Service
This is the first time I've had a bad experience since using your services. To receive the car, we had to wait almost 3 hours in the office near the airport. The reason given by the employees for the delay was that it was a public holiday and they had fewer staff to handle a large number of reservations.
How could such a situation have occurred?
I supposed that normally, a company like this maintains the necessary staff based on the number of reservations.
I remained completely baffled.

New cars. Friendly and accommodating staff.For some reason my credit card pin didn't work for the deposit . I spend an hour on the phone dealing with my bank. The person behind the counter was patient despite the very busy day . I got the cat .In six days broth it back clean and fueled up . No problems at all.

I recently rented a Hyundai i20…
I recently rented a Hyundai i20 automatic from Sofia Airport for four days, and the experience was excellent from start to finish.
The pick-up process at the airport was smooth and efficient, with no unnecessary delays. The car itself was in great condition—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for city driving as well as short trips in Sofia. The automatic transmission made driving effortless, especially in traffic.
Fuel efficiency was impressive, and the size of the Hyundai i20 made parking in the city very convenient. Despite being a compact car, it was comfortable and offered enough space for luggage and passengers.
The return process was just as easy, with clear instructions and quick handling by the staff. Overall, it was a hassle-free rental experience with great value for money, despite the fact that I delivered the car with a delay and I managed to arrive at the airport while my flight was in boarding process and I had to run a lot not to miss it. Fortunately I managed to fly!!!
I would definitely recommend this option to anyone visiting Sofia and looking for a reliable, comfortable, and easy-to-drive car.

Recommended with Reserves
Not a bad company in general, the car which we were given was ok, but there were both some organisational and communication faults. As well, upon arrival we had a very negative experience with one of their office employees.
We have booked and pre paid a car rental from Sofia head office and the instructions were saying to look for their shuttle upon arrival just in front of the airport terminal 1 entrance, but it was not there. We had to go ourselves to terminal 2 in order to get their shuttle to the car park which was running every 15 minutes. This procedure caused us about 40 minutes initial delay.
Even worse was the extra 3 hours delay caused to us by their very rude, incompetent and unprofessional office employee Milena Shopova. While serving us, at a certain point she started serving another client who apparently had already waited for quite a while for some reason and made us wait for over an hour, not even allowing her colleagues to go on with our booking. She kept saying that she was finishing with that other client, but never actually finishing. While we were waiting a step behind that other client, she was every now and then addressing us in a rude way over the other client’s shoulder asking silly questions and causing arguments.
Eventually, after making us wait for over an hour and a half she also refused to even try to find a solution (though we suggested some, included a call to a supervisor) to a problem caused by not very clear communication in the booking confirmation.
At her refusal, we had to waste other extra time to call a general number of a call center and from there to search the intervention of a supervisor to help us solve the problem.
Fortunately, the person who answered our call was very kind and helpful and after a couple of consultations he put us in contact with the Supervisor Alexander B. who offered a solution which required an extra 20 minutes of time. Only then we could go to another office employee, Stoycho Zhekov who after going through the same initial data verification procedure requiring another 20 minutes, delivered the car to us.
Eventually all went well, but our almost entire first day of rental was wasted due to their incompetent and unprofessional front office staff.

We understand that misunderstandings can occasionally occur, but this information is provided in advance to help ensure a smooth vehicle collection process.
With regard to the shuttle service, we operate shuttle transfers from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Sofia Airport. The shuttle passes regularly at approximately 15-minute intervals at both terminals. The exact shuttle stop location is also described on the rental voucher provided prior to arrival. Should any difficulty arise in locating the shuttle, our team is always available by phone to provide immediate assistance.

Return customer here. For yet another year I received super service from start to finish.
From very fast and efficient communication regarding the requested by me delivery of the vehicle all the way to its pick up from the required location.
All members of staff I interacted with by email, messages or in person demonstrated unwavering patience, courtesy, punctuality and efficiency.

UK resident hiring a car to travel from Bulgaria to Turkey
rented a car specifically to travel from Burgas to Istanbul. Completed all documents that clearly showed I was a UK citizen and lived in the UK. Paid an additional €80 to travel cross border. Very disappointed to arrive at the Bulgarian / Turkish border to find out that UK citizens cannot take a Bulgarian hire car into Turkey. Had to leave car at border and travel to/from border by taxi - cost €450 in total. I was very surprised that your company did not know travel regulations. I understand I sighed a waiver “you cannot guarantee that I could cross the border” but I believe I should have been advised that it’s actually not possible to cross border. Very disappointed with the service provided. I suggest you ask the correct questions when taking booking from UK citizens when hiring a vehicle from you.

Following our review, we concluded that all documents issued and prepared by us were complete, valid, and fully compliant with the requirements for traveling to Turkey with a rental car.
Additionally, we would like to note that in the past, other customers of ours who were also non-Bulgarian citizens have successfully crossed the border into Turkey with rental vehicles and without any similar issues.
For this reason, the arguments provided by the border authorities for denying entry do not appear to be related to the documentation prepared by our company. It is possible that there were other reasons for the refusal of entry. However, we do not have access to such information, as we are not the competent authority responsible for border control decisions and related procedures.

We would also like to point out that other customers of ours, including non-Bulgarian citizens, have successfully traveled to Turkey with rental vehicles provided by our company without experiencing similar issues at the border.
For this reason, based on the information available to us, the refusal of entry does not appear to be related to the documentation issued by our company. Border control authorities may deny entry for various reasons that are entirely outside the scope and responsibility of a car rental provider. While we understand your disappointment and frustration regarding the situation, we believe it is important to clarify that our company fulfilled all obligations related to the preparation of the vehicle and the necessary travel documents in accordance with the applicable requirements.

Very easy
Very easy. I booked booking.com pickup airport Sofia but after a call from me to Top rent a shutllebus came and picked me up in 2 minutes and drove me to the head office. A 3 minute drive.
Drop off same way. every 5-10 minutes there is a free shutllebus from Top rent a car that drives you back to the airport.
You can only get the car with CCard with pincode or Visa. A drop off at a different location as pick up costs extra. Car was almost new with a good navy.
