adverts in the app, please let Treeapp know so they can do something about it.

Tree planting aspect of the app is brilliant as always.
