Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service! I ordered my mum a Jimmy Somerville bundle for christmas, but was accidentally sent the wrong t shirt colour. I reached out to request an exchange at the busiest time of the year and they replied incredibly quickly letting me know they had sent the correct t shirt right away! The team also kindly offered me to keep the original tshirt which came as a gesture of good will. I was blown away by their prompt action and kindness, such a thoughtful team who clearly care about their customers!

The quality of the record is really bad
The quality of the record is really poor so was the packaging,I paid extra for a limited edition candy wrapped vinyl. only comparing this to other vinyls I buy. I was also seriously annoyed that I had to buy Kylie Minogue‘s single for her new hit Xmas and it not be on the fully wrapped album.

BUYER BEWARE!!! This seller advertises records that are not in stock, doesn’t tell you this before ordering and there has been no contact from the seller since ordering. This is m second review, my first seems to have been deleted! Ordered 3 vinyl LPs on Dec 8th as Christmas gifts. It is now January 8th and absolutely nothing, no vinyl, no contact - nothing! BEWARE!!! I would purchase from another seller - a reliable one who honours their orders. A complete waste of time. Shame on you, like a lot of people nowadays, you just want peoples money

We really hope you reply to our emails as we want to make sure you're happy with our service.
Upon checking your order, I see we've sent items via Royal Mail which are tracked as delivered.
Some items are sold on a drop ship service, meaning we need to order these in from the supplier to fulfil each order placed, and sometimes it can take time for the stock to reach us, but this information should be available to you in your account to see estimated dispatch dates.
Again we hope you respond to our team's emails so we can try to ensure you are happy with our company.

Good service/Very slow delivery
Have ordered numerous times from Townsend Music and never had any problems with delivery. But since I live orverseas most of the times delivery is very slow. Since postage is very expensive I expect delivery to be faster. Other sites have same postage costs and delivery is much faster as they send it by courier. I do not know why but Townsend Music charges 3 times as much for order to be sent by courier. I am still waiting for an order to arrive and it was dispatched on the 10th December. That is 20 days and still waiting.
I have upgraded my rating to 4 stars
Finally my order arrived and today I received a reply from TM regarding my earlier review.

Good Communication & Resolution of Missing Items
My experiences with TownsendMusic have always been good, having ordered from them (and artist shop-fronts hosted by them) a few times over the years both when living in UK and now in Canada.
I pre-ordered the CD & vinyl record versions of Levellers re-release of Zeitgeist a while back; upon dispatch it got lost in the Canadian post and diverted off to US (such is the efficacy of Canada Post), and they immediately replied back to me and arranegd the replacement, which managed to successfully arrive a few days later.
