We had never travelled with Tour Compass before so were unsure what to expect, but their tours sounded good and the communication when enquiring and booking was great, with fair prices too, so we decided to give it a go. We went on a trip to Costa Rica that involved many pick ups / drop offs and to be fair we did expect there could be a level of chaos or confusion, but the whole tour was run like clock work and everyone there was extremely helpful and punctual. We didn't experience any issues at all in our 12 days stay. The hotels were lovely too. We shared a transport with other people who had been on Tour Compass holidays before and said they had always had perfect trips. We couldn't be happier with how it all went, the level of communication at every step, and the kindness and efficiency and helpfulness of the local guides and chauffeurs. We will definitely book with them again.

This trip was our first visit to Cuba and our first time with Tour Compass.
I can highly recommend them.
They provided excellent homestay accommodation in great locations.
They partner witLatin America travel who are also excellent.The first day of the trip a guide comes to visit you at your accommodation and runs through everything you will need to know for an enjoyable stay in Cuba.Getting to grips with the currency is perhaps one of the more challenging things as well
As accepting at times the laissez faire way of operating the transport(the taxi drivers could often be late and they never had the names of their passengers so on mini buses etc you were never quite sure if you were on the right bus but needless to say if you settle in to the relaxed way of Cuban life it always works out.
I was very reassured that our Latin American operator gave us an emergency telephone number to call .We used this on a couple of occasions for minor problems which were always resolved.
We had our own individual tour guides in Havana,Vinales and Trinidad and all of these were exceptional.They were all so knowledgeable about the history,politics,culture of the country.They all spent an extra couple of hours with us and we felt like they were all friends.
We bought the additional excursions (walk in Vinales with a personal guide and a walk and swim in the National park at Trinidad.We loved both of these walks-the calm ,tranquility and wildlife were very much appreciated after a few very lively days in Havana and Trinidad.
Tour Compass wee excellent in answering any questions before the trip .no matter how trivial they might seem
One tip would be to take a torch for when you go out as some of the streets are very dark and the pavements can be very uneven.
Cuba was everything I had hoped it would beThe people are exuberant and super friendly.The music is everywhere-the history very intersecting and the Cuban art is wonderfully vibrant.
I think I found my spiritual home in Cuba and I thank Tour Compass for helping me so efficiently on this journey

This our 3rd holiday with TourCompass and they have been excellent every time. The booking experience was straightforward with quick responses to proposed changes and additions. Flights, transfers and in-country guiding have all been really well organised. Sri Lanka was amazing! We enjoyed all the chosen hotels without having to upgrade. Our guide in Sri Lanka, Rangana, really went the extra mile to make sure we could do everything we wanted, including organising an extra trip to the lagoon in Negombo and cultural entertainment in Kandy. I would particularly recommend this company to people who like to have a mixture of guided experience and time on their own to explore. They also offer a great mix or different trips in the countries they operate in. I think their tours are excellent value and I have already recommend them to lots of my friends!

Our holiday was fabulous, everything ran exactly to plan, guides were very knowledgeable, hotels were of a good to excellent standard. Excellent transport and great communication! We did and saw so much, it was a great mix of history, culture and plenty of free time. Highly recommend

This tour company were very helpful, and fast to sort any queries of ours. They made a tour that was an excellent experience of Cuba. The accommodation was very good quality on the tour, and their rep in Cuba was efficient and helpful in adapting to our needs.

Cambodia and Vietnam trip taken with tour compass was excellent. Well organised with excellent tour reps. Great hotels in Vietnam. Good hotel in Cambodia but in need of upgrade. Great location to all hotels. Very busy trip with crazy busy roads. Can’t fault tour compass and would consider using them again. My favourite place was Hoi an in Vietnam such a beautiful place. Extra trips bought were well worth it.

We booked a holiday to Kenya. The booking process and the holiday booked was good however They are essentially a travel agent as communication and information during the tour was dreadful. They essentially booked with a local provider and left everything to them and provided us with little information throughout our trip and the app was useless. Incorrect information provided at our flight transfer. No taxi on arrival to Mombasa after a very long flight. No information when our guide would pick us up for our safari without us chasing. No information on when we would be picked up to leave unless we chased them.

What an amazing time tour compass gave us in Vietnam. Everything was beautifully arranged from hotels, guides, transport. The guides were just the loveliest people, all locals, all with an incredible story to tell of the places we visited and they brought each trip to life. Excursions were arranged for us. Would definitely use this company again. Thank you for a amazing holiday

A well organised tour . Super time had by all. Reps were very informative, accommodation was brilliant, no need to upgrade.

My husband and I have just returned from Vietnam and this is our first experience going on an organised tour. I can honestly say that Tour compass were fautless and made everything so easy for us on the trip. The hotels were lovely and clean and the staff from Tour compass contacted us straightaway when there was going to be a flight delay and gave us appropriate advise. I am now more confident to go on another tour and will stick with this firm.

Fantastic safari to Tanzania and beach holiday in Zanzibar. Organisation was faultess - always met when we arrived by friendly knowledgeable staff. Our safari guide Papuu was exceptional, knowledgeable and friendly, always keen to please and show Tanzania at it's best. Zanzibar hotel was exceptional and staff a delight. It's an expensive trip with a family of 4 but Tour Compass was great value and we saw so much more than we expected. Highly recommended and will be looking to use Tour Compass again. Great tour company to use. Very simple website to navigate. Stress free booking. Our whole trip from start to finish was easy and stress free. Would highly recommend. A huge variety of different types of holidays.

DO NOT BOOK with Tour Compass for Costa Rica.
We’re mid-trip and can’t comprehend how disorganised everything is. Yesterday descended into complete chaos due to torrential rain (in the rainforest) and trying to align multiple groups, it felt like a school trip gone wrong.
Our current hotel is an absolute hole, and we’ve paid more for a better hotel category. Our itineraries are all over the place and nothing is clear but my favourite is to “spend your free day relaxing by a pool” when our hotel is borderline a hostel….without a pool.
We’re in La Fortuna & the main attraction is to experience the hot springs, all of which are booked out and not included in the tour, it’s an absolute disgrace as the reason we booked through a tour operator is to have everything arranged as we didn’t have time to do this in advance.

To have out laid £4K to a tour operator for this experience which is nothing but sub-par is beyond disappointing and we hope no one experiences such a terrible time as we have after working hard all year to have a “lovely holiday”.

I have to say that this wasn’t the best holiday I’ve ever had it was honestly the greatest adventure I’ve ever had, from the very first day to the last it was amazing the TourCompass staff and guides are 1st class,even though I was a lone traveler I never felt alone because of them. The lovely Marise Isidoro greeted in Rio and her knowledge of the city was very helpful, I had a fantastic tour of the city including a visit to Christ the Redeemer and Sugar loaf mountain, after 3 days there it was on to Foz do Iguacu to see the amazing water falls with my guide Orico Soni Machado again a very knowledgeable guide and a real gentleman, 3 days later I went to the beautiful and peaceful Tupana lodge situated in the Amazon rain forest and experiencing trips along the Amazon and walks in the forest with a very tenacious crocodile hunter guide and a great bloke, lastly I visited the beautiful city of Salvador with its many Cathedrals and vibrant atmosphere, they were preparing for the Christmas festivities at the time and there was lots going on, again my guide was very knowledgeable of the city.
At times this particular tour was quite arduous but then again I am 68 years old and so did expect it to be, I honestly can’t thank the staff of TourCompass and my guides enough for giving me an amazing experience that I will never forget, I have absolutely no hesitation in thoroughly recommending this company, everything was just simply the best.

A well run packed holiday to Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Our guide in Sri Lanka was excellent. We enjoyed all the experiences and met some lovely people. The staff at Villa Nautica in the Maldives were very friendly and helpful. We were lucky to receive an upgrade on our villa. It was a lovely relaxing few days after a busy schedule.
Would thoroughly recommend this holiday for those who like to see something of the country they are visiting rather than just a hotel complex. We had an amazing time in both countries.
