Superb trip to Costa Rica. We were very well looked after by our drivers and guides. We stayed in 3 hotels, all of which were excellent. Our schedule was put together with our request to see as much wildlife as possible and we were delighted to see everything we wanted, although not always where you thought to look! Already planning our next trip which will be our 3rd with THG Holidays.

Outstanding service. This is the second holiday I’ve booked with THG the customer service provided was the best I’ve had so far and I will definitely be returning to book other holidays with them.

We traveled to Iceland with T.H.G Holidays on 12th March 2022. The information they supplied was brief and confusing. We expected evening meals as the itinerary stated “ four nights meals “. The hotel accepted this as meaning an evening meal but when they checked we were refused. We relied on another couple on the tour as they had received a proper brochure. The other people on the tour were as ill informed as we were. At least the couple with the brochure had a phone number when we were half an hour late being picked up on the first morning. The description in our emailed itinerary was so brief as to be misleading. No way would we have embarked on a glacier hike. We are in our seventies and I have mobility issues. We expected a special snow vehicle to take us to The Ice Cave. We did not expect to have to walk in single file in difficult underfoot conditions having been warned of the dangers of not staying in line. The guide in my opinion was bullying me and it was only after being challenged by others in the group that she offered assistance. It was an awful experience although for others more agile than me the scenery was amazing.
I cannot fault the hotels but the distance from the Grand Hotel to the centre was a 45 minute walk. The holiday was advertised as a tour so we expected a guide to meet us at the airport. As it was we had to wait for transfers the details of which were again unclear and involved transferring luggage from a large coach to a smaller one. This meant further waiting. As a result of this experience we will not travel with T.H.G again.

Was about to book a holiday to Thailand. Phoned them to get an amendment for the flight element. Got the price which seemed reasonable -then received an unexpected "service charge" for the 0845 phone call to their sales team in my phone bill (I have all inclusive calls). Decided not to book with them - ever.

We recently travelled to Jordan through THG Holidays (subcontracted to Travco Jordan)
Not only had the holiday been very well organised and we were kept informed about developments constantly, but the Jordanian subsidiary provided us with an excellent guide and driver for the duration of our tour.
Our guide was so motivated (and spoke excellent English) that he even helped out where the local guides were unable to help us.
I cannot recommend these companies any higher.

We haven’t had the holiday yet but plans got off to a great start, thanks to the helpfulness of staff at THG. They were readily available on the phone and took time to carefully discuss all our options with us. It made the whole planning and booking so much easier and more pleasant to have a friendly human voice at the other end of the line.

Unbelievable, brilliant company to deal with, very warm and friendly, would highly recommend.

We booked in July 2019 via Secret Escapes for March 2020 paying the full amount of £4000 . 3 nights in Cambodia 12 in Vietnam.
We realised in February 2020 that this would be a problem and tried to rearrange or cancel but THG weren’t having any of it said we had to go or loose all our money .
Of course we can’t blame THG for the pandemic but we can blame then for their reaction to it and their subsequent behaviour .
We were abandoned in Cambodia and had to make our own way home and then have been unable to claim any refund from them as we paid for a holiday to Vietnam and the closet we got to the country was the airport .
Don’t make our mistake and book with them we were very let down and of course completely out of pocket by the whole experience .

I booked with THG for a summer break to the Maldives which was cancelled due to covid. It was a dream trip and I was so disapointed as we had been waiting a year! The THG staff were absolutely incredible. I managed to speak with someone every single time without fail whenever I had a query. They managed to move my trip without any hesitation. The customer service I received was nothing short of exemplary. They really do care for their customers and it shows. All updates were made very clear. Very impressed with THG and will be booking every trip with them in future!

Fantastic service over this C-19 disruption. I have never once doubted their consideration for their customers. A horrible period made better by companies like this.

Due to the latest pandemic, our holiday was cancelled by THG. I appreciate we are in the same situation as many other people... but sadly we lost out by booking through this company as everyone else with other companies received a full refund. As a THG Holidays customer I was charged a cancellation charge. We lost £360 with this company when the law states we should not have lost anything. I would prefer to go to a company who will look after its customers in future. Very disappointed and would definitely not use again or recommend to anyone.

As our travel plans were cancelled due to Coronavirus, we unfortunately have not had the pleasure of travelling with this holiday company. However, their management and communication in handling the cancellation and processing our refund have been exceptional. A very fast, efficient and understanding team of people work there - a refreshing change and a far superior service to the big holiday companies. We would not hesitate in booking our holidays with them in future and would strongly recommend them.

Lovely destinations. Reasonable prices....... what’s not to love?????
Customer service and lies that’s what. Due to the latest pandemic, our holiday was cancelled, Ok we’re in the same boat as everyone else. Sadly not the case, everyone else gets a full refund. THG Holidays customers are charged a cancellation charge. We lost £226 with this company when the law states we should not have lost anything. I would prefer to go to a company who will look after its customers and recognise that the way forward is to keep the customers they have and not make them want to look elsewhere to rebook.

We have had to amazing trips booked with THG , one to Borneo and another to Cambodia & Vietnam , the hotels and private tours were fantastic, a lifetime of memories made , look forward to booking the next one !!

We booked to go to Sri Lanka through THG holidays. From the start this was very easy and well organised. The trip itself was wonderful and everything went really smoothly. I would definitely recommend this experience
