I've spent 7 years travelling in & out of Canada & never once experienced the service delays that we have here in the UK.
Called into the new store in Mansfield Nottinghamshire, 2 people in front of me that had just ordered 1 drink each, the time was 07:00, the drive thru had very little traffic, I placed my order at 07:12 for a breakfast wrap & French vanilla (don't do English Toffee here 😞)

I got my order at 07:30..... about time the UK stores picked up the pace, Canadians don't put up with the slow pace, why should we?

Slow, not clean and food cold like rubber

Not clean, workers jumping on the bins to get more in outside, food cold and tasteless. My first and last experience of this place. Don’t think this place will be open long.

Daughter waited another 5 mins to get the sauces we ordered, she gave up. staff were absent and really disinterested. Shame

I never make comments, but this experience was so poor and seriously bad value for money

Excited to visit Tim Hortons today at tge Trafford Centre. It was extremely busy and everything looked great. Decided to order 2 donuts and compare them with Krispy Kreme. Well, £2.99 for one donut seemed expensive but let's hope it's better than KK. I was very dissapointed, tge lemon cream is OK but won't be returning to buy any donuts in the future. Krispy Kreme are way better than Tim Hortons donuts.

Treating the Grandchildren

I brought my grandchildren to the new Tim Hortons store in Portadown, Co.Armagh. We were very disappointed. Difficult to negotiate the screen to order exactly what the children wanted. Staff too busy talking to each other!
The portion size was poor, e.g. 5 chicken tenders, tiny pieces of chicken £5.99! We ordered portion of brown sauce and portion of Ketchup 50p each! On delivery of the order there was no brown sauce on the tray and had to go back to the counter. The assistant then told me “ we don’t do brown sauce”! That’s strange I said because you charged for it. After several minutes discussion among the staff the sauce appeared. In hindsight we should have gone to McDonalds across the road.
Over priced, poor quality, poor service, cannot see this chain succeeding. They need to up their game .

Tim Hortons...dreadful food.

Dreadful food at the Birmingham New Street branch. First time I have been to Tim Hortons and would not go again. The Nacho chilli burger. The burger tasted and looked like it had been cooked hours before and kept in warm water until it was served. It was grey and pretty much tasteless with an unpleasant greasy water tangy. The lattice fries were soggy, cold and mostly undercooked. The hotdog was marginally better. Over all not a great introduction the Tim Hortons and I won't be going to this or any other branch again.

Wow!!

Wow!!! Visited the new Tim Hortons at Oldbury and what an unpleasant waste of my time and indeed lots of money, the double classic burger was just a mess of microwaved grey gristle and not even on par with a £1 rustler burger believe me, and that embarrassing excuse for a burger was £5.99 for burger alone! This was a dark time for me and I urge every and all to please avoid this pit of monstrously expensive dog food and simply hop out the door 10 yards and just pick up a McDonald's double cheeseburger for £1.59, if zero or negative stars were available it would be so.

Exam Results day Meal

Visited the Bentley Bridge branch for exam results day. When we got home we realised the food was not only not in the original packaging the order was incorrect and it was wrapped in kitchen foil. The food did not taste good it didn’t taste fresh it tasted like it had been reheated. Have visited Tim Hortons Bentley Bridge a few times so this was totally unexpected and not a pleasant experience.

Visited Braintree Drive-Thru today, staff were miserable and obviously not happy in their work! Flat Whites were disgusting, something I’d expect out of a machine.. oh wait they were out of a machine, and they have the front to charge what they do for basically dish water!! The chocolate milk shake wasn’t much better, basically chocolate milk and not even cold!! Will never visit again, disgusting service and disgusting drinks….

We’ve been using Tim Hortons since it opened at lakeside, usually ok but never over helpful . Till today it’s a shame we look forward to our weekly or fourtnightly food out
We ordered on the screens as always then payment comes up error so we tried again no good even tried a different screen , so we asked the staff for help which wasn’t forthcoming as they was busy talking to each other we explained our problem and the response was must be broken then and turned away to chat to mate again so we now won’t be returning to Tim hortons which will be a shame but treated like a dog isn’t for us and we tend to vote with our feet

Looked forward to this ordered a maple syrup burger meal, crispy chicken sandwich and two iced latte with semi skimmed milk. The burger was smaller than a 99p Mcdonalds the lattice fries some were overcooked and some under, the chicken sandwich had a hash brown in it that was greasy and tasteless and the iced lattes were tasteless and obviously made with water and not milk. Overall will not be returning.

So disappointed, awful

So, having family in Canada I've always
been a fan of Tim's so was so excited that
one was opening in Plymouth UK. Queued to get in and ordered, food came swiftly and
there was the problem, everything had
been prepped well in advance. Burger
was dry, cold and looked like it had been
under a steam roller, half the lattice fries
were uncooked and half over. The French
vanilla coffee was lukewarm and
so sweet, my Canadian dreams
were shattered, was this really what I
remembered. I had taken a friend with me
and I was thoroughly embarrassed that l
have recommended it. I most certainly
won't be rushing back, absolutely gutted
that it was so poor. Unless they get their
act together, they won't be open for long

Terrible

Went to the new Tim Hortons in Plymouth yesterday. Now i understand they will be busy having just opened but if they want return customers they need to concentrate on quality not quantity served. Our hot meals at the drive through were terrible. They were cold, had ingredients missing and looked like they had been assembled by a blind monkey. Clearly they had rushed making it well in advance so they could just throw it out as quickly as possible to sell as much as possible without any thought going into quality. Also ordered a box of donuts but weren't allowed to choose our own flavours as we were told the boxes had been pre-assembled and we would get what we would get. Need to change quickly if you want to keep people coming back. We've already told our friends not to bother and I'm sure were not alone.

Customer service here is absolutely shocking! Arrived at the drive through are we’re totally ignored for about 5 minutes while people arrived at the next drive though after us a were served. The toilets are filthy. We were asked to park because our food wasn’t ready and it took 15 minutes before we then had to go and fetch the food, only to find our order was wrong. My son then went to return it and reordered, which was wrong again, and finally the maple syrup carton had the previous days used by date on. Just awful!!

Having visited Tim Hortons in Canada…

Having visited Tim Hortons in Canada several times we were always greeted by such friendly staff and served very efficiently. So we were delighted when Tim Hortons opened a store in Merry Hill close to where we live. We visited yesterday and I was absolutely horrified at the service we received. We ordered 3 donuts and 3 drinks. There was 1 person before us to be served and we had to wait 20 minutes for our order to be prepared and served to us. There was about 6 staff behind the counter but not one of them communicated with each other and they all seemed to be dithering about doing futile jobs - 1 girl put a coffee pot/urn on top of a machine then took it off and put it back up again and continued to do this for over 10 minutes. After we had stood and waited for 15 minutes one of the girls told me they had no Boston Creme donuts left but if I really wanted one they did have some round the back!! Of course I really wanted one, I wouldn’t have ordered one if I didn’t!! The level of service is dreadful there and there was a queue of people snaking through the store right out into the car park by the time I finally got my order. Not once was I offered an apology for the time it had taken to prepare my order. I was so disappointed with my experience there. The bins in store were overflowing and tables weren’t being cleared/cleaned after customers left. The staff would benefit by working as a team and communicating with each other and also they could learn a great deal about customer service like the Canadian staff do and take pride in their jobs. A massive improvement is needed in this store.

Try harder Tim Hortons

Been trying out the food on offer over the last few days. Donuts are run of the mill and breakfast muffin was dry and lukewarm and hash brown burned and tasteless. I’m really disappointed as My Tim Hortons experiences in Canada definitely would result in a 4 star easily…
Only thing I like so far is the coffee.

Avoid Merry Hill Tim Horton's

We used Merry Hill Tim Hortons and it was disgusting. Waited over 10 minutes for our food and then they got order wrong. No one else in restaurant. Hot dog was just ok but the burger was disgusting, tasted like a cheap rip off burger and I'm not even sure it was actually meat (could have been a veggie patty). It looked very pale and not at all like a beefburger and tasted awful. We threw it away.
Was looking forward to trying TH but never again - save your money and go elsewhere.

A great experience that challenged my preconceptions of Canadian value, quality, and good service

I thought Canadians were nice polite people's, with wholesome food and an appreciation for value. So imagine my surprise when I visited Tim Hortons on Argyle Street in Glasgow earlier today and had my preconceptions thoroughly challenged. Not only were the staff contemptuous, but the fantastically expensive, lukewarm, and poor quality food really challenged my stereotypical view of Canadian fast-food outlets. Thank you Tim Hortons. Even the moderately acceptable coffee and stale TimBits managed to challenge my world view of these famous staples of the Horton household. With my order of food ordered at the most unresponsive kiosk terminal known to non-gender-specific-kind (again all contributing to the overall immersive experience), I waited longingly for a taste of Canada to be made available. Now that I know that the order was sent to Canada first for processing before being transmitted back to Glasgow for making, it makes the wait worthwhile. And talking of the technology, if you visit a Tim Hortons, remember when the number on the screen shows that your food is ready for collection, it really means that the food has only started to be prepared for you and you still have 15 minutes to wait. That could frustrate the more impatient diner, but for us, it added to the thrill of the unknown. With food eventually collected, we proceeded down to the dungeon dining area (sans tray for an added adrenaline injection) using the sticky floors for added grip as we wobbled downwards with food balanced precariously underarm. Once in the seating area, we looked for the least likely location to be confronted by a native asking for the code for the toilet door lock. Again, this was an unexpected experience and delighted to have been rewarded with access to an evil escape room where the toilet roll has to be won rather than granted. And that's why there were no napkins to be found - we had to earn them with our wits and logic rather than assume they would just be made available. Genius. With the prepackaged aioli garlic dip outshining every other part of the culinary tasting menu, we finished our meal with gusto in anticipation for the exciting climb back to civilisation. Overall, a fantastic and enlightening experience that challenged my view of Canadian food and the stereotype that I once held for good quality and good value fast food from Tim Hortons. Thank you so much for the experience. Sadly, with the lesson learned, there's no need to go rushing back and instead will look forward to an experience with a big whopper during my next visit to Glasgow.
