HEADS UP

HEADS UP. I suspect this company is a scam. They don't answer the phone nor email form. I lost 1600 EUR purchasing from their danish site. They still sell tickets, but be aware that you will not be able to get in contact if anything goes wrong. Try calling their emergency number (or any other number found on their site) if still not convinced. It's just an answering machine, you can't even leave a message.

Don't panic! 1 Year later I got my money back

Yes, I also thought I was going to lose all my money after my flight was cancelled (4 tickets with scales from Oporto to NY), but the truth is that with the pandemic all these types of companies are overwhelmed and we just have to understand, there are no miracles!

I joined this site a few months ago and got scared by the negative comments, but I clung to the few positive ones saying they waited a lot but they got their money back, and I kept hoping then...

And now, a year later I got all my money back!

Don't panic, you just need patience...

(And remember, the more emails you send, the more you crash their system!)

I bought a ticket on Tix.com to…

I bought a ticket on Tix.com to Istanbul, the transaction was made and i even got a message from my bank that money was taken out of my account.
Tix also sent me a receipt of the transaction.
The next day Tix canceled my flight and i didn't get my money back.
Talking with their customer care didn't help at all.
I would never use that site again

Awful company no accountability no refund for cancellations.

Tix and it's other companies tix.nl tix.fr tix.is tixtravelgroup - is thee worst travel site I've ever worked with.

They are a company which once they have your money will cut off all forms of communication and put you into a bot/on-line-form cycle to try and resolve THEIR issues.

My flights were canceled due to Covid restrictions in in early 2020, it's not late 2021 and the airline has told me they already reimbursed my tickets last year- which means tix has been sitting on my reimbursement for a year and are still refusing to reimburse or make any contact with me.

The worst online ticketing site EVER!!

This website has the worst services you can possibly imagine. They do not provide any insurance as they state on their website, no phone number to contact them (the ones listed on the site do not work). the only way of communicating is through email with rude customer service reps. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY A TICKET FROM THEM!!

They take your money then will not help

They take your money then will no help. I booked my tickets month in advance, day before I go to check in I am unable due to America not allowing European travellers to transit through the country. My flight is now within 24 hours. I contact gate1/tix the day they cannot help because my flight is in less then 24 hours. They won’t refund because my flight is still operational (to who?!) and is still “on time”, and won’t change my ticket since it leaves in less then 48 hours. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I have been waiting for 19months to go home and then the day before I leave I find out I’m not going anywhere and lost everything I paid already.

Booked through this fraud of an ‘online…

Booked through this fraud of an ‘online travel agent’ website Gate1.my (also known as Tix.nl Breda) after searching with Skyscanner & 20 hours to my flight departure time, I still have NOT received my flight reference number & e-ticket yet. Only have their confirmation trip ID which is useless since they’re not contactable. No customer service contact number. Emailed / completed their online form to enquire - still waiting for reply. Called the airline - they can’t trace my booking whatsoever. Can’t do online check in & have to fly out tomorrow urgently for an emergency but stuck with no ticket in sight. SO ANGRY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Don’t buy with Tix!!

Don’t buy with Tix. They changed the flights twice and the. finally canceled it, and we never got our money back. They don’t respond to “customer service” ( it doesn’t exist ). They make you pay for an insurance that will be useless. And on top of that, the only option you’ll have if you want to cancel after so many changes your flights ( even destinations! ) is to pay extra money to get your money back. Surreal. Don’t do it.

Just DONT !!! Stay away from Tix.nl

It is the worst company you could buy tickets from, so please dont do it. You will loose money just as i did.
Never refund, never reachable.
It is a ghost company that collects money, in a way that i am not sure it is legal. I am writing this review to help others not to loose their money and try to report them in as many sites as possible, including skyscanner.

!!BE AWARE, AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

Back in october 2020, I bought a plane ticket to South America with this so called company using their website called Gate1,ca I paid around 500$ for the ticket. Out of that amount, 111$ was for a piece of luggage.
Due to covid and the international borders closing, the flight was canceled. Since April 2020, because the Government of Canada has been helping the airlines to refund the passengers who have had their flights cancelled, I have been emailing back and forth a few times with Gate1,ca / Tix,nl requesting for a full refund.

Unfortunately, when you go on their website to request for a refund, Gate1,ca will charge you a 75$ fee to get your money back... On top of that, after contacting the airline, I learned that the airline never accepts luggage payments in advance; either you pay 24h before the flight or at the airport. The airline also told me that they issued a refund to Gate1,ca / Tix,nl for an amount of 370$. (So basically, the extra fee of 111$ for the luggage was never paid by Gate1,ca /Tix,nl to the airline and it is still sitting somewhere with Gate1,ca / Tix,nl)

Since then, I have been asking to Gate1,ca / Tix,nl about that 111$ and I havent received a single answer from them. So it seems that if I press the "request a refund" button on Gate1,ca / Tix,nl website, I will have to pay a 75$ fee and I will forfeit that 111$ (186$ total) to see part of my OWN money back for a service that was never rendered.
I am totally aware that the covid crisis has put a lot of pressure on all the businesses across the globe, but the way it was dealt with by Gate1,ca / Tix,nl made this experience a nightmare.

Save yourself from the hassle and book your flight directly with the airline or use a legitimate travel agency. You might end up paying a few dollars more, but if anything goes wrong, you know that you won't have to go through this.

On top of that, they don't have any phone number. The only contact is by email and can take weeks to have an answer.

Really bad service

Due to Corona I had to have a flight canceled. I could reuse the ticket before june 30 2021 by changing the date on my tix profile. So I did. Then had to wait 3 weeks for them to send a response. The change doesn't look like it happened. The tickets still state the previous date. When trying to get customer service to clarify; not getting response. I have email and used the form still no response. No phone number to call. Only 6 days before flight and still no response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
