Small-scale and straight to the point
I really loved that this conference was small-scale. Most of the presentations were straight to the point and very interesting. I would definitely recommend my team and other colleagues to go next time

High quality presentations
The talks were really on point, delving into a variety of issues that kept the energy of the room up. The presenters were highly skilled professionals that totally knew what they were talking about and knew how to get their points through to the audience, which is something that doesn't always happen. Just to be a bit more explicit, here I was followed the speakers attentively 75% of the time. Usually, at other conferences, I can do somewhere around 40%. The venue was nice, although a bit crowded especially during breaks and lunchtime. I appreciated that the organisers used compostable cups and plates.

Great event
Great event, the venue was easy to find and close to a tube station so very accessible.
The speakers were interesting, although didn't stick directly to the marketed theme the talks were still insightful and gave plenty of ideas for the wider company as well as just within the design team.
Work culture + UX
Organizational part
Everything went smoothly, with no brakes or technical problems. I loved the idea of getting people to stand up and answer design questions - it was a good way to get us going again after a few hours. Too bad I didn't win ;)
Speakers
There were 10 presentations. 4 of them were exemplary with good insight and takeaways. I love the one about working remotely 100% and how they made it work at Spotify. Many talks revolved around companies culture and communication.
Overall
Good insides and welcoming people - I'm not a local so that was really valuable to me, being able to chat on brakes and at the afterparty with the speakers, I had an occasion to deepen my understanding.
Overall it was ok
Overall it was ok, was disappointed with a few of the speakers and the conference didn't really follow the theme stated, quite a few talks on branding which is not really that relevant to UX.
Venue was nice but not great organisation when it came to the food.
For that price of the tickets i wouldn't return.

Wonderful experience!
There was a good variety of speakers who discussed a wide range of topics that fall within the UX design process. Each one brought a wealth of experience that provided a very insider look into how their companies solved problems. As a designer, it gave me a great appreciation for how cross-functional teams make, test and learn alongside users to create great digital products and services. The conference was very well organised and the organisers were superb in dealing with our requests!
It was great!
It was my first international conference and I really like it! Talks were very interesting and I met a lot of great people there. I also visited the workshop around A/B tests, but it was too basic for me. But practical cases were nice and interesting. And I was also able to ask my questions to the speakers and it was the most useful and important part for me. Thank you!
Want to join every year
The UX conference is packed with great speakers and it’s very reasonably priced compare to other conferences. I’d love to join the workshops next year!
Good experience to learn and share with the UX community
Good variety of talks on offer from all of the speakers showing valuable insights into various practices used for conversion optimisation and strategy for design.
Very good opportunity as well to talk with other designers from different industries.
I would recommend if you have the money available and would like to connect with the wider UX community.
worth it!
Enjoyed it very much :) I always like when it’s easy to connect with people and the workshops really helped! The talks were very good too especially the one on the city of solos and the govuk design system. Only the one from Nike was very disappointing it didn’t address design in sports and also seemed to be unprepared
Overall the conference was good
Overall the conference was good. There were some really good speakers, others not so. The most interesting talks were: How to Target UX to Different Psychographics from Patrick Fagan, and Building the Bank of the Future from Jessica Lascar. They really raised the level of the talks.
Best conference for insights and networking in the UX field.
It is a great conference that manages to pack a lot of interesting resources and knowledge in one day. I recommend it for everyone who is looking to keep on the loop of what it is going on in the industry of UX.
Looking forward to more events like this!
Full day packed of great speakers
Great event altogether. Full day packed of great speakers - amazed by the strong panel and 70% female led! You get your money's worth - no disappointment whatsoever. Great organisation, venue and catering. Amazing opportunity to network and find like-minded individuals.
Will definitely attend again!
Was a really good event
Was a really good event, got to Learn, meet & speak to people who have made it and innovated in the top brands. It is definitely worth it for designers that wants to improve & understand the different UX mentalities and it's implementation. This is not just for design but also a way of life, a way of thinking, to cooperate to fellow designers to inspire each other and create innovative designs that can support our human purposes.
It'd be great to have some hands on teamwork masterclass workshop next year. I know a lot of designers would enjoy it even more.
PS. I Love my new Beats Headphones, winning it from a prize draw :)
Plenty that resonates
Well organised day, with talks following a cohesive theme with each speaker building on the preceding talks. Not groundbreaking but lots of food for thought and hearing others experiences certainly resonated.
Worth every minute and every penny
I run a 60 strong research group where we develop software for the life sciences. We use any imaginable tech stack but one thing that was missing was UX. I attended a previous course by The School of UX, which was very good, so i knew this conference will be good too. I was mistaken. This conference was simply EXCELLENT. The speakers line up, their diversity of technical, social and business
background was terrific. The quality of all talks, the conference's logistics, everything simply worked great. A week after i am still enjoying the aftertaste of new fresh knowledge.
Very well organised
It's not my first conference of it's kind and I was surprised how well it was organised: there were no sales pitches, all talks with no exceptions(!) were engaging, informative and on the topic of the conference. Discovering that these UX conferences are divided by topics was a pleasant surprise as well.
The atmosphere felt really warm: from seeing speakers hanging out with each to meeting professionals from different countries.
I'm looking forward to attend more of these and highly recommend them.
It's my first conference of this kind…
It's my first conference of this kind and I really enjoyed it. Very insightful to get an idea of how other companies work with UX. It was quite intensive and by the end it was difficult to absorb the information, which was no slight on the speakers. Food was also impressive!
My only real negative was that one speaker talked about open-source and I just didn't see how this was connected with UX. I could see many people in the audience losing attention and this talk lasted quite a while, felt scripted and wasn't very relevant.
All in all, great! I'd like to attend next year.
A must attend event - great speaker's
A must attend event for anyone in the field of UX design and equally for those who want to broaden their knowledge and transfer learnings to cross functional teams. The panel of speakers were very engaging, expertly telling stories of their own experiences and methods - which I found very useful. Good food and I made a few connections. When's the next one?
Really enjoyed this conference
Really enjoyed this conference. Top class speakers and liked the varied subjects discussed.
I left feeling inspired with new tools and methodologies to try out, plus loads of interesting books I'd like to read as well!
