Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 232 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers frequently complain that the staff constantly talk over the action during live matches, sharing irrelevant statistics instead of letting people simply watch the game in peace. Additionally, consumers find the monthly subscription fees extremely expensive, especially given how fractured and difficult the digital navigation and streaming services can be to use daily. Some reviewers were happy with the coverage, noting that certain sports broadcasts offered brilliant punditry, great commentary, and plenty of engaging content. Other individuals also appreciated having reliable access to specific events when the overall scheduling worked properly.

I think the package from tnt sports u…

I think the package from tnt sports u gave is good value for money.
My personal issue is with there commentators and co commentators in the pain Darren Fletcher and Ally McCoist.
All the former does is throw stats at you throughout any football match he us commentating on whilst the latter doesn't care who speaks as long as its Ally McCoist.
Both are a complete pain in the, backside so my simple solution is to mute the commentary when they are on.....SHEER BLISS 😁😁

Scheduling is absolute rubbish

TNT Sports scheduling is absolute rubbish.
I subscribe to TNT Sports (through Virgin) primarily to watch MotorGP and so far they have not managed to male genital that up.
However, I also follow WSBKs, SailGP and the Dakar Rally. I am sick to death of finding that they have either (1) moved the item to another channel (and for example: I have recorded fencing or Oz women's football) or dropped the coverage altogether. If they are going to carry on like this I shall kick them into touch and subscribe direct to the streaming channels for these sports

I don`t need to say any more.

Originally posted 9th September 2025, then because I changed the words Total by adding an l and a y, as that seemed to make more sense, they decided to delete that revised edited post.

0/5 terrible

Was told Amazon Prime was showing Arsenal v Portsmouth. Went on, clicked onto the game, it said it was on discovery that was 30.99 a month, I clicked to see what options there were - and with no acceptance by me, no consent, no confirmation they'd signed me up.

Love football

Love football, HATE with vengeance football presenters ruining every match with their non-stop talking about anything that enters there head. If they were next to me in the crowd at a match there would be a riot and maybe a death or 2. I wanna watch football without their opinion of the game which by the way I can see for myself (I can understand that blind people can visualise the match, but these idiot aren't even describing the match or what's going on). Sack that rubbish and invest in Crowd only option or maybe 1 presenter just naming the player on the ball. No one would go to a match if u had 2 TWxxS talking non stop telling you everything you can already see and also talking about sxxx no one cares about. Cancelling my subscription account because your wasting money on these over paid wankers. Below it says Date of experience, every match I've watched on TNT.

very poor

very poor, female commentator in particular is just reeling off cliche comments. Clearly has never experienced the hostility of a Leeds vs ManU premier lge game.

WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF POSSIBLE !

WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF POSSIBLE !! paid over £30 a month to watch Gallagher premiership rugby, but now month will never renew. The matches were not in chronological order and appear in a random sequence, and some "full" matches only had half the game. Ever since the matches stopped on premier rugby website for free, the standard has gone down the pan

Awful

Awful - mostly rubbish commentary but above all trying to find the right recording of an overnight match (UK time) via Discovery+ is utterly painful - hard to see what recording is of which match, no logical order to recordings on Discovery+ accessed via Sky. Just a painful, frustrating experience for 80% of the time.

The Coverage of the Ashes Cricket was a disgrace

The Coverage of the Ashes Cricket was woeful. The presenters were very poor. Compared by a football expert who knew little about cricket. TNT take good money for rubbish coverage. So very disappointing and no sign of improvement. Fans deserve better.

TNT sports coverage of the Ashes…

TNT sports coverage of the Ashes cricket has been perfectly aligned with the performance of the England team. Diabolical. When my friends and I wake up, we send a round robin WhatsApp message confirming the number of seconds of delay required on the TV coverage so that it lines up with TMS on the radio - and we can then mute the TNT commentary. And breathe. Come on Sky. Please dig deep for the Ashes with proper cricketers and established commentators fronting up.

BBC pass responsibility to TNT

Oh, Joy! The People’s Games (Behind a Paywall)
Isn’t it just heartwarming? The BBC—our stalwart champion of "free" public broadcasting—has heroically decided to protect us from the burden of watching the Commonwealth Games for free. In a stunning display of generosity, they’ve "passed the torch" to TNT Sports. Now, instead of the inconvenience of just turning on the TV, we get the privilege of paying a monthly subscription fee to see a hurdle cleared. Truly, it’s a victory for the common man’s wallet.
And let’s hear it for Glasgow! While those "frugal" Australians looked at the massive bill and said, "No thanks, we’d rather keep our economy intact," Glasgow stepped up like the friend who offers to buy the whole pub a round when they’ve forgotten their wallet.
The city and its taxpayers are practically tripping over themselves to welcome the expenses. Because if there is one thing a city needs more than functioning infrastructure, it’s the fleeting glory of hosting a sporting event that half the world forgot was happening.
I genuinely hope the games are a "splendid" time for everyone involved. After all, nothing says "community spirit" like a sporting festival you have to pay a premium to witness from your own living room.
Glasgow East.......

Replays truncated by several hours

I love rugby and cricket only, subscribed to TNT Sports/Discovery Plus, but now disappointed because replays e.g. The Ashes right now are truncated - experienced this during previous matches and thought it was just a one-off but the replay for day 1 of test 3 is 6 hours long including the preamble and breaks and ends a few hours before the end of the day's actual action. No idea what the problem is but this is table stakes for a service costing this much. Cancelled my sub. Hope they sort it in time, might come back if they do.
