Quick, easy & painless.

The process was so quick and easy.
The test arrived 48 hours after I ordered it, I did the blood test (auto draw) the next day. It was easy and completely painless, retuned the test that day, received my results the following evening. The results are shown as a graph and with a detailed description from a doctor.
I discovered a deficiency that my GP had not tested for.
Brilliant service.

Feeling conned.

The (thyroid) blood test itself and posting process is seamless, however the feedback I received was very basic and just referred me to my normal GP. I contacted my GP and they said I needed an NHS blood test, which was initially something I wanted to avoid. They don’t seem to take private results which is hugely disappointing, so I’m back at the start. Wasted £100 on a blood test that I need redoing anyway. I wouldn’t recommend. Don’t waste your money. PLUS! They have the cheek to ask for £30 extra to get a plan of action for me.

We completely understand how frustrating it is to pay for a private test, only to then be told you’ll need repeat NHS bloods before your GP can take any action.

A helpful bit of context is that Thriva isn’t a diagnostic service, and we can’t replace a GP’s clinical care. Our tests are designed for tracking and prevention, helping you spot changes over time and understand what might be worth discussing. Your GP is responsible for diagnosing and prescribing treatment. Because NHS labs and GP systems use their own processes and reference ranges, and need results they can formally record within their pathway, some practices will still request an NHS blood test even when you’ve had private results done elsewhere.

That said, your Thriva results shouldn’t be “wasted”. They can still be a useful starting point for a more informed conversation with your GP, helping to highlight what to re-check and what to monitor.

On the “£30 plan of action” point, we hear you. This is completely optional and is there for customers who would like additional clinical guidance alongside their results. If you’re already speaking with your GP, you may decide you don’t need this extra support, and that’s absolutely fine.

Really impressed with Thriva

Really impressed with Thriva. The whole process from ordering to getting results was straightforward - no hassle at all. The blood withdrawal kit is foolproof; I was nervous about doing it at home, but their instructions made it so simple I got a full sample on the first go. The app has a clean interface, easy to navigate, and you get your results there with proper context. I like that a doctor actually reviews your results and leaves detailed notes about what everything means for your health. That really adds credibility and makes you feel like someone’s actually looking at your numbers, not just spitting out data. Highly recommend if you want insight into your health without the clinic visit hassle.

Blood Test booked through Thriva

Thriva are a great Company. I recently had a Blood test booked through them. Everything was straightforward and i was kept informed through the process. I received a detailed report regarding my results, with recommendations for my GP. I would use them again definitely.

5-stars! The process was very efficient & smooth. I ordered a blood sample test but made a typo mistake when sending it back. Nevertheless, a customer service agent named Holly was very helpful & attentive. She sorted this problem out efficiently. Thank you!

Unbelievably fast turn around

Unbelievably fast turn around, simple easy to use app and dashboard, gave me credit when a test was inconclusive, communication is appropriate and not too much or overly sales based. Top tier service.

Generally good company but response time poor

Communication response times poor. Generally good company with reliable tests if done correctly. However, only 3 stars as I find it extremely frustrating that communication takes 48hours and then it's taje another day to ship .
They should really have a live chat facility so that issues are resolved quickly. Especially when the auto draw hasn't worked and a replacement is needed.

At Thriva, we take privacy and security extremely seriously because your results contain sensitive medical information. Even if we’ve contacted you by email before, we’re required to verify that the person accessing the results is the account holder. This extra step is there to protect your health data and prevent unauthorised access.

It looks like Holly from our support team has already been in touch via your support ticket. Once you confirm your details with her, she’ll be able to complete the verification process and make sure you can access your results as soon as possible.

The separate email regarding a doctor consultation is an optional service it isn’t required to view your results, and your results will be available without any additional payment.

We appreciate you raising your concerns, and we’ll do our best to get this resolved quickly for you.

Best medical support company without a doubt

My third time using Thriva which in itself says everything you need to know. The vacuum blood collection system is simply genius. It makes collecting a sample so easy and painless.
The turnaround for results couldn’t be quicker and consultations and advice measured and detailed.
You can’t go wrong with this company.

Very poor

Nutritionist recommended Thriva. Ordered blood test kit, followed instructions and watched video. Taking blood sample with their device did not work. I contacted them to explain what happened and that after many many blood tests over the years that I am very difficult to take blood from. They sent me another kit with some extra guidance. Did not work! Complete waste of £73!

While our aim is to make testing more accessible and comfortable, we do recognise that home sampling isn’t always successful for everyone. We’re pleased our team was able to arrange two complimentary replacement kits in an effort to get a successful sample. As we were still unable to process your test, we’ve issued a refund for the testing fees. As mentioned, this excludes the £15 cost of the kit itself, as this is non-returnable once dispatched.

We’re genuinely sorry we couldn’t deliver the experience we strive for, and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to try to make it right.
