Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 290 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people found the app's user experience poor, citing numerous glitches, account issues, and a significant decline in quality compared to previous years. Customers frequently encountered a high number of fake profiles, scammers, and accounts promoting other platforms, making genuine connections difficult. Reviewers also expressed dissatisfaction as paid features often did not deliver expected results or were removed without notice. However, some customers did report successful matches and good conversations, indicating the platform could facilitate connections for a few. Despite this, the quality of these matches was sometimes questioned, with some users struggling to find suitable partners.

if fake profiles is your thing, this app is for you

i used it a week now: the amount of fake profiles is astonishing. I see lots of pretty girls aged 45, who like traveling, yoga, golf and food. All of them have two pictures at most and then follow pictures of carbonades, flowers, landscapes. A lot of profile pictures are even AI generated. crap - it is of no use to use this app to find somebody genuine.

I matched with people who also had 'tinder gold' so they could see I was interested. ALL of them were looking 25 years younger than their profile stated they were, all were fakes and thought they could scam a lonely desperate fool. Come on.

Dating is dead

I tried Tinder for the first time at 38, after 18 years of marriage. It's terrible. Tons of bots, scams, almost no matches with real women. I'll try other apps.

I despair that I have to use these apps…

I despair that I have to use these apps at all. But the experience is made worse by the level of fake accounts and people pretending to be some ride off the internet. Surely there has to be a way to verify people better. Also I paid for an upgrade for a week and it didn’t update into my account. Went through Apple and tinder support. Apple refused refund and tinder literally washed their hands even though I’m sure they pocketed the money. It wasn’t much but I received zilch for it. So here I am writing a review of how crap they are.

Thief company who took advantage of Old people

I sign up back 2020 in tinder and I paid 160€ for platinum per year. I used it 1 year and somehow I lost my phone 2021 and since then they were charging me 160€ every year without my permission. So they charge me over 600€ in total yet I didn't meet anyone through this app as it's full of Fake or escorts or gold digger. I reported them and I let my lawyer fight with them although I had to pay lawyer much more but I felt I had to teach them a lesson

Gone bad

I think I’ve previously reviewed tinder and thought it was ok. This is an update and I’m afraid it’s gone bad. At least I suspect it has. I’ve signed to gold and have previously got a reasonably steady stream of likes (for a man). Ok I’m not Brad Pitt but I’ve noticed that I get very few likes even when I move myself to other regions (as I live in multiple areas). Also notice platinum being pushed for a crazy price so given this admittedly anecdotal evidence I will not be signing up again and would suggest you don’t either. 😘

Lets just admit it: the hype is over

As a mid forties woman....I can't even...not a normal convo is possible. Only thing people wanna know is : " what are you looking for" but thats not really a question, its Tinder lingo what means: do you also just wanna hookup. What a trash. Im based in Singapore.

Terrible app

Terrible app, deletes profiles all the time for no reason but doesn’t tell you it has or why. Also has the worst verification process. So many fake AI profiles and literally no customer service whatsoever . Use bumble or hinge instead.

This App is a disgrace and a centre of…

This App is a disgrace and a centre of prostitution and women trafficking. Apart from that, there is a constant campaign of harassment against me without any cause. Blocks and forcing me to go through photo scans and other nonsense. These crooks want to take your DNA to identify you soon. Avoid it, it's expensive and garbage. And they don't want to refund you. Scammers in 1 word.
