Booked a 7.5 hour tour to Marble Mtns and My Son Sanctuary from Da Nang. Trip Guru decided, without informing us, to merge our small group tour with another originating in Hoi An... thus adding an extra 4 hours of driving, resulting in an 11.5 hour tour, mostly driving, to two sites. Even worse, the guide was useless, poor English, and nothing to say - he had a good sleep on the drive. The guide was supposed to be Justin Duy, the contact info for the guide who turned up was Huu Tai.. and the company insist this was the same person! Their customer support was absolutely useless. Will never use their services again and absolutely do NOT recommend this unprofessional company.

I reserved two tours with TripGuru from Bangkok and my experience was horrible.
The first was Ayutthaya, when I made the reservation they told me that they will pick me up at my hotel but the day before they told me not, and besides we arrived to Bangkok two hours ahead the schedule.
The second was the Railway Market, it was suppose to see the train coming towards you through the market but I didn´t see anything of that.
So, look for another company tours.

I enjoyed TripGuru's tours in Japan a lot! I joined Gion night walk tour and it was amazing - tour guide is knowledge, can speak good English so communication is not a problem, very interesting stories and fun facts about Kyoto. We ended the tour with nice Japanese dessert.

The tour guide told us that TripGuru operates Tokyo tours too. So I booked another Tokyo Asakusa tour a week after the Gion tour. Asakusa was nice! Very crowed but our tour guide lead us to some interesting pathways and we visited almost all the must-go spots at Asakusa. Highly recommend TripGuru to first time visitors.

I really liked the way they were concerned about not polluting the environment and doing an eco-friendly tour. They served the water in glass bottles and promoted not to use plastic.

My family and I had the pleasure of having Mr. Jeerawat Muangyoo as our guide and Mr. Johnny as our driver. Both were the sweetest people towards us: the talks, the laughs and the advice were the best. We had the time of our lives thanks to them, and to be honest this tour was truly magical.

Disappointing Tour — Not Really Guided

I booked an English-guided tour to the Bridge over the River Kwai and the Erawan Waterfalls. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected.

On the way, one of the participants was almost left behind at the first “technical stop” — the driver would have driven off if I hadn’t alerted him.

The guide’s English was extremely limited. He only repeated the short explanations already written in the museum at the bridge and couldn’t answer any of our questions or provide additional context. Later, we were taken to the railway tracks to see a train pass, but again, there were no explanations at all. Quite frustrating.

After another hour’s drive, we arrived at Erawan National Park. The guide led us to the park entrance, repeated what was already written on the signs in Thai and English, and gave no information whatsoever about the park, the wildlife, or the waterfalls. He simply told us to be back at the entrance by 4 p.m. for the return trip and then left us on our own. Such a shame.

This was not a guided tour — the “guide” acted more like the driver’s assistant, nothing more. I do not recommend this tour if it is organized by TripGuru.

I booked a tour Marble mountains +My Son Sanctuary from Danang via Klook but I can not leave a review about this tour as it failed. But I can say a few words about TripGuru company running this tour and their attitude to their clients.
It was very obvious acc. to weather forecast that it will be a peack of typhoon with stormy showers in Danang Vietnam on 28.09.2025. They should’ve cancel it - it would be fair - but in this case they had to refund the money. So they confirmed the tour. More than half of temples in Sactuary were closed for visitors because of flooding paths, Marble mountains were closed for visitors and it took us one hour to get there to know that it’s closed!Tour guide didn’t know about closures of sightseeings. So We spent 6hours in the bus, paid our entry tickets and experienced at least 1/5 part of tour program. When I claimed to their Customer Support there were many apologise words, but they refused to refund and gave me a very bold offer - 10% coupon on my next direct booking from them))).
I would never recommend this company, not fair and irresponsible.
