Horrible VPN, Horrible support

Horrible VPN , Horrible support , no support at all , it has been 13 days or more since I'm contacting the support team through their useless chat system in the site and also through email but no reply at all, nothing. Really? I think all these positive review are lie and fake, because their support is complete gar*bage, waste of time and money. The vpn is useless , slow and nothing great about it, I must have not to pay for this ch**ap scam vpn, I advice everyone avoid them and their useless software.

FAKE "DEDICATED" IPS

DONT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE ALL OF THE "DEDICATED" OR "RESIDENTIAL" IPS THEY GAVE OUT IS SEEN AS DATA CENTER IPS, I PAID 14 DOLLARS FOR NOTHING DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

Best-in-class speed and service

As others have mentioned, torguard stands out in the customer service category. Timely and accurate responses to help you through whatever is needed. Definitely the best customer service of any VPN I've used. Torguards speeds are also arguably the best I've seen, the way they optimize their protocols is fantastic. Their focus on efficiency and maintaining a highly functioning and blazing fast network is amazing to see. Highly recommend!

First class customer service

So after trying many vpn's i chose Torguard.
I am honestly so happy that i went back to Torguard.
I was with them for 2 years then took a break,tried some others,but honestly i should have just Stayed with Torguard all along.
I have been a customer for about 5 years now and Never once have i been dissapointed.

The speed is fast,
The deals for subscriptions are amazing especially some of the offers.
Customer service is truly where Torguard truly shines though,It is just absolutely outstanding.

Companies should learn from this and i mean companies like Express.

After purchasing the vpn from Torguard of which i also got a Dedicated ip as well with them,within the space of under 1 hour it was up and running and had absolutely no issues at all.

Jordan who dealt with this for me from start to finish really did go the extra mile for m to get things sorted out.

Overall i can't recommend them enough and this time i will be staying with Torguard for the long term.

Totally worth the 5 stars.
Both for outstanding customer service and also a fast and speedy vpn service.

No one at the customer service was able to fix the problem and helping me with basic questions...
Very disappointed and ready to terminate my 10 years subscription...

Headache service

What a terrible vpn service i placed an order online 3rd of December for the proxy service it didn't work for me cause of there ip is blocked in the country I travelled to on the same day I cancelled 3rd of December now it's 26th December I am still waiting for a refund they refusing to refund me if I don't answer there questionnaires and if forgotten to answer they still will not refund now as the bank has requested for me to reach out to seller before starting a visa dispute dont create your self headaches i wouldn't order from them again even if they improve there service and coverage.

Shady partners

I don't know if the product itself is good, since despite paying for it, I have never been able to use it.

For crypto payments, Torguard uses the payment portal NowPayments. They should not be dealing with them, they are very shady. My payment got lost by them. They proposed a refund, but to be able to get my refund, they required me taking a video of myself authenticating into my crypto app (which would have revealed my password) and then browsing to the transaction, which would have shown all my assets.

Of course, I refused. I reached out to Torguard for assistance with dealing with their payment partner, but it was of no use.

I assume now that my money is just lost.

For Bitcoin and Litecoin, we use a self-hosted BTCpay server, and for other cryptocurrencies, we work with NowPayments. In cases where a NowPayments transaction is sent incorrectly, the payment is often not lost, but verification is necessary to process it correctly.

Torguard, no longer a customer.

I’ve been a 2 year customer of TorGuard until I signed up for their VPN streaming g service. I asked for my money back I paid 3-months upfront. They refused. I have argued this with my Apple Credit card. Arrogant service staff, too lazy to read previous tickets.

1. Initial Request for Service (09/10/2024 - 09/11/2024)

• 09/10/2024, 20:05: I requested a US streaming IP for my package, explaining my usual setup using WireGuard on my router.
• 09/11/2024, 01:58: Support suggested a San Diego IP, though I requested a closer option to London.
• 09/11/2024, 07:25 - 09:55: I agreed to try the San Diego IP, stressing that Netflix was my priority and asked for a guaranteed service.
• 09/11/2024, 18:08 - 18:26: After nearly 24 hours, I expressed frustration over the delay in activating the IP, far exceeding reasonable setup times.

2. Initial Service Setup (09/11/2024 - 09/12/2024)

• 09/11/2024, 18:26: TorGuard finally confirmed IP activation.
• 09/12/2024, 20:44: I reported speeds of only 3 Mbps, making streaming unusable, and provided screenshots as evidence.
• 09/12/2024, 22:04 - 23:09: Support provided new settings, which did not work.

3. Attempts to Resolve Issues (09/12/2024 - 09/13/2024)

• 09/12/2024, 23:40: Support updated the IP again, asking me to test.
• 09/13/2024, 10:10: I expressed extreme dissatisfaction after three days of ongoing issues. I reminded them that I paid for a working US Netflix IP, which they had yet to provide.
• 09/13/2024, 10:24 - 11:25: Support suggested switching to a New York IP. After trying, the service finally worked, but only after almost three days of troubleshooting.

4. Second Major Service Disruption (09/23/2024)

• 09/23/2024, 16:54: The service went down again. The previously working WireGuard IP stopped functioning.
• 09/23/2024, 17:11 - 17:41: Support’s instructions to fix the issue did not work, despite my attempts and providing additional screenshots. Later claimed there was a fire at the datacenter, no timelines of any fixed or suggestion of new ips.

5. Ongoing Disputes and Request for Refund (09/26/2024 - 09/28/2024)

• 09/26/2024, 16:49: I requested cancellation and a refund due to persistent issues.
• 09/28/2024, 16:35 - 17:25: I had to repeatedly request a refund. I refused to re-explain my issues, as they were already documented in previous tickets.
• 09/28/2024, 17:32: Dave dismissively claimed that since the problem was “fixed,” there was no need for a refund, ignoring the weeks of frustration and downtime.

Key Issues

1. Setup Delays: Took three days to get the service running, with repeated failed suggestions.
2. Poor Service Quality: The assigned IP provided only 3 Mbps, making Netflix streaming impossible.
3. Unhelpful Support: Support provided conflicting suggestions, causing delays and frustration.
4. Recurring Downtime: After brief functionality, the service went down again on 09/23/2024.
5. Dismissive Refund Response: My refund request was dismissed despite clear evidence of ongoing issues and poor service.

TorGuard is an excellent provider of 'Residential IPs'

I've been using TorGuard for a long time. I use TorGuard mostly on my home router. I use their Spectrum (Business / Residential IP), which is incredibly affordable for a "Residential" IP that isn't limited. Because of this, I can access any streaming video, have very few Captchas, log into all of my accounts, and have a dedicated, clean IP. Excellent customer service; I received a response to my inquiries within an hour. I would suggest TorGuard to anyone searching for a dedicated IP in order to access all banking, retail, and streaming websites on native IP. While some VPNs offer DNS redirection (for streaming on VPN Datacenter IP), occasionally it doesn't function, making streaming unusable. With TorGuard's dedicated residential IPs, this is not the case.
