It all went wrong because of us.
We knew this delivery was happening, and as I was away, I gave the role of taking delivery to the other half, who forgot and decided to sleep in, missed my frantic phone calls and nearly messed up the delivery. Thankfully the driver agreed to my suggestion to put the pallet onto a neighbours drive. The items arrived nice and early and every item was intact, no mean feat when you’re dropping off 20mm of compressed polystyrene.
