This App is a disgrace and a centre of prostitution and women trafficking. Apart from that, there is a constant campaign of harassment against me without any cause. Blocks and forcing me to go through photo scans and other nonsense. These crooks want to take your DNA to identify you soon. Avoid it, it's expensive and garbage. And they don't want to refund you. Scammers in 1 word.

Most people don’t message you or it’s most likely a dude posing as a girl or females just trying to get you to subscribe to their OF this app is broken and has no moderators to clean the scum from the app so it’s only for the girls that get over 100 likes a day and be only going for the 10% that wants nothing to do w them 😂

Tinder has many great matches and I had good conversations. There are those that match with you just to get you to match and than they unmatch you to boost their visibility. Or they accidentally matched and unmatch as soon as you match without saying anything.. It sucks. But there are just as much matches with good people. I like the international options. Profile options are a bit limited.. I find the pricing doable.

Awful. Paid the subscription. All my likes are apparently from people that live miles away. If I could give it no stars I would. Waste of money.

70% of the profiles are FAKE.

How do I know this - it's what is totally known by all staff working at the Tinder headquarters and that we are told to NOT tell the outside world.

Good old tinder is the most decent dating app out of all - it aims to connect people while bumble tries to earn money.

Signed up for Tinder paid the subscription. Zero matches in 160 km radius. Very few profiles to swipe on. Halfway through my subscription I get an error message saying I logged in too many times. Went through all the troubleshooting steps with their team they couldn’t figure it out, so basically I was told too bad so sad waste money waste of time!!!!

Used online site only, not the app. Paid for gold one week then another two separately. Total yield: one real match that translated into chat & two disastrous irl dates (other person didn’t know what they wanted, too much baggage). Three other matches, one money scammer and other two did not engage after matching.

Site was ok functionally for me, but low match with real ppl is frustrating, since it’s the main reason for using it. This is not really the fault of Tinder, but the reality of online interactions.

Ok for entertainment value, some profiles are good for a laugh. A good number of fakes, prostitutes, OF & IG “models” and scammers, but they are pretty easy to spot unless you’re totally gullible.

Many of the real profiles suffer from delusions of grandeur, trite political pontification, or sexual puritanism and are very judgmental with sky high standards (“must have a least two years in therapy” 😆😂), while themselves being mid at best (they are 10s in their own minds, of course)

A high percentage of women looking for husbands have totally highjacked the site and turned it into Christian mingle/Atheist mingle 🤣

Good for filling in boring moments.. If you want matches, build a good profile, like a ton of real people and be patient, you may get lucky. Gold plan is all you need.

❌ Locked out of my account after being verified – no real support

I got my Tinder account verified with the blue check, used it for a few days, and then got suddenly locked out for “suspicious behavior”.

I completed the Photo Check again, even sent extra manual photo proof (including a specific pose). I contacted support multiple times and only received the same copy-paste replies. Eventually I was told they “can’t help me further”.

I haven’t broken any rules, I’m a real person, and I did everything they asked. Yet I’m permanently locked out.

Tinder needs to take accountability and offer actual human support – this automated system is completely broken.

I’m extremely disappointed and feel treated unfairly.

Save your money and use FaceBook “Dating” - It’s FREE and it’s WAY better because there are so many members to choose from
Tried TINDER dating site because of all the hype I’ve seen in the media and boy was I bamboozled!
- Got only 1 “Like” in almost 2 weeks
On any other site I’ve gotten about 10 “Likes” per week
- The selection consists of about 15 - 20 “Matches” per member and they just keep repeating those choices, even though you’ve already X’d them out as possible Matches
- TINDER is the most expensive site I’ve tried and in order to get any possible connections, you are forced to pay for everything above and beyond their monthly fee of $50CAD
Even POF Free Member is better than TINDER

I had a tinder gold subscription. I have paid for it, tinder have sent me emails acknowledging it. Then suddenly they cancelled it and they refuse to do anything about it. They have taken my money amd not delivered the product. In my book that is theft.

For me my experience I didn’t find it a very good site especially for an African-American male perspective. Majority of the women are there Caucasian I did however send a lot of likes. I say well over 100 and I’m a decent guy. I work hard. I’m feeling a travel a lot and I have money I don’t come off as being rude or abrasive. I think I receive maybe two likes and of the two likes. I set up dates and they both flaked so I don’t think it’s a good site especially if you’re a man of color pacifically African-American I wouldn’t recommend it.

Was banned for no reason. They took my money and charge me and didn’t give me a reason of why I was banned . I will be taking legal actions and dispute the charge with my bank

Absolute nightmare. Buggy platform. I created an account, started matching and sending messages, and without no explanation the account was blocked twice a week, l had to verify and video verify my account soo often. It was a nuisance, the video verification did not work properly, l had to re-load it approx 5 times before it started working. Messages with matches disappeared all the time. And the worst - the customer service is a living nightmare. Nobody actually helps you, they just copy-paste brainless responses, probably bots. I sent 20+ complaints about my account being shut down again, asking for help or explanation. Stupid answers, no actual help. Frustrating.

Scammers beware of the tricks
I cancelled my subscription but still charging weekly without me knowing that

If I could give this a 0, I would. The customer service team is extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. I was banned for no reason. It took me a year and a half to finally get something outside of a generic quick message. Quoting a policy violation. When asked multiple times, I received only that I remain banned. Being a cis-passing transwoman who had it in my profile that I am trans, I have been mistreated by cis, het men whom I matched with. I am assuming someone was upset I didn't reply in time or that I was trans and reported me. Tinder provided no support. No help. And when I finally got the policy out of them, it was that I was promoting sex work or asking for money from men for sex. Seems based on Reddit, both trans women do get banned a lot. But also any pretty girl who doesn't reply or seems to be a fake profile is reported for being a sex worker. I work in policies and customer service. And to say the professionalism from the customer service is the weakest and most unprofessional and uncaring team I have ever interacted with would be putting it kindly. I asked for evidence on the claim of why I was banned, and they provided me with nothing. I asked to be unbanned, to be ignored, and was told the decision is final, and the email case will be closed. They proclaim they are queer inclusive, but based on Reddit and my own personal experience, they definitely are not. Truly disappointed in the customer service and their work ethic. I really hope they realize, based on all the low reviews, that they need to actually have a better customer service team who are actually willing to support their users.

The Tinder platform is severely compromised by an overwhelming presence of fake profiles (bots and scammers). For users seeking genuine connection, it is often a frustrating waste of time.
