This is one slick operation with fantastic customer support. They send you the kit which makes programming easy to do. If there are any issues; they are very responsive and there with excellent support.

I was hoping for an answer to question. Not only did they answer but they told me exactly what I neede. Furthermore they let me know one item on my list was not necessary. They also gave me links that told me how to sync my smart key! So grateful. Saved me al least $400 dollars. Thank You!

Initially unable to get the replacement key to work with my 2017 Ram 1500, but the helpful support was able to get me through it and get it working. 100% my error so the help was appreciated. Great price for an identical key from the dealer. Photo cutting worked perfectly. Highly recommend.

Trustworthy and professional. The key made from the picture was perfect. We followed the directions to program the fob and although it didn't work the first time through, we persisted, following the directions provided and about the 3rd time through it worked. I would totally recommend this rather than spending way more at the dealership. These people know what they are talking about. Just be calm and follow the directions.

Update: Upon reading the review, Tom's Key immediately contacted me. Apparently, my return order had been misplaced. They advised they had not received my messages, which were submitted through the online contact page. They immediately issued a refund. I was initially very upset with customer service, however, they did an excellent job of rectifying the situation. Customer service was very kind & accommodating.

Ordered a key by photo & programmer. Upon receipt, the programmer was defective. Tom's Key sent a replacement programmer; however, the key fob did not work either. I contacted Tom's Key & they asked if I had replaced the battery. I had not so I did so but the key fob still would not light up and, subsequently, I still could not program the key. I was not hesitant to order from Tom's Key as they had a 100 % money back guarantee. I put in for the return & returned per the instructions. I sent my return July 15th. I paid a total of $ 182.56 for the service. Per USPS tracking, the return was received July 22nd. Tom's Key said they would issue a refund within 14 days. It is now August 8th & I am still waiting for the refund. I have emailed them several times regarding my return but have received no response. I would definitely not recommend the service to anyone.

Even though the programmer did not with my 2010 Toyota Tacoma and the first set of instructions from support did not work either, the team persevered and set a second set of more involved instructions that did the trick. So do not be afraid to put your trust in Tom's Key Company.

Incredible experience working with Toms Key Company. The process of sending a picture of my key online and getting a new key that works just seemed too good to be true… it wasn’t. I got EXACTLY what I was looking for and then some! As a first timer pairing a key to my car I got all the help and resources needed! Ive had two different keys done by Tom's key. One toyota tacoma key fob and one ford F250 key remote with the key made on it. My experience was great. The toyota fob, I leased the programmer and saved over $100 over getting a fob from toyota. The process was very easy and I never had to leave my home.
The Ford key was even more of a surprise for me because I had only one key to my F250, and it was about to break in half and was well worn. I had priced a replacement for it from my local dealership and was quoted almost $400! So I thought, what do I have to lose trying Tom's key once again on this one? I purchased the key with programmer and the key by photo option. I was very skeptical that this process was going to work with my key being so worn out. I was blown away once I received my new key! It was easy to program and the newly cut key worked flawlessly! I highly recommend Tom's key and I will always use them in the future. They saved me over $300 total on both of my key purchases combined over going to the dealership!

I ordered the fob kit and an extra fob after the car I bought only had 1 key and 1 fob. The installation was so easy and the fobs themselves have great weight to them. I have a 2019 Chevy Tahoe and the fob that came with it has the trunk buttons but the ones ordered do not.

This is the way. For the price of a fob from the dealership you can get two, do it yourself, at your leisure, following their foolproof tutorials and get all sorts of other goodies, if you want. 10/5 stars. Their customer service is bordering on psychic, they're SO responsive.

I needed to get keys made for my wife's Highlander and the RFID FOBs were extremely expensive from local dealers and locksmith. Found Tom's Key Company while searching and the process could not have been easier. I had the original FOBs but both were acting up. It took me about 15 minutes total to program both FOB's and that was taking my time and watching the YouTube tutorial for tips. I could not be happier and spent less than half of a locksmith and one-fourth of the dealer cost!

Programming my key and remote were very easy. Box came with the phone and it worked great.

Tom's is awesome! Our 4 Runner only had a Valet key. They were able to cut a new key from a photo, which worked perfect, and provided the tool to program the key and new FOB. It doesn't get any easier, and a fraction of dealership prices. Coming back for my next key for sure!

I was really worried about programming my own key and skeptical about Tom’s low prices, the salespeople at Costco wanted $400! But I bought it anyway hoping for the best. Then I took a long time working up the courage to do it myself. I shouldn’t have worried at all! The entire process took less than 10 minutes!
