Newcastle branch: work done without hassle
Ordered a refurbishment on all four alloys. Work was completed without any hassle and on time.
Staff were extremely friendly throughout the experience. I would quite happily recommend them to other people.
If I had to be critical I would point out that receiving an email with possible extra charges after booking was a downer. Those possible extra costs should be on the quotation I was given, and not sent in an email after committing to get the work done. This is in reference to TPMS valves and damaged tyres. Just add this information to the quote. It looks quite shady seeing it after booking. To be clear though, I was not charged for any extras.
Another point was that the phone lines were disconnected, when I tried to find out if the car was ready. I did get a near immediate response from an email though.

Very disappointed with the Nottingham…
Very disappointed with the Nottingham depot. Took a pair of motorcycle wheels in to be powered coated white. I gave them specific instructions to NOT coat certain areas and when I went to pick them up, yep, they had coated the whole area that I said not too. All I got was "well I’ll have to do the whole job again to put it right " in a very unapologetic manner. I would NOT recommend this place and I certainly won’t be going back.

Took my car to get 1 alloy straightened…
Took my car to get 1 alloy straightened due to losing air pressure. They gave it back, and it still kept losing pressure. I went back and after looking at it again, they had repaired the wrong wheel, tried charging me full price again for the same work eventhough they took the wrong wheel off, and then proceeded to accuse me of swapping the wheels over. Then out of ‘courtesy’ only charge me 50%

I had booked my vehicle in to have the 4 wheels completely refurbished, due to circumstances I had to cancel and reschedule 3 times before finally making the appointment. The staff (Jodie) remained patient, friendly and very professional throughout. As for the wheels couldn't be happier with the work done on them, they look like new and I have already recommended this service to others, thanks you.

Stopped by and got estimate immediately. Booked it in on Monday for Thursday. Dropped off 6.30am. Received emails telling all details. work done by 4.30pm. Customer service brilliant would recommend everytime.

Fantastic service and results
I eventually took the plunge and decided to refurb the tired looking diamond cut wheels on my BMW X5. What a difference.
The experience was very easy from start to finish and took two days to complete. Leith stayed in regular contact prior to and post refurb, taking the time to explain what was required.as well as any additional necessary outlays. The final price was very competitive.

Sheer incompetence (Edinburgh)
Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the quality of their workmanship, but I can speak to their customer service. I booked my wheels in for a full refurbishment using their online system after receiving a quote. Despite their price being significantly higher than other companies I’d spoken to, I was swayed by their slick website and the convenience of the booking process.
I scheduled the work for Friday 6th March and even arranged to take the day off work. Then today, I received a call telling me that—despite using their own online booking system—they couldn’t honour the appointment because the entire team would be away at an annual convention. In other words, there would be no one available to do the job. This struck me as sheer incompetence. Why offer an online booking system if you can’t keep it aligned with something as predictable as an annual event?
I explained that this was inconvenient, given I’d already arranged time off, but the best they could offer was alternative dates. No apology, no goodwill gesture, nothing to acknowledge the inconvenience.
In the end, I chose to go with another local company—saving myself a fair bit of money and avoiding further hassle. There are better, cheaper alternatives nearby that won’t mess you around.

Cannot fault the work, the wheels look great. I had two new tyres fitted at the same time and was verbally quoted the price for these. I must take some blame but I only became aware of the addtional cost of fitting/balance, that appeared on the invoice. I think a customer should be told of this prior to making a decision to have the tyres changed.

Pleasure to deal with and my wheels look as good as new. They had an issue with their lathe but I was kept up to date with when they’d be ready. Wish more businesses had this customer focussed attitude. No hesitation recommending them at all and will be using them again.
