One of the best corporate day events ive been on.

Well structured from start to finish with great leadership and organisation. The day flowed from hard-core military training right through to an incredibly relaxing meditation.

The day went like clockwork and the team made sure that all involved were looked after and were very respectful of everyone's fitness level and individual capacity.

There were some great lessons on Resilience, leadership and team work as well as a chance to speak with the team Individually with personal goals and questions.

Would thoroughly recommend to any company looking for an impactful and fun way to implement practical and long lasting team building and leadership skills.

i paid for numerous course to which i have not been able to complete down to a a lack of communication clearly company gone bust while taking money off people!

I finished level 2 + 3 PT earlier this year, and from the looks of it, I finished just in time for them to go bust. I have been trying to contact them to use the extra courses I was promised if I took the course. But no website will work, emails won’t get replied to and no phones work. So like everyone else, I’m feeling slightly scammed that I won’t get exactly what I paid for. I wish I could get compensation on this, but there’s no way to even contact them.

As for the course, it wasn’t dreadful but it needed a lot of improvement, and I was frustrated often.

The communication is absolutely aweful. There hasn't been a response whether by email or through the portal for the last 3 weeks. And the phones lines are all cut off, so we can't even communitcate that way.

They were great with the sign on process but then it tanked. It's been very stressful as I need this to try and get my life on track, and the lack of response is very fustrating.

I only have 5 things left that need to be graded which in a way makes it worst. I am signed up for another course with them as I bought the bundle but I don't want to do that now as this has just been abismal.

Absolutely awful company!!!!! Avoid at all costs

Signed up and paid for a package to include two additional courses which was told recently wouldn’t be fulfilled by the company, misled in to joining with this company and there’s clearly a breach of contract

Customer service are so poor and won’t respond to any more enquiries

Signed up to complete my Level 2 gym instructing and Level 3 personal training along with the “Wellness Coaching”package. Had a really positive experience to begin with. About 5 weeks into studying my Level 2 Gym instructing I received a very dissapointing email saying that due to unforeseen circumstances they were no longer able to deliver the course I originally booked. I then spoke with one of the course advisors (Shaun) who very apologetically explained that they weren’t able to update the course content (there had been some changes to the ciriculum) in time for when I was expected to finish the course. Seems very strange excuse not sure how true it is. I did have the option of completing my Level 2 qual with them and then going to another provider for the rest. Or take a full refund and not complete the Level 2 qual, this is the option I took and I did receive all my money back. Very strange experience and frustrating to have to start from scratch. I’d recommend going to another , more well established provider ! Definetly avoid!!

I want to echo some of the reviews below in expressing how awful my experience has been with THFI.

It started out strong. I started my course in December 2024 and the first few months ticked over nicely. They then brought the deadline forward by 3 months and said they couldn’t deliver much of what I signed up for. They stopped replying to emails and never returned any calls (I tried so many times). I feel like I’ve been scammed.

I requested a refund based on a) the fact that they broke the contract we agreed upon by not delivering the full course(s) I was paying for and b) broke their own code of conduct regarding contact, replying and assessment feedback. They left me in the lurch and after months of trying to get an answer, they eventually told me I would not be getting any refund, not even part of it.

I’m on to trading standards about them because they need to be called out.

I used have a dozen different WiFi’s across my course
WiFi’s that were used for remote working without problem
Yet not a single video that I recorded within all the recommended criteria would upload
This would mean that I would have to find other means to send my assignment(s) which drew out the marking process so so much. It would mean on occasion it took 3-4 to receive feedback when there policy is 5 working days.
Then when I would try and contact them instead of receiving there suggestions of a reply in 24 hours it would take more like 5 days for a email reply. If I then tried calling them to get a quicker reply. Nobody from the team would answer my call ‘currently too busy’ when I called straight after opening up. I requested a callback but it was never returned. I have been left to feel that this company is solely concerned on expansion and does not care about the customers it currently has.

I am still a student for the next 7 weeks and I would like to complete the qualification that I am paying for. I would like and hope to change my review at the end of these next 7 weeks but would just like to feel the bare minimum support first.

Course Review: Elite Fitness Package – 12 month

I enrolled in the Elite Fitness Package from THFI (The Health Fitness Institute), which was advertised as a comprehensive 12-month online program. It included a Gym Instructor course, Personal Trainer certification, Level 4 Nutrition, a year-long mentorship, the ability to retake assessments, and enough flexibility to complete everything within a year.

Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. I started the course in December with every intention of completing it by the following November, within the promised 12-month period. However, I was abruptly informed that my access would now expire on August 31st, giving me only 12 weeks to finish everything—far less than what was originally agreed upon.

To make matters worse, THFI removed the additional courses that were part of my original package and offered a £200 reduction as compensation, which doesn’t come close to covering the value or inconvenience. The new, shortened timeframe is simply unrealistic and unfair, especially for a course that was sold with the promise of flexibility and a full year to complete.

Had I known the offer was subject to such drastic changes, I would not have enrolled. I cannot recommend this course to anyone looking for a reliable or transparent online fitness education provider.

I had a great experience up until about 2 months ago when they, although I had confirmed in February I had a year to complete my certification, turned around and said I had to be finished in August - 3 months out. I started moving quickly through my course, but I’m getting nothing. My papers aren’t being graded, emails aren’t being replied to. I do not understand how they think you should be able to complete anything, if they can’t provide you with the help you need or even grading on time to meet deadlines. I have been given no compromise for their broken promise. At this point, I don’t see myself getting my diploma I paid nearly £2000 for, only because they can’t provide - not because I couldn’t do it quickly enough.
I waited nearly a week for an email back (with several questions in it), and the reply I received was “call our customer service and we’ll help you”. Well, I don’t have a UK number - please just reply to my email. I’m super upset.

Basically committed fraud. I don't know if the company has gone under or not, but they have shortened all deadlines, have ignored every email and phone call I attempt, and won't respond

Please do not use

Don’t really know what’s happening with this company but they turned around one day and said they couldn’t fulfil courses and shortened all the deadlines. Meanwhile they don’t reply to emails and won’t grade work that’s been with them for weeks.

It’s just a waist time with this company. Worse experience with people who sell lying for you to sign and make you waist your time . Bad bad bad

They live up to their ethos that this is not just a certificate but a career. THFI really strives to provide not only the information but holding up high standards during assessments which are thorough and beyond what other general providers do. They do not settle for basic fitness but always make sure the PTs are well rounded in their knowledge. Everyone from the sales rep Candice to Shaun at support and Jo the instructor have been brilliant and helpful.

really supportive staff, helped me every week with live support sessions and had a community feel. Offered in person assessments and felt proud to be part of such a well rounded and sophisticated community, the customer service was great and easy to get in contact with as well.

What an amazing group of professionals!! Had the pleasure of meeting some of the THFI team yesterday on my level 2 practical assessment day and I cannot praise these guys enough. Their level of professionalism is second to none, very friendly and cannot do enough to make you feel comfortable.

The whole company is full of amazing people who want the very best for each of their candidates. Customer Service manager Shaun is simply incredible with any queries/questions you may have on the course and does everything he can to put your mind at ease and focus on the tasks ahead. Top Top guy!

As for the teachers/instructors.. simply amazing. If your looking for expert education and learning you need to look no further than Jo and Wayne. Having the chance to meet these two on my practical assessment was a blessing, you soon realise how professional and knowledgeable these guys are.

Looking forward to finishing my level 3 course, then moving on to my two level 4 course I booked. Absolutely no chance I will look for another training provider.

After speaking to Greg, it sounds like THFI have some very exciting projects in the pipeline and I for sure will be looking to capitalise on these opportunities to improve my skills etc and knowledge.

Absolute 5 star service!!!

My advisor Candice was just amazing to deal with, she explained everything clearly and was able to answer questions I had and put me at ease with a few things that were putting me off going for this qualification. I spoke with a few other training providers who didn't manage to convince me I was doing the right thing.
The course is amazing value for money and the process of getting started was straight forward and smooth.

Candice was incredible, a real asset to the company. Very professional and helpful when talking through my options. I have just signed up to the course and excited to start.
