Won't send your purchase until threatened with losing money
After about 2 months I contacted VV about my order, and was assured that it takes some time to make but will be shipped soon. A month laster, same answer, but a promise to look into why it's taking so long. A month later I email again, nothing. I email,again notifying them if I don't get a response I will cancel the order through PayPal. Finally went to cancel the order through PayPal, and 5 months later, they FINALLY send my item.
Three Looks
I like all three pieces that I got. Especially the black mesh and the white lace on pink. The third piece is beautiful, but since it only has lacs in the back and no quick release front, I am a bit nervous. I have a thing about garments that go over the head, so I might have to alte.
Great corsets!
I have bought a couple of corsets from Violet Vixen. You wouldn't want to need them in a hurry, but boy are they worth the wait! Super well-made, quality fabrics, and you will LOVE the inches they shave off!
Over a year, still no corset!!
I used store credit from a previous return (that was a whole cluster as well, but I thought it was simply due to covid) to order a corset in May 2021 and I still haven’t received the item. It is now June 2022. Every time I send an email to customer service asking where it is I get told it should be in “by the end of the week”- I’ve been hearing that since last August. They also refuse to just give me back my store credit so I can actually get something, so I am effectively out 100 bucks. Do not purchase from here, they will scam you!!!!
Excellent customer service and amazing product
There was a slight delay in my order, but communication was great and the Skulls Underbust corset I bought is GORGEOUS. Wonderful construction and great fit. I look forward to buying from Violet Vixen again soon!
This site is a SCAM
This site is a SCAM. Ordered some shoes $150.00 payment only accepted is PayPal. They took my payment and I didn’t heard back from them. No email confirmation I email customer service and never had an answer back. Had to do a complain though PayPal and 2 months later PayPal is giving me the money back.
I really wanted to love this shop.
I really wanted to love this shop. Everything turned out ok, but my item didn’t ship until well after their very padded 10 business day shipping policy, despite being in stock (not backordered). When I reached out to customer service to find out what was going on (via email), it took them a week to respond. So I had plenty of time to wonder if I had fallen victim to some kind of scam, which is a part of the online shopping experience I generally prefer to skip. But they did finally respond, and my item did ship, and it arrived brand new and exactly as described, and I love it. But I’m sorry to say I probably won’t shop here again or recommend it to my friends.

The product as as advertised and my wife liked it, however the customer service was very poor. My order was very delayed, around 2 months to receive it. There is a lot going on in the world so this is not bad but when I ordered the item I was told it would be about 25 business days and when that time passed I contacted the store to get an update via e-mail. Received no answer. Sent and additional E-mail, received no answer. Tried calling, straight to VM. Tried their sites chat, promised an e-mail back, nothing. This went on for weeks. Finally I sent them an e-mail saying if they did not contact me in the next 3 days I would be canceling the order and since they refused to answer me I would do it through paypal. No answer.
Within 5 min of me sending my message into paypal they sent me a response e-mail. So they don't have time to reply to any of my messages just asking for information but when I go to cancel my payment they can respond lightning quick? And suddenly my item has "Just" arrived and is almost ready to ship? That is very suspicious. I think don't hear from them for several more days and I send them a, admittedly upset, e-mail and they still don't respond but I do get a tracking number the next day.
Why did it take such extreme measures to even get a response? If you know your shipments are delayed why not just send a preliminary e-mail and not require the customer to hunt you down? Why not reply to the customer request, even with a canned response that just says something, "We apologize but due to global events shipments are being delayed by at least XX" Hell that could be automated.
This looks extremely poor on the business as a whole and I will likely never shop here again. I should not have to file a complaint with a payment processor just to get a response. And 5 min? You can't reply to me in weeks but THAT you reply to in 5 min? absolutely despicable.
over a year to ship 1 item
bought a piece of jewelry on april 14th of 2021, and only today did i receive a shipment notification. it should not take, under any circumstances, almost a year to ship a singular piece of jewelry. completely shameful, and i hope no one else has to go through the same experience i did.
Only processed after appealing to Paypal
Took almost a month to try to process an order. Order was only shipped after I requested a refund through PayPal and found out I could source the product directly from the manufacturer both faster and for less money.
It took two weeks to ship?
The merchandise is good quality, but the quality of service seems lacking. It took more than two weeks for the products to ship. I ordered the garter and stockings on January 28th, intent on them being a Valentines Day gift, USPS delivered them in two or three days, but the package wasn't shipped from VV until February 14th. I don't expect Amazon.com like quickness, but two weeks, and no communication from VV, seems excessive. Maybe I should have known better, as this has happened almost every time I've ordered from here (4 or 5 times in the past 6 or 7years). Some places will let you know if your products are backordered. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I'm frustrated that it takes so long or that there isn't a clearer disclaimer stating that it will take so darned long for your stuff to ship. Sorry, please and thank you.

I ordered 2 items on Black Friday. I still hadn't received anything by January so I emailed them about my order. They shipped one of the items to me but I was still waiting on the other item. No response to emails. They don't answer the phone and live chats gets you nowhere. SCAMMERS.
Won’t order from again
My items took forever to ship, which was expected during Xmas but communication with the company was slow and made the experience worse. Then when the shoes arrived they were the wrong size despite what they say on the box. They say size 8 but are actually a size 5. I wrote the company to try to fix this and never heard back. Won’t order from again.
