Having had our house renovated we decided on shutters instead of curtains for a more modern look.
We looked at the names out there eg Hilarys but plumped for a local company-Window Shutter Company-who were interested in what we wanted and not just getting a quick quote and money in the bank.They were up front and honest and clear in setting our expectations of an installation date due to delays in shutters being produced and shipped from China.They even provided and fitted temporary blinds at no extra cost!-would any other company do that?
The shutters were duly fitted but unfortunately one had a slight defect so Tim and Liz ordered a replacement again with a clear indication as to when we would receive it and asked that we did not pay remaining balance until received and installed.
From start to finish fantastic service and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for shutters.

This company provided excellent communication throughout the process of fitting my conservatory shutters. The workmanship was of a very high standard and the fitters were polite and highly competent. The shutters themselves look excellent and my fear that they would reduce the light within the room was unfounded. Having moved to St Leonard's in February 2022 I wanted to use a local company to do the shutters in my home. I found Liz and Tim's company on Google and got in touch. The service was wonderful from start to finish - prompt, professional, knowledgeable & friendly. Tim came for a site visit; gave me great advice and I chose my shutters. They gave me accurate and realistic timelines on when to expect the shutters. When they arrive, Tim & Martin arrived to install over a period of only a few hours. No mess at all, installed perfectly and the shutters are stunning in my living room, second bedroom and dressing room. I couldn't be happier with them. 5 Stars all round.

The Window Shutter Company are a fabulous company. From start to finish the level of service is brilliant. When they came to measure up the service was very friendly, honest and professional and the installation process was very slick. Liz was also great at keeping me in the loop whilst we were waiting on delivery. The blinds are excellent quality and have made such a difference to the two rooms that we have them in. We were so pleased with the shutters fitted in our dining room window that we decided to place a second order to have shutters fitted at all the upstairs windows as well. Well of course we then wanted to have them fitted at the back of the house too and “phase three” has just been completed! We love the shutters. The rooms appear bigger and brighter and more contemporary. Tim and Liz have been excellent all the way through, from the measuring up to the ordering and then the actual fitting with a friendly and professional service from beginning to end.

We had shutters supplied and fitted by the window shutter company to a large square bay window. Tim gave superb advice regarding the style of the shutters, the communication was faultless, the shutters took a long time to arrive due all the covid complications but they were well worth the wait. Fitting was quick and very efficient and the finished product is superb. We are very pleased with them.

As you would expect, when looking to make such a large purchase and have shutters installed at your property, I obtained 4 quotes, including one from The Window Shutter Company.  Tim provided an open, honest and detailed quote and explanation of what to expect and whilst they did not come in at the cheapest price, the quality and service was well worth paying for. At no time did we feel pressured with Tim answering all of our questions.  Liz kept us informed all the way along as to when the fitting would take place. Tim came to fit and you would not have even known he had visited, Tim took every care and attention to ensure the shutters were fitted to perfection and since installing, we have got him back to fit some other shutters on the rest of the property, to complete the whole house.  I have already recommended The Window Shutter Company to several friends and family and would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

I would recommend, arrived on time and fitted with no fuss. Left the place clean and tidy. Price as quoted.
