"Unsorted" grade timber had large knot which had already fallen out :-(
I purchased a small amount of Scandinavian Redwood. This is advertised as "unsorted" grade but one of the boards I received had a large knot that had fallen out of the edge (I didn't spot this until I started working with the wood).
Despite choosing available "shop" standard sizes, rather than using the custom cutting service, this still (perhaps) took two week to prepare which seemed slow (I had assumed this was a matter of gathering a few standard size boards and telling me to come collect them. I say "perhaps" because the supplier didn't actually contact me to let me know I could come and collect the timber - I had to contact them to ask.
I was quite disappointed to be honest. I had used Timbersource once before (some years ago when they were based in Frome) and was very happy on that occasion.

Project is to refresh balcony slats. Suitable timber was available from Timbersource. Just need to cut to length and skim 2mm for correct thickness. Ideal wood for task.
Delivery company failed to deliver on the due date (so 2 days waiting for the delivery) but this does not detract from the quality of the product.

Perfect solution to my problem
I needed a short piece of softwood to replace a section of flooring that had been cut too short by a previous owner of my house. My options seemed to be to buy far more wood than I needed or to pay an extortionate price for delivery of a small piece. Timbersource had the perfect solution. A board cut exactly to size and delivered free within 48 hours.

Helpful sales rep
Placed order online. Timbersource called me to discuss my options, because the wood I requested couldn't be sourced at this time. We went through what I would be using it for and the sales rep was very helpful in providing alternative options at the same price.
Wood arrived cut to the exact size I needed and looks great (used as part of some garden structures being built outside).
