Disappointing
Buying the shed was ok, but I have been left waiting all day for delivery and nothing has arrived. I am gobsmacked that having given Total Sheds 3 weeks notice of when I wanted the shed delivered the organisation has been atrocious. I just hope that this is not a reflection of shed quality only tell when the item finally arrives, sadly the wrong panels delivered and quality not good, split panels, ill fitting door and screws holding some panels together impacted so far into the wood that they cannot be removed. Conversations with Total Sheds are underway to try and rectify these issues. You have failed again on your promises total sheds. I await your call and explanation as to why once again you have failed to deliver.

Beware NOMINAL size
Beware NOMINAL size. Upgraded to heavy duty 24mm from 16mm for £700+. What we got was the standard 16mm. Complained and the response was "we purchase wood at a NOMINAL thickness and plane it down to required thickness you got what you ordered" so given that I assume if you ordered a 16mm tongue and groove you would end up with a 10mm/12mm. The same goes for the thickness of the floor. You couldn't make it up, absolute rip off. Website thickness advertised is at best misleading at worst just a rip off. Trading standards where are you?? Would not touch this company again with a barge pole nor recommend it to my worst enemy.

We would like to clarify that the timber sizes advertised are nominal sizes, which is standard practice throughout the timber industry. Timber is typically sawn to a nominal dimension before being planed and finished, resulting in a slightly smaller finished size. This applies across a wide range of timber products and is not unique to our company.
The product supplied was manufactured in accordance with the specification of the model ordered. We appreciate that industry terminology can sometimes cause confusion, but at no point was there any intention to mislead customers regarding the construction or materials used.
We take product descriptions seriously and continually review our listings to ensure they are as clear and accurate as possible. We regret that our explanation did not meet your expectations.
We value all customer feedback and are sorry that your experience has left you with this impression of our company.

Do Not use this company. The order and delivery process were OK but that’s were it ended. There was damage to the shed with gouges on the composite panels, splits in the posts, mismatched colours on the front panels, poor quality finishing with joints not aligned etc, extremely flimsy roof and overall atrocious quality. Also, as this was a new model when we went to assemble the shed I was told that there were no instructions. I am now over £500 out of pocket as they only agreed to contribute £150 towards the dismantling fees. Why should I be out of pocket for assembly costs for a damaged, poor quality product!! The Customer Service person had a very bad attitude and I had to chase numerous times for my refund.

We would like to clarify that our service is for the supply and delivery of the item only. This is clearly stated on our selling platform and throughout the purchasing process. Assembly and installation are the responsibility of the customer or any third-party installer they choose to engage.
Regarding the assembly and dismantling costs you incurred, these are not services provided by us and therefore are not costs that we are generally liable for. Nevertheless, as a gesture of goodwill, we contributed £150 towards the dismantling fees.
We take all reports of product issues seriously and reviewed the concerns raised. Where appropriate, we worked with you to address the matter in line with our policies and the remedies available.

I recently purchased an 18ft x 8ft shed from Total Sheds and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
From the initial order through to delivery and construction, the whole process was straightforward and professional. The quality of the timber and workmanship has exceeded my expectations, and the finished building looks fantastic in the garden.
What impressed me most was the solid construction and attention to detail. Even before completion, it was clear this wasn’t a typical flimsy garden shed. The framework is substantial, the cladding is well finished, and everything fitted together as it should.
Having spent a lot of time researching different suppliers before making a decision, I’m delighted I chose Total Sheds. The shed offers excellent value for money and has completely transformed the space.

VERY POOR buy elsewhere
If you are in the market for a garden shed my advice to you based on facts is to avoid this company.
The quality of the materials used is very poor at best. The finish quality of the product is even worse and the life span is just abysmal.
Nearly £1000 for a 8 x 10 pent roof shed and having assembly/build issues and poor customer service didn’t really start the experience very well. However once the shed was erected it became perfectly obvious this is a very poor quality product with the gaps, splits, cracks in the timber. Tongue and groove side walls that you can already pile fingers through just shows how badly it is all put together. Let’s be honest we are not gifted with extreme heat so being timber you would expect a little movement but after two weeks installed and now almost a year I will be replacing the shed as rain water gets in badly. Not through the roof but through all sides, windows and panels. It’s horrendous.
So avoid buying something from this company and choose wisely as it will 100% fail and split and you WILL have problems with it.
I can’t even say buy cheap and buy twice as this was not a cheap shed. Far from cheap compared to some available online.
Very poor and I would never buy from this company again.

Timber is a natural material and, as such, characteristics such as knots, small splits, cracks, shrinkage, expansion and movement can occur as it responds to changing weather conditions throughout the year. These are common and expected properties of timber products and do not necessarily indicate a manufacturing defect.
We note your comments regarding gaps, water ingress and the overall condition of the building. Had these issues been reported to us during the warranty period with supporting photographs, we would have been happy to investigate and, where appropriate, offer advice or remedies in accordance with our warranty terms.
We also acknowledge your comments regarding assembly and customer service. As stated at the time of purchase, we supply and deliver the product, while assembly is the responsibility of the customer or their chosen installer. We always aim to provide support where required and regret that you were not satisfied with the assistance provided.
We strongly disagree with the suggestion that our sheds will "100% fail" as we have many customers who continue to enjoy their buildings for years when they are correctly assembled, treated and maintained in accordance with the care instructions provided.
While we are disappointed that your experience has led you to this conclusion, we appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best in the future.

Suppliers absolutely trashed it when packaging it.
They drove screws all through it to hold it ruining the wood.
Couldn't even get the screws out cause they bent them that badly.

We take issues relating to damage in transit and packaging very seriously. In general, components are securely fixed for transport to ensure they arrive safely and undamaged. In some cases, temporary fixings may be used as part of the packing process to prevent movement during delivery. These should be removed during assembly and should not affect the structural integrity or intended use of the timber once correctly prepared.
That said, if any parts were damaged in transit or if fixings caused unacceptable damage to the timber, this should have been reported to us at the time of delivery or during the assembly stage so that we could investigate and offer appropriate support or replacements under our warranty process.
We are sorry that you feel this impacted your experience. We always encourage customers to contact us directly with photos and details so we can resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
We appreciate your comments and regret that your experience has not met expectations.

Terrible build quality
I requested the door on the left, and I left a drawing for the folks doing the install showing the same, and left instruction with the company's main office . . . . but the door has ended up on the right. The build quality is (to be honest) shocking. Many panels are buckled, and one is already broken. Communication has dried-up as soon as issues were raised (and photos sent) - so I have no option now but to post this review. This was not a cheap option, but looking at the state of the build I seriously doubt how well it will last. The door (and lower part of the pent roof) is also ridiculously low - this is almost certainly my fault for not reading every dimension . . . but be warned !

With regard to the door position, we would like to clarify that bespoke installation requests must be confirmed at the point of order and included on the official order documentation. While we appreciate that a drawing may have been provided separately, our production and installation teams work strictly from the confirmed order specification. If the door position was not amended on the final order details, it would be manufactured as standard.
We are also sorry to hear your concerns regarding panel condition and communication. When issues are reported with supporting photographs, these are assessed in line with our warranty and support process. We do not intentionally cease communication; however, all cases must be reviewed and responded to through the appropriate channels, which can sometimes take time depending on the nature of the issue.
Regarding dimensions, all measurements are clearly stated on the product listing, including door height and internal headroom. We do encourage customers to carefully review these prior to purchase, particularly where access height is a key requirement.
We regret that your experience has left you feeling dissatisfied and we appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.

Solid built but few things need looking at.
Ordered 2 x 4ft panels with windows & only one got delivered even sent a diagram & they said no problem.after erecting the shed I noticed that the panelling does not line up on each panel so the 2ft section is one level & the 2 x 4ft sections are the same so one side of the shed has 3 different slat levels.

The Web site let's you select layouts which 'aren't possible'.
We selected a 5x10ft shed with security windows and a double door on the end. Eventually it arrived on a pallet screwed together, half those screws bent in transit so we're a pain to get out, plus the extra holes. Rather than contact us to let us know the door layout wasn't possible, an assumption was made that we could just have a single door on the side, I bought this shed to fit into a gap with no side access. After a number of emails and over 1hr30 mainly on hold (eventually I gave up) I was informed what I'd selected on the Web site wasn't something they actually offered so had to settle for a single door and replacement side panel, also replaced was another panel which had been butchered.
The overall quality gives the impression the apprentice made it.
If this was a cheap shed I'd be more forgiving.

Where an option is not possible, it should be identified and confirmed at the point of order so that an alternative can be agreed before manufacture.
